Das voglhaus cafe und kaufhaus

We got stunned by the friendliness of the staff and the beauty of the coffee shop. Not only the choice of beverages and food amazed us but also the decor items sold all around the store, ging it a really cozy appearance. It’s not too expensive and they have plenty of vegan products. My first time here and definitely not my last one, for now my favourite coffee shop in Konstanz!

Had an afternoon coffee and cake at the Voglhaus last Saturday. Had flat white coffee and tried lemon and apple cake. I loved the lemon cake.

The staff are super friendly, and the place feels warm and cozy. A really lovely spot to relax and enjoy a nice cup of coffee ☕💛

Lovely atmosphere and great concept with an all-Bio menu. The savoury breakfast was good and the spreads quite interesting yet tasty! We discovered some new things here. The roasted bread with tomatoes and mozzarella was a little bland and not really beautifully decorated, could’ve used some toppings! Also for coffee and silverware it’s a serf yourself concept, the food is being served by a waitress. I would still recommend!

Vegan and some GF options. My friend had currywurst and thought it was tasty. Another friend, who lives in Konstanz, is a big fan of the coffee here. A favorite stop for vegans.

Honestly one of the best cafes around the world I have visited. Most things are vegan and organic and absolutely delicious, the coffee is really good, there is always lovely music playing, service is kind and super efficient and there are lots of lovely spots to dine in. Either outside and experience the center of constance whilst being here, or find a moment for yourself inside. You can find items for lower prices, little breakfasts and muesli for around 6€ or bigger dishes like curry for 14€. Their store next door is also really cute and has some lovely gifts and homeware items. Recommend this place 10/10.

I honestly don’t understand the overwhelming hype around this café. It seems designed for a young, vegetarian-oriented crowd, with plenty of flashy coffee- and tea-based drinks. But if you care about the basics, it falls flat: the black coffee was well below average, and the service careless. The only thing that really stood out were the cakes – they looked excellent, maybe even the real reason to come here. If you’re after good coffee and attentive service, you’ll likely be disappointed.

Great coffee place with a beautiful design. The place takes a historical building and made a coffee heaven out of it. You can sit indoors, or outdoors, and then have variety of hot and cold drinks, in addition to tasty cakes and food. The outside is perfect for quick chats, and lengthy discussions. There are also takeaways, and they do take card. I drank coffee there, and enjoyed the view. I really like the interior of the place. Nice and cosy. If you like coffee, should be your first choice.

I love the vibes here - cozy warm and chill. A modern take on traditional German cuisine. I ordered a Vegi-Maultaschen with their seasonal Wadfrucht Eistee (forest berry iced tea). The sauce coating the maultaschen wasn't too heavy and was more natural with the addition of tomatoes and peas. The iced tea was also refreshing especially on a warm summer day in Constance.

We we're lucky enough to get the seats by the window on a cold day. It was perfect! We had a cappuccino and a cafe latte, and we shared the dish with lentils and spaetzle. Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was friendly and inviting, we read books while we dried off from the rainy bike ride before going back out in it. I would love to come back here again. The bathrooms are downstairs, clean, and the women's has an interesting door. I wouldn't know about the men's room...

Great location in a great city. The drinks were good and ... you HAVE to see the bathrooms. Overall it's a great concept and perfect place to enjoy a drink in Konstanz. ;-) In my own version of Deutsch: Sehr gut cafe in ein ganz gut Stadt. Der Trinken wah gut und... du mussen die WC sehen! Uberalles es ist ein gut koncept und perfekt platz zu habe ein trink in Konstanz. ;-)

Vogelhaus is SO cute. Sit in the window with a friend on over-sized pillows and watch the passersby. The atmosphere is great, and yes, the bathrooms are sweet. It sounds strange, but it is true.

This is a pretty nice cafe. The prices are OK all things considering, but what I really enjoyed was my coffee and the decor. It's very creatively laid out to maximize space and make it feel cozy. I feel like a lot of places in Konstanz fall short, but this one is on par with what I would expect a big city cafe to be like. A+
