The hospitality was amazing. Peter & the staff in the hotel were so pleasant & helpful in every way. The sauna was clean & top notch. Most of all, our kids enjoyed the goats - every morning and every evening. The scenery is beautiful (mountains, greenery.) The proximity to the cable cars, the town (you can walk or take a bus that stops less than 1 min from hotel) were super convenient. Many areas to hike, walk. & lastly the food - amazing, flavorful and worth every penny. The chef is the best. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Firstly, the services including cleaning are good and we are comfortable with staying the room. The furniture and the atmosphere are unified and lovely. Secondly, the mountain view from the room is really nice. Above all, the breakfast and dinner at the restaurant are really fantastic. We enjoyed our stays at this hotel. Thank you!

Wow. What a surprise. I booked Hotel Bodmi for a spontaneous weekend without having high expectations - it was simply a place to stay. It is so much more - location, food, service. Highly recommend! The view for breakfast lunch and dinner is unrivaled. Unobstructed views of Eiger and food that makes you feel like you’re not in Switzerland ;) I’ll be back!

The view from the hotel is truly unique. We were happy with our double room, though it was a bit small and needs some renovation. It would be good to let arriving guests know that they need a reservation at the restaurant if they plan to have dinner the same day. We arrived at 7 p.m., and the receptionist told us that we could not have dinner because the restaurant could not accept more diners. After we asked whether room service was possible and she consulted with the restaurant staff, it turned out to be an option. In the end, we did eat at the restaurant because, after going there to place our room service order, Peter (thank you) kindly said that it wouldn’t be a problem to accommodate us (and there were several tables free). Breakfast was great, but we were not thrilled with the dinner options or the quality of the food given the high prices.

It has one of the most breathtaking views in all of Switzerland. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, especially our waiter Peter, who was friendly, attentive, and professional. The food was excellent. We had a delicious Wiener Schnitzel and a fantastic hamburger, both cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!

We only ate dinner there, best meal in Switzerland, we came back two nights in a row and we weren't disappointed. You must go there! Every bite was amazing. We especially loved the bruscceta, pasta with salmon which was the most flavor balanced pasta I ever had.

Magic hotel! We will come back. Wonderful views. Incredible service. The hotel is located ten minutes walking from the city center, in a very quite area, with simply the best views in Grindelwald. The views are magic, you can stay watching for hours....And the surronding is very very quiet. The service is very very good, and we could rent some e-bikes to go up the mountain. The restaurant is quite good, and there is food for children. Rooms are big and functional, and try to get one with mountain views. If you go in summer it is very close to Grindelwald First gondola.

We hopped in for dinner. The food was perfect. It is a very child-friendly place. The kids were playing in the grass field right after the terrace. The view from the terrace is gorgeous. Many mountains can be seen all over 3000 meters.

We dropped in for food. The food was fantastic - tender lamb, sweet veggies and mouth watering fettucine. The owners are incredible - they drove us to the train station so we could catch the last train.

Very sophisticated food - surprising to me in such a small village. Excellent flavors and high quality food. Expensive, but it is Switzerland after all. Would come back to this restaurant.
