Great hotel located about 10 mins up the hill from Grindelwald centre. Staff friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious (junior suite) providing good space for family of 4. Bed not the best, a bit short on length (I am 182cm) but ample width, pillows are very soft. Kids sofa bed was fine. Buffet breakfast was fine, lunch options good and dinner good, prices are typically found in Grindelwald area

Great hotel right next to Bodmi Arena with the heated ski storage room. The Junior Suite with Mountain View has great views and they have private parking which is very convenient. Breakfast is also very good and they serve lunch with many options. Restaurant is for everyone - not only for hotel guests and highly recommended for anyone staying in Grindelwald. The hotel is reccomended if you come with your children for Bodmi Arena ski/snowboard training.

Firstly, the services including cleaning are good and we are comfortable with staying the room. The furniture and the atmosphere are unified and lovely. Secondly, the mountain view from the room is really nice. Above all, the breakfast and dinner at the restaurant are really fantastic. We enjoyed our stays at this hotel. Thank you!

The hospitality was amazing. Peter & the staff in the hotel were so pleasant & helpful in every way. The sauna was clean & top notch. Most of all, our kids enjoyed the goats - every morning and every evening. The scenery is beautiful (mountains, greenery.) The proximity to the cable cars, the town (you can walk or take a bus that stops less than 1 min from hotel) were super convenient. Many areas to hike, walk. & lastly the food - amazing, flavorful and worth every penny. The chef is the best. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We spent 4 nights here with our family and absolutely loved it. The hotel has some of the best views in Grindelwald — waking up to rolling hills and snow-capped peaks is just dreamy. It’s peaceful yet well connected, with a bus stop nearby or a 20-minute walk into town. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the restaurant is a highlight in its own right with excellent food. Service was consistently warm and attentive — a special thanks to Peter for his friendliness. Overall, a wonderful stay that we’d happily return to.

We absolutely had the best stay at the hotel. The restaurant staff Peter and Jessica were fantastic and made us feel so welcome. Chef Mike, maybe Mark I lost his card, went out of his way to treat us to authentic Swiss rosti, which wasn’t on the menu when we were there. He also spent time at our table explaining the subtleties of Swiss cuisine. Also very welcoming . Views were spectacular. Bus stop was right there if needed. Hotel was a little dated but really gave off the Swiss vibe. Still, 5 stars all around, next stay will be when the snow is falling. Can’t wait to go back.

We just had dinner today with my wife. The food was absolutely amazing and wonderful with a magical atmosphere. I totally recommend this restaurant for a dinner because the kitchen is just amazing.. (We had five spice duck and salmon tagliatelle)

Magic hotel! We will come back. Wonderful views. Incredible service. The hotel is located ten minutes walking from the city center, in a very quite area, with simply the best views in Grindelwald. The views are magic, you can stay watching for hours....And the surronding is very very quiet. The service is very very good, and we could rent some e-bikes to go up the mountain. The restaurant is quite good, and there is food for children. Rooms are big and functional, and try to get one with mountain views. If you go in summer it is very close to Grindelwald First gondola.

We dropped in for food. The food was fantastic - tender lamb, sweet veggies and mouth watering fettucine. The owners are incredible - they drove us to the train station so we could catch the last train.

Very sophisticated food - surprising to me in such a small village. Excellent flavors and high quality food. Expensive, but it is Switzerland after all. Would come back to this restaurant.
