This hotel is doing everything for their guests to provide them a very pleasant atmosphere. It is also close to the beaches of the Rhine where the locals go swimming and it has an excellent breakfast with fresh local produce. You can even order pancakes without extra charge. It provides the NZZ and the NYT in the lounge plus some nice giveaways in their rooms. I will definitely stay here again.

The staff are genuinely committed to the comfort of their guests. Central location, well connected to tram stops and bus stops with the river just behind that makes for excellent evening walks. The food is yum too, be it breakfast, customized meals or the coffee. In all had a memorable stay!! Keep up the good work :-)

Good location. Great rooms. Breakfast absolutely fine. Friendly staff at reception. Free bike borrowing if that is your thing. Don't really have anything overly critical that we could say about this one. Perfect for business. Perhaps a little impersonal if you came for a city break. To be fair the city isn't much of a city break place.

Great Rhine river view from 3rd floor. generous breakfast including fresh fruits & berries. Also delicious French toast upon request! Great park along the river for walking. Tram stop in front of hotel - 10 minutes to Barfüsserplatz (public transport included)

Lovely friendly hotel, conveniently located. There is free cake and nice coffee freely available| Rooms are comfy and quiet. Good facilities including free wifi. Would recommend. As with other Basel hotels you can use a Basel pass for public transport for free on your stay.

One of the good hotels that I have experienced. Good bedding as they advertise on their website. Service personnel & Reception team were kind and helpful. Breakfast is good with a wide selection and personalized main dishes. And what is more positive is that you can grab coffee, tea, fruits & cakes free of charge anytime in the lobby. Location wise, it is a great place since the tram stop is right in front of the hotel and the hotel provides you with a Basel Card for touring Basel. A minor negative: Electric switches in the room. They are a bit weird to operate. Maybe I'm not familiar with the Swiss way of operating electric switches. Staff: 10/10 Room: 9/10 Location: 10/10 Breakfast: 9/10 Cleanliness: 11/10

The staff was extremely helpful. We went to an event where 8,000 people came from 80 different cities around the world, and we finished the first day late so theirs restaurant was already closed but they made us grilled sandwiches. So very much appreciated, they made our stay very comfortable. Oh, and they gave us a piece of biscuit each day on our pillows :D

As always, a perfect place to visit Basel.|The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet covers all wishes for cold as well as warm dishes.|Possibility to park the car in the hotel's underground car park.|You don't need a car to see all the viewpoints in the Basel area.|Public transport is free and starts right next to the hotel.
