This is an ideal hotel in Basel because it is located in the riverside and the surrounding areas are very relaxing (and the sunset just beautiful). ||Rooms are well soundproof and, ar least in mi case, with nice views. I loved the individual room, with perfect size and design to feel comfortable.||All the hotel staff was very friendly, breakfast is nice and I appreciated having fruit, cakes and coffe available at any time in a really welcoming reception area.||Well connected with many places in Basel, too.||I totally recommend and I would repeat if back in Basel.

... staying at DASBREIT HOTEL in Basel, CH for the big 100 Year Birthday Bash for the late, great Jean Tinguely just a 5 minute walk across the bridge at the Tinguely Museum... anyway... the DASBREIT HOTEL Staff are all mega-friendly & helpful... clean rooms... a nice hot bath... fluffy towels & pillows... groovy, stylee lamps... nice view overlooking the river... I'd come again in a heartbeat !!!

I can’t understand how this hotel is ranked 4 in Basel? The rooms are airless, hotboxes . There is no air conditioning and no ability to open a window. The feel of the place is institutional and drab, like its university accommodation. Everything was spotlessly clean which was a positive. Service was polite and perfunctory.

Recomended for holidays or business trip. Comfortable rooms and super kind team. The room and services are really clean and hygenic, also t'he towels and sheets. Free coffee, fruit and snacks in the arrival and during the stay. A pleasant experience.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was kind and always ready to address our needs. The breakfast was rich and we had free snacks and teas during the day if we wanted too. The room was cosy and clean. Thank you to the Dasbreitehotel for make sure that everything was perfect. We will come back soon.

Staff are amazing and lovely and very helpful ! They helped us to take trums ! They told us which restaurants to go and try and which not ! Everyday they clean the room with not even telling them ! That is amazing for us especially having a baby with us !! Toilets are awesome !

I stayed one night for work. Hotel with parking. It offers many services and conventions to visit the city. The rooms are spacious and well furnished, too bad there is a bathtub and not a shower. The mattresses are too soft but it’s a subjective thing. The staff is really friendly and helpful. You can take several snacks and drinks during the day. Service really good.

There is so much to like about this hotel. It's just outside the city centre but the tram stop is outside and it takes about 6-8 minutes to get into the shopping area. The staff are so friendly and helpful as well as being attentive during breakfast and check-in. The rooms are large and comfortable with everything you need (including enough, robust, coat hangers!). The bed is comfortable and, when I asked for another pillow, it was provided quickly. My European travel adaptor didn't work but I was able to borrow one from reception for the duration of my stay. | Breakfast is delicious and it's constantly replenished. There are cakes, pastries and hot drinks available in the afternoon and evening. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you.
