DA.SI.MAR Shawarma

4.5/5 ⭐️ Decided to pop into DA.SI.MAR Shawarma today on my lunch break and I’m so glad I did. What I ordered: ✖️ Mixed Arab plate (beef & chicken) 🥩🍗 The food was so tasty — super flavourful, well-seasoned, and very satisfying for a lunch portion. Everything tasted fresh and clearly made with care. Prices felt very reasonable for the quality and amount of food. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I also really appreciated how clean the space was — counters and floors were spotless, which always makes a difference. The only small downside was I didn’t see any knives where the cutlery was — but that might just be because it’s downtown Toronto and they’re kept behind the counter for safety 🤷🏽‍♀️ Bonus moment: the lady in front of me ordered a chicken shawarma wrap and lentil soup, and honestly… it looked bomb 🤤 Definitely ordering that combo next time. Quick, delicious, clean, and great service — would definitely come here again. 🥙✨

This establishment truly delivers a remarkable dining experience! I recently enjoyed the 10 Skewers Shish Taouk Family Tray, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The tender, marinated chicken and beef skewers were grilled to perfection, bursting with flavor and accompanied by fluffy rice, crispy fries, and a fresh salad that added a wonderful crunch to the meal. We ordered Family plate with Arabic mix flavor 😋 The food was, of course, great. But not only food but also service was great too! It's already my second time and I am sure this place will be my all time favorite 😍 If u r gathering with friends, this place is the one to order! Share food share love! Yummy!!! Plus the amount of food was amazingggg!!! Full of stomach with happiness 😊

My boyfriend and I came just after 1 pm and we were greeted very warmly. I ordered the beef kebab plate and not only was it delicious it also was a good amount of food for the price point. The atmosphere was lovely and the hummus was tasty. Overall I would highly recommend visiting this place.

Da.Si.Mar Shawarma has delicious shawarmas, great value and excellent service. The chicken shawarma I got was well made, generously portioned and surprisingly quick. At only $11 their wrap is a steal, with a good amount of protein and veggies. The service is fast and friendly. There’s plenty of space and an accessible bathroom as well. I’ll definitely visit again.

I am SO glad I came in here. I was craving Shawarma on Xmas Eve (tonight) and I walked by this brightly lit place. I was greeted by a very friendly guy with a great smile, paid for my order, then proceeded to let the other very nice guy know what I wanted on my mixed (beef and chicken) wrap... Omg for the price you get ALOT of food and they grill it perfectly... It's bigger than my head! The place was so clean and the 3 men were so nice. I will be returning here again! Merry Christmas ☺️

Sometimes, the best meals is when you stumble across a random restaurant on your way to something. My first time to try a Syrian kebab and look at that portion!! The hummus was soooo sooo good. I literally could not finish it I had to pack some to go. The place was really clean, and the service was really good. Big shoutout to Mohammed who helped me decide on what sides to put and packing my order. Give this place a try!! You will not regret it.

Yesterday I went to Da.Si.Mar for the first time. It was my birthday and I wanted to try this restaurant because I love Syrian food. The family that owns this restaurant is extremely friendly and accommodating. When they found out it was my birthday, they brought my meal with birthday candles and deco. They also played lovely music and sang happy birthday to me. I was stunned and absolutely thrilled! The food is absolutely delicious! Me and my party tried the lamb, beef skewers, and falafel. The prices are fantastic for how much food you get and the quality of it. We will definitely be back regularly and highly recommend that you try their food.
