Das Gerstl Alpine Retreat

This is one of the most special hotels I've ever visited. Stayed here last week for four nights while attending Olympic events in nearby Livigno. Cannot say enough amazing things about this hotel. The views, the friendly and kind staff, the incredible offerings of pools and saunas, the spa, the breakfast, the gourmet dinners - you could spend weeks here and be in relaxation heaven. We stayed in the Piz Rasass suite, and it was perfect. Spacious, stylish, clean, and with incredible offerings for a private room, like a hot tub with a view on our huge terrace and our own personal and spacious sauna. This room was also very private, highly recommend. The pools and spa here are top notch. Numerous outdoor and indoor heated pools, perfect for snowy views of the incredible mountains and valley below. Numerous different saunas, steam room, and massage offerings truly make this place relaxation heaven. The restaurant here is really a star too. Excellent offerings at breakfast, and while we didn't book the full board, we ended up eating dinner at the hotel twice, as the food and service is impeccable. Truly gourmet level quality and service. The staff is also so kind and helpful, everyone we interacted with at the restaurant, bar, and throughout the hotel made our experience so much better.

Hotel Das Gerstl is located in a spectacular location with a view of the Alpine peaks and the valley. The service at the hotel is very friendly and communicative. The interior and exterior of the hotel is mainly made of natural materials and provides a feeling of warmth and intimacy, a very nicely balanced atmosphere that exudes a warm and homely atmosphere. I would especially like to point out the impeccable cleanliness and the green concept of cleaning that they implement. The feeling that green cleaning offers guests through a well-kept atmosphere is immediately felt when you enter the hotel. All in all, a wonderful experience and a hotel you must visit.

Absolutely amazing honeymoon experience! The rooms were fantastic, the food was absolutely delicious and the spa area was out of this world. We hardly left the hotel because we enjoyed the spa area so much. Especially the adult only textile free zone was pure relaxation. We loved all the different quiet rooms to relax, the jacuzzi and the different saunas. Also the normal swimming pool and the swimming pond outside was amazing.

What can you say, a great view over the valley from every window in this hotel. We hat a top modern suite with breathtaking views to the valley. The spa is huge and even with an indoor infinity pool. Staff is super friendly and the food is amazing.

My husband and I visited this hotel for our 'babymoon' holiday, the last trip with just the 2 of us and we had an excellent stay. The hotel is beautifully located in the mountains with a spectacular view on a valley. There are a lot of activities you can do in the area and there are beautiful site seeing places. The food was amazing! We were surprised every day by the great menu suggested by the chef, which was truly the next level every time. Also the breakfast was really tasty with many healthy options and fresh products. The hotel has a nice wellness centre with several saunas, steambaths and pools where you can relax for a big part of your day. They offer excellent massages and other treatments which we given by professionally trained staff. But the best factor of the hotel was the impeccable service everywhere in the hotel. Our waitress Stephanie was amazing and accommodated every request. Susie at the reception was lovely and gave us some great recommendations for hiking trails in the area but I have to say that everyone in the hotel was absolutely amazing and friendly. The only feedback I would have is that the printed information everywhere in the hotel is in German and Italian, we do not speak neither of the two languages so it was sometimes hard to understand all information. Though I have to say that everybody we interacted with spoke English and all personalized letters were also nicely translated for us.

Our third stay at Das Gerstl confirms the high standards of accommodation for a relaxing and comfortable holiday in the mountains. It is the best hotel we have ever visited. We stayed for a week in our spacious room and clean room. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Eating here is a real treat. Swimming after a hike is a perfect way to relax and the views from the pool is awesome. And yet there’s more to discover in the Vinschgauer region.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this unbelievable place. From the entrance to the restaurant and all the facilities this place has the wow factor. Then the rooms WOW and the view from everywhere is beyond description. We had a massage in what could be described as the best "spa facility " anywhere, then the indoor pool with outdoor spa bath and views over the townships below (2300 meter elevation) we visited in summer and the weather was perfect and I'm told it's the perfect "ski from your room" in winter resort!!||Can't wait to go back next time with the entire family

The hotel is beautifully built with view to die for , but apart from these they have great staff who take care of guests and keep the place spotless . Someone from the family that own the hotel is always present to keep an eye on things 👌🏻|The facilities are great and immaculately kept ,views are visible from pool sauna gym !
