Das Edelweiss is truly a gem of a hotel. Very clean, absolute first rate breakfast and late afternoon snack. Next to train tracks but not noisy at all. The family who runs the property (Klaus & Victoria) are friendly, super professional and tend to your every need. ||You really don't need a car though the hotel does have parking. Gondola is a 5-10 minute walk that's delightful and very easy.||The hotel itself has lovely, simple rooms that fulfill every need we had. Highly recommended for families, couples, skiers, cyclists and really anyone who wants to relax in Kitzbuhel.

A group of seven of us recently stayed at Hotel Edelweiss, and what stood out the most was the absolutely amazing hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel completely at home. Their friendliness and attentiveness were unmatched! They truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The food was another highlight.. delicious, fresh, and served with such care. We especially appreciated how the staff remembered our preferences and made dining a delightful experience. The recommendations they gave for local trips were spot on, and the sauna was the perfect way to end our days, relaxing and rejuvenating. Hotel Edelweiss doesn’t just offer a place to stay; they offer an experience filled with warmth, comfort, and genuine care. I couldn’t recommend it more! If you’re looking for a place with amazing hospitality and a team that treats you like family, this is it.

My husband and I stayed at Das Edelweiss over the new year holiday and had the most amazing experience. This family-run hotel is some of the best hospitality I’ve ever encountered. They welcome you and give you plenty of recommendations for restaurants, ski routes, etc. The hotel is walking distance to town and the gondola which was perfect for us to ski every day. We were able to walk to dinner every night no problem. The breakfast is delicious and fresh and they offer plenty. They will even make you eggs how you want them prepared. The cleaning staff was warm and friendly and did a great job. Nice rooms with great views and balconies. I hope we will be back one day! Thank you!

What a lovely place and hospitable family. Our room was very comfortable with stunning views of the mountain. Everything functioned well in the bathroom and lots of closet space with easy access to dining room.|Breakfast was plentiful and varied with the family taking special attention to personal needs. The late day buffet sufficed as dinner for us. It was also varied and plentiful with a different delicious soup every night.|The family that owns the hotel was very attentive to our needs.|I especially appreciated the daughter's advice to visit the Albertina in Vienna which turned out to be very helpful.|I would advice storing skis at ski lift for a very nominal fee.

Stayed for 3 nights. Nice building and the location is good with about a 5 minute walk to the cable. The staff is very kind and give you a warm, welcoming feeling. Breakfast covers all bases and I particularly enjoyed the wide selection of fruit available. Amenities include a sauna, exercise room and a changing room for your equipment. All in very good condition. Would definitely recommend for anyone staying in Kitzbuhel.

What a gem nestled in the Tirolean alps! |This is a great hotel and so close to the slopes. The hosts are superb - their hospitality is outstanding, they literally cannot do enough for you. From the moment you step into the hotel, they make you feel totally welcome. |The breakfast and afternoon snacks are amazing - just what you need after a hard day on the slopes. |Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

First of all this hotel definitely feels like more of a 4 star hotel than a 3 star! It is super clean and has all the amenities you need for a ski trip. |The staff are excellent and so attentive constantly asking you about your day and if you needed anything as well as giving recommendations for ski routes and restaurants.|Our room (104) was clean and cosy. They even provided a dressing gown and slippers. It had a balcony that overlooked the train line. Important to note the hotel is right next to the train track but this did not wake us in the night. |The hotel is a short 3 min walk to the gondola, they have ski storage. It’s a slightly longer walk into town (just under 10 mins) but is in a very good location. |Breakfast was extensive with a full continental spread as well as eggs freshly cooked to order. |As well as this they have a small buffet and cake every day from 4pm-6pm which was a nice added touch. |The honesty bar is also great and very reasonable. |We used the sauna once and didn’t use the gym, as we were too tired from skiing however the gym has a few cardio machines. |Thank you to Das Edelweiss for making our holiday so great, it’s worthy of the top spot on TripAdvisor!

During our stay at this hotel, we were warmly greeted by the incredibly welcoming staff and owner, whose hospitality truly made our experience exceptional. Their personal touch and attentiveness added a special charm, creating a homely atmosphere that set this hotel apart. The ideal location near downtown and the Hahnenkammstraße ski station, along with the staff and owner's warm reception, made our trip seamless and enjoyable. Feeling valued and cared for throughout our stay, we will definitely be returning to this charming hotel in the future. Highly recommended for a perfect stay in this picturesque location.
