Darb 1718

Lots of pottery workshops with all sorts of items (cooking, serving, decoration) for reasonable prices. The area is quiet and pleasant to walk through, and everyone we met was helpful.

It's a really nice place for concerts and other cultural events. Everything takes place in a really laid back and informal atmosphere. Last concert I attended there we were sitting on beam bags in a garden and the performers were in the same place. It is located in an interesting place of Old Cairo but might not be very easy to reach for some people. I strongly recommend going for a relaxing, fun and engaging evening of music when they have something on.

Unfortunately visited Darb1718 on a Friday afternoon, didn’t get the chance to visit the galleries as they were closed. However the stroll around was fun, street art and cool corners all around the site. Must visit again!

I went to Darb 1718 for an exihibition and I loved it! Within the same compound you can find pottery workshops, sculpture ateliers and other nice shops. The rooftop is pretty cool for concerts and events.

The most contemporary art place in old Cairo. Several activities, good ambiance, pottery classes, exhibitions, open air rooftop for concerts.

A nice place of concert and art event , public performances and art gallery. Surrounded by artisans creating different handicrafts. one of the contemporary art places in Cairo. Must visit on a concert or exhibition.

I love this place so much, it has great environment. Good workshops, events and concerts, and recently they started a beautiful cinema club. I just hope they return to make more pottery workshops.
