Amazing experience all around. The staff and people at Bodmi make this truly an exceptional and the most personal stay that I have ever had traveling across Europe. The Spa facilities are some of the best even beating my home country club facilities. Food was exceptional, rooms were great with an even better view, and the secluded location adds to the atmosphere. Will be back and thank you for the goat milk body scrub!

Best located hotel in all of Grindelwald, you will appreciate the rolling hills and the views of the Eiger and the glaciers. once you stay here you dont want to stay in the touristy part of town anymore. Beautiful dramatic views, amazing pictures and an authentic Swiss chalet in Grindelwald.

The Bodmi Is an amazing property with amazing staff. We stayed here just over a week ago for 2 days. The property is off the beaten path behind the main part of town, so it is super quiet and peaceful. The only challenge For us was the fact that we had an early train to zurich, and the buses don't run super early in switzerland. However, we made use of trainlockers to take down our big bags the day before, so we could make the ten minute walk down the hill to catch our train early. The staff here is amazing. They did everything they could to help accommodate us from storing our baggage. Because we got there super early on the day of our check-in. To making sure we had a bag breakfast/lunch because we were leaving so early when we checked out we would miss breakfast. And it wasn't just like a cheap bagel some cream cheese and juice. They made us eat a sandwich. Give us a bottle of water a bottle of juice. A couple of pieces of fruit and a candy bar. They accommodated our checkout as the front desk isn't staffed that early? So we settled our bill the night before. And they said, just leave the key on the desk when you leave. This kind of service would never happen here in the states. The spa is an amazing little piece of heaven after a long day of hiking to rest and recharge. The restaurant was fantastic, I recommend the fondue and a tall Rugen Brau. The breakfast that's included with the room was fantastic. It was just as good as the luxury hotel that we stayed at in Interlaken With our larger group. The complimentary white wine at the end of the day was amazing And that comes from someone who doesn't generally like white wine. And lastly, make sure you book early enough before your trip so that you can request a room with a view. It is stunning.

the view is just awesome! friendly and helpful hotel staffs. bus stop is just beside the hotel, the shops area are just 5-10mins walk down slope.

The hotel is really confortable, clean and beautiful. The staff super friendly and always there to make your stay confortable. The breakfast was delicious and different each day. We enjoy a dinner at the hotel and we spend a pleasant night in family. And is so close to the center, 10 min walking. I fully recommed this hotel!!!!

Das bodmi is a little ways out of the downtown area, which is what we wanted it was in a quite area, but still easily accessible as there is a bus that takes you right infront of it. And let me tell you this is the hotel to book!! First they welcome you with a free drink (wine, beer, champagne). Then they offer the BEST food at dinner. We only intended to eat the 3 course meal the first night and then explore other restaurants but it truly was the best food my wife & I had ever eaten. We ate there all 4 nights and each meal was 10/10. Also the staff there is so friendly & accommodating. They made us feel like family. The hotel room itself was pretty nice with a very comfy bed & beautiful views. I legitimately would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone I know going to Grindelwald. If you have unfortunately already booked somewhere else to stay, you should still come check out the 3 course dinners they have! Or at least grab a beer on the patio to enjoy the views. Ah, I miss it so much already 😭

Hotel is in a great location, starting point to hike up to First, 10 mins walk down to town and lovely scenery of surrounding mountains! When going from the station to hotel, recommend taking a bus. The road is super steep and impossible if you have big luggage! But do check the bus schedule in advance as we arrived around noon and the bus drivers were in the middle of a 1-2 lunch break… The breakfast is amazing - best we’ve had in our trip. Bubbles, wide tea selection, hot chocolate 😍 Service was also nice, very helpful receptionist!

We dropped in for food. The food was fantastic - tender lamb, sweet veggies and mouth watering fettucine. The owners are incredible - they drove us to the train station so we could catch the last train.

Very sophisticated food - surprising to me in such a small village. Excellent flavors and high quality food. Expensive, but it is Switzerland after all. Would come back to this restaurant.
