On the Grid : Das Gramm

"Das Gramm makes it possibly to do grocery shopping without having bad conscience. The name refers to the act of weighing your food. That means in Das Gramm you won't find any pre-weighed plastic bags but have to do it yourself and just buy the amount you really need. Furthermore all the products are regionally produced and fair traded. Done with shopping? So let's enjoy a coffee in the sun right in front of the store while looking at the friendly alien on the other side of the Mur river." - HUNGRY

Great shop with very friendly staff. You can buy everything here free from plastic. They have vegetables, fruit, cereal, spices and environmental Friendly products such as steel razors, bamboo toothbrushes and many other things. The food they serve is also very delicious, so this place is most definitely worth a visit!

Sweet little place but in my opinion the Coffee is too small(the cappuccino!) for the price. That's why my 3 star. Waitress are okay, depending on the mood they have. Sometimes you need to go inside and ask for what you need.

Great little community gem, lovely place to pick up regional products with zero waste from packaging. Highly recommended: you can order fresh meat and fish, too.

I LOVE zero waste shopping, it's BRILLIANT and definitely the way forward. So thank you Denagramm. However I'm shocked at how expensive my washing up liquid was today, it cost over 5 euro for 500ml. It's sadly unaffordable for me. I understand it's sensitive and natural, but I can buy Ecover refill where I am from in the UK for around 1.50 or less. I'm not quite sure where to get my w-u-liquid refill from now.... I don't fancy going back to plastic? But the other option is too expensive...

Das Dekagramm is a supermarket where you also can go and have lunch. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food delicious. I highly recommend to go here.

Awful experience, we waited for 40 minutes to get 2 cakes and then were told that there are problems in the kitchen and that it will take more time. We were in a rush and just had to take food with us. Real disappointment!
