Darcy Garden

Visited D’Arcy Garden in Dijon and found it much more crowded than expected, which made it hard to fully enjoy. I can imagine it’s quite charming when quiet, but it’s also smaller than it appears in photos or other reviews. If you’re spending a day exploring Dijon, I wouldn’t say it’s worth going out of your way to visit, unless you’re specifically looking for a spot to sit down or have a picnic in the middle of the city. Otherwise, there are more interesting stops to prioritize.

Fun little park. There was an ice cream and drink stand with a small merry-go-round. Small playground and a few historical buildings and a fountain. Nice to just sit and relax and talk for a few minutes while the kids ran around.

Nice playground with a pocket sized Villa Savoye, a classic modernist building by Le Corbusier.

Beautiful park and fountain, our kids amused themselves in the fair ride (1 ticket is 3 min and costed 2.5 euros)

Great park to walk through, admiring the view or to seat down reading a book while the world moves on. It is also a wonderful place to have a picnic while the kids play in the play area.

Beautiful public space with tables for picnics and activities for kids.

Such a lovely spot in the city. Loved seeing families out walking together, sitting down and taking in the beauty of the park, and even trying out the exercise machines :)

Looks nice and welcoming. Though a little work needs to be done to make it more modern and relaxing.
