Yesterday we had a work night out at Peacetanbul. We took about 30 people and they delivered us a feast! Starting with a lentil soup, but quickly followed by a succession of plates full of food and bowls of different sauces and dips. Unfortunately I don't know the names of half the things that were served up, but I'll have a stab at describing them:
- A kind of omelet, sliced into small pieces
- Fried rolls containing either meat or sheep's cheese
- A plate of fried, grilled & boiled vegetables
- A Turkish-style salad with lots of tomato and olives
- Cous Cous
- A plate of grilled peppers
- Many, many plates of grilled meat some skewered, some not (beef, lamb, chicken)
The plates of food kept coming until everyone was more than stuffed!
Everything was great, with the meat being a highlight - I'd highly recommend Peacetanbul for parties. I'll have to visit again and see how it is as a restaurant.
