We recently visited Daubner Cukrászda, and I have to say, the cakes were the best I have ever tried also We tried some ice cream, and every single item was absolutely delicious. The quality and flavor were exceptional, making it well worth the trip. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

See a lot of complains regarding service, but since it's the only place where I got local desserts I actually liked the taste of, I have to admit it's worth a ride from the city centre at least once. Quite a lot was available even in the evening and the queue, however long, moved pretty fast. One thing you have to consider though: they don't seem to like plastic in Budapest, so your cakes will be stacked one on top of another and only wrapped in paper. Take some kind of container with you if you have a long ride back ahead.

Always a long queue in that place. They should make the serving somehow simpler (I'm not sure how, but where there is a will there's a way). They have nothing at all sugar free product (people who have diabetes). I think it would be a nice gesture to have one cake on the menu for them. Anyway, the quality is exceptional, but I think it needs some improvement here and there, hence is only 4 stars.

We ordered birds milk cake, chocolate and coconut cake and both were amazing. With high reviews and ratings here, they sure do live up to their excellent reputation. Their cakes taste delicious, and you can tell that they used fresh ingredients. It was an overall pleasant experience trying their cakes as it’s our first time in Budapest!

What can I say, it's an incredible bakery with amazing and unique cakes to Hungary. The variety they had was overwhelming, you could've spent several days, and you would still not be done trying all the cakes. Everything went very fast when you were ordering, they also had a lot of different flavours of ice creams. We got Pogácsa and a few different slices of cake and the cakes were very light and super tasty and the Pogcása were the star of the show. It is a bit outside, but it was a smooth ride to get there. Make sure to go here to get some pastries and cakes while in Budapest.

Treated myself with Raspberry Omlett and Raspberry Bird's Milk Cake. Usually not so impressed with local sweets in Hungary, but this century-old confectionary might just be an exception. Can't say I totally loved the two desserts, but this is the taste I can enjoy and appreciate. Also not very sweet.

I gave this 1 star for the attitude of the manager, who was a total dusch on January seventh at 12,15pm. Also, I have been the for the fourth time to get the sajtos rolo. I got there 15 minutes after opening. I was told, I have to go there earlier next time, because they're already sold out. How can they possibly be sold out in 15 minutes, when hardly any ppl was in the store, shopping. Ridiculous
