Not the experience we were expecting based on other reviews. Also note my review is based on experience in other Riads around Morocco. These rooms were more a backpackers accommodation than a Riad as we know it in Morocco.|We stayed in the two twin rooms on the ground floor. |Location in Chefchaouene is good as it’s in walking distance to most attractions. Signage is poor and can be a bit tricky if you don’t know where it is. Negative is that it’s located between the main road and a walkway/steps. Very noisy with cars, people walking and talking and the dustbins outside the door are emptied early hours of the morning.|Parking is close by at 60MAD per night.|Rooms are extremely small. Two people if not lying down cannot be in the same room. It’s literally 2.5x3mtrs. You cannot move between the beds as your feet get stuck😂|The beds are on broken wooden slats so you cannot even move them together to make it a double.|Bedding is only a sheet and blanket. Questionable on the cleanliness of the blankets.|Note there is only two beds and a fridge in the room. Nothing else.|Small closet built in the wall but no hangers or shelf space. No storage for suitcases.|Bathroom is smaller than what he had on a small cruise ship. If you on the toilet your feet are in the shower. Water pressure is terrible with a small hand shower and just not able to shower and only wash by hand with the spout. |Breakfast was very basic by Moroccan standards. 1 Msimem and a piece of bread, with coffee and tea. |Staff speak English and are very helpful. |Based on this experience I would not stay here again.

Highly recommend for your stay in Chefcheouen, accessible, clean and the host was super friendly. The terrasse itself makes u fall in love with the beauty of the village.🤍

Cool little guest house with nice rooms. English spoken by hosts and offered great advice for exploring the medina. Location was fantastic with parking close by. Food was good. The shower in our room was so tiny you could hardly fit inside and the water flooded the floor; but the water was hot! The biggest complaint was the noise: there is absolutely no sound separation between the rooms so you hear everything. Despite it all, we enjoyed the experience and the price was certainly affordable.

I was already in awe of the chefchaouen when i arrived from fez, it is a city that continues to surprise me and it's beauty increases every day!||i stayed in chefchaouen for 1 day and 1 night and riad zman was the best choice by far. It's a few minutes walk away from the main square and it's highly unlikely to ever get lost since you just have to walk up the hill of streets and down again. The riad was beautiful very simple room, but very clean and had a fridge!! so you can put drinks in. Air con present for those hot nights in chefchaouen. The manager and staff were friendly and kind always willing to help us and make us feel welcome. Breakfast was amazing as well you get a beautiful view of chefchaouen and the beautiful mountains. The people are amazing, the locals are so kind and full of stories.! they're also very helpful. Food is relatively cheap and walking is the best to get by !!! will definitely come back to chefchaouen and will definitely stay it! this place is memorable and will definitely come back to stay and dar zman.

Managed by Bouchra who speaks good English, this Dar is in the Mellah (Old Jewish quarter). Good location but not suitable for guests with mobility problems. Our room was ‘L’ shaped and the largest! No room for two women despite 3 beds! Shower tiny. Good for a couple of nights without luggage. No hanging space or drawers! Very blue with charm and noise from neighbours at night. We had room on first floor ‘Elgalia’. Breakfast on second floor any time from 9.30 onwards. Small outside terrace for breakfast or nicer indoors with local paintings and blue walls. Charming. 6 minute walk uphill to the Médina and Plaza. Take grande or petite taxi to outside Hotel MADRID and then walk up small slope and a few steps to the welcoming Dar. Recommended. 9 rooms only.

First of all i loved the location cuz it's close to main street and we had luggages so we were worried about carrying it all the way up the stairs in the old medina , this dar zman was few steps from main street , service is good , it's old traditional house with terrace and a balcony which i loved cuz of the view , our room was small, one big bed , 1 small bed we used it to put our luggage cuz there was no closet and not enough space left except for like 4 meter square to move, toilet is too small, we came in january so the weather is very cold, when i open the tap water is warm then turns cold, so taking shower was a bad idea, hope they fix this problem, there was a heating system in the room which i loved it so much. Breakfast is served between 8:30 and 10:30 am , it was okay 👍. Anyhow if you don't have problem with small congested places then you'll be okay ,
