Darling Residency

I had an amazing experience at [Darling ]. The non-veg dishes were absolutely delicious and well-prepared, showcasing authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The variety on the menu was impressive, catering to different tastes and preferences. The service was top-notch, with the staff being attentive, polite, and quick to respond to any requests. The cleanliness and ambiance of the hotel added to the overall enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for exceptional non-veg food and outstanding service. WATER HEATER NOT WORKING, Zero hospitality, Unfit for 4 star, looting people's money They don't have a concept of smoking/non smoking room. First they provided a smoking room which was terrible, then we requested to change to another room. The water heater system didn't work. They said "it'll be repaired overnight". They fooled us, morning was in the same state. When we asked, they provided hot water in a bucket. This is how this 4 star hotel serves. Every staff including receptionist and watchman is rude and lacking hospitality. The watchman doesn't allow you to park your vehicle in the entrance to load our luggage after checkout. We don't expect them to load the luggage as star hotels do. They didn't even allow us to park and load. Such an irritating service. You pay money and get fooled and irritated. Darling lost it's beauty

Good place for a practical stay. They advertise as 4 star, but surely less than that. Staff are very friendly. Valet parking not available, though parking is available in the back. When i stayed, hot water in the tap wad pathetic and we watsed 30 nins to figure out including house keeping. Finally the issue was not resolved. Breakfast was good but they refused to serve tea separately and breakfast (without tea) separately and forced us to have at one sitting citing policy. This was a bid let down for me.

We had lunch for four people and as always, I am very happy with the food they serve but it took longer than expected which is very unusual for this brand. Otherwise, this is the place I would love to recommend and it is our city's brand.

We have gone there to use their veg restaurant, food was very good. But not friendly for North Indian people. Rooms was okay .

I am giving review only on the restuarant. One of the worst and costliest hotel in entire vellore. No proper service and food quality comes down continously over the years. Very very few people go there and eat and so they charge hefty price. Average 1 person cost of an normal veg dish like idly , dosa will come close to 600 to 700rs. Never ever go for desert section. They will loot you like hell .

Very worst experience we ordered a juice where we got only foam instead of juice, also servers are unaware about the food names and serving different things for what we have ordered........... worthless foods served for the highest price.

I stayed in Darling residency for 2 days. It was a good experience. All the support staff from reception desk, housekeeping and room service was top. This is my third stay in the hotel in last 8 years. Best part was the complimentary breakfast and the veg lunch and dinner spread. All the employees were supportive. Only issue faced was the air conditioner. It was bit difficult to control the temperature. The reception desk was supportive to change my room, still the room had ac issues.
