"Nestled between Darling Harbour and Chinatown, Darling Square is one of the city’s newest districts for shopping and dining. It’s centered on Steam Mill Lane, an artsy alleyway with a Tokyo vibe where you can choose between coffee and sandwiches or bubble tea and banh mi. Consider returning for noodles, whiskey, and karaoke at Bang Bang after dark. The Square has fashion covered too, whether you’re after new specs or eco-friendly threads. And once you’re all dined and shopped out, grab a city bike and head to The Goods Line, an elevated pedestrian and cycling path built on former train tracks like New York’s High Line. The Frank Gehry-designed Dr. Chau Chak, or “paper bag” building, is a good resting place."

Darling Square is such a vibrant and modern area! I visited during the Vivid festival, and the atmosphere was amazing — colorful lights, music, and lots of people enjoying the night. There are plenty of cafés, restaurants, and places to sit and relax. Very clean and easy to walk around. A perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful city vibe at night!

The crispy fried wings here are truly mouth-watering — golden brown on the outside, perfectly seasoned, and juicy on the inside. Every bite is packed with crunch and flavor that keeps you coming back for more. Alongside the wings, there is an impressive variety of food available, from sizzling meats to fresh sides and hearty meals, making it a place where everyone can find something delicious. #CrispyFriedWings #DeliciousFood #FoodVariety #FamilyFriendly

Good little area to walk around and explore different eateries. Would be good to have more public undercover areas and toilets kept a bit cleaner. Last visit no soap in women's bathroom and trash in cubicles.

Yelp
New! This library building was designed by Kengo Kuma & Assoc. of Japan and occupies floors 2 & 3. The main floor has access to public computers, an inviting lounge, meeting rooms to rent, a Maker Space with 3D printing and all kinds of cool electronic bits for checkout. This is a community library and ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. On floor 1 there are a host of restaurants and bars! Out front there is seating and even a little grass area with tables & umbrellas. This is worth visiting just to see the building! As a tourist you could also relax, read & catch up on email~
