We tried their breakfast and found it to be average overall. The Eggs Benedict were fine, though the hollandaise sauce lacked a bit of flavour. The English breakfast was decent. The fresh juice was good and refreshing, while the coffee was just okay. The service was good and the staff were attentive. Overall, it’s a reasonable option for an early breakfast or a casual brunch.

Friendly and great service in this restaurant. The food was fine and the salad very nice. It’s quite on the pricey side compared to other spots in the close vicinity (hotels breakfast and similar cafe near by) but nice to have a bit of a change.

Such a delightful experience from start to finish! The atmosphere is straight out of a storybook — cheerful pastels, cozy checkered decor, and charming crockery that makes you feel instantly at home. We tried a few dishes and loved every bite. The veggie burger was hearty and well-balanced, with a thick, flavourful patty layered between fresh greens, cheese, and a hint of herby sauce that added a refreshing twist. The fish and chips were beautifully done — crispy golden coating, thick-cut fries, and a fresh salad that wasn’t just an afterthought. And the star of the show? The apple crumble with warm custard — absolute comfort food heaven. The crumb topping was buttery and perfect, with soft baked fruit and velvety custard tying it all together. The service was friendly, and everything came out quickly and beautifully plated. It’s rare to find a place where both the savoury and sweet options shine equally, but Darcy’s nails it. Highly recommend for a relaxed evening or weekend treat. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing food . We tried several dishes - from the breakfast burritos which melts in your mouth to their carrot cake which was absolutely delicious. The service is great and the people are also very friendly. The location is very convenient as well.

When I first entered the restaurant, I was amazed by the yellows and blues decors that matched the cute ceramics and the tables. The owner really put a lot of thought in the maintenance and the look of this sweet place. I had ordered the D'Arcy fillet steak with mushroom sauce and mash potatoes (steak was juicy and the mash was superb!). I have tried their chicken breast with green pepper sauce. That was tasty as well. The one that actually made me cry in happiness was the apple crumble with vanilla ice cream. Words cant say how DELICIOUS that dessert was. Unfortunately, we did not take pictures with how tempting the food looked and smelled but I would definitely drag someone to bring with me to eat here again next time!

D’Arcy’s Kitchen in Shatti Qurum is a cozy place to enjoy a good meal. I had the English Breakfast with a cup of coffee, and both tasted really good. The food was fresh and nicely presented. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor dining area, which makes the experience even better, especially in the cooler months. It’s located in Jawharat A’Shati, which is easy to find and has a nice vibe. The place feels calm and welcoming. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the quality of food and service make it worth it. The staff were nice and friendly, which added to the overall experience. I would definitely come back again!

Honestly one of the best fillet steaks I have had in the Middle East in 10 years. Staff are excellent and bubbly… Will definitely be back
