Davao Riverfront Crocodile Park & Zoo

OK it's not the best or biggest zoo in the world.. But it is the only one in the area so at least for kids they get a chance to see animals they may other wise not see. Entrance is high... Well it has to be.. Just the large tiger must cost a fortune in food and upkeep. So let's not complain about the cost. It fun the kids but make sure you time you visit with one of the shows as I believe they are only twice a day and not to be missed if it's your first time. Food to by us outside the zoo but you can go in and out. Toilets are now good with a new set in 2026. Overall a good experience when combined with the shows.... Fish and ostrich feeding...

We visited the park midday on a weekday as part of a city tour. There weren't many people, which made for a very easy and relaxed look around. ​The park offers a respectable assortment of animals, including crocodiles (of course), tigers, zebras, and various birds/raptors and other reptiles. Since I'd never seen a crocodile before, that's where I spent most of my time—it was genuinely intriguing. ​My key takeaway: If you are in the area and contemplating a visit, I advise checking recent reviews from others first. The current standard adult rate of ₱450 (Philippine Pesos) is something you should consider against the scope of the zoo before making your decision. ​Note: the entry stamp they use took several days to completely wash off!

Davao Riverfront Crocodile Park & Zoo is a fun and enjoyable place to visit with family and friends. The animals are well taken care of, and the park offers a good variety of attractions that both kids and adults will appreciate. It’s clean, well-maintained, and definitely worth experiencing when in Davao. The only downside is that the entrance fee and some activities feel a little bit pricey. Overall, still a great place to spend a day and create lasting memories.

This was an unexpected but enjoyable trip with the kids. We only got 4 hours in Davao, we went here for just an hour. Sadly we were not able to catch up with the show. Still, the kids enjoyed it so much. Our tour guide in the park was truly helpful.

It is outrageous, they have no clue what they are doing! The animals are not allright, they have to small cages, everything is made out of concreet. If you think this is how a zoo should be, it is not! You should treat the animals with care. The orangutang was so bored he spitted at me, the tiger is so sad you can see it and the crocodiles are way to many in one enclosure. What a terrible experience being here.

Definitely a must-visit in Davao – and worth coming back to!

Davao Crocodile Park is a fantastic place to visit, especially for families and kids! While the name suggests it’s all about crocodiles, the park actually features a wide variety of animals. Beyond the impressive crocodiles, you’ll find different species of birds, turtles, a fascinating orangutan, as well as majestic tigers and lions. It’s both educational and entertaining, making it very child-friendly with plenty of opportunities for little ones to learn and explore safely. Plus, there’s a nice souvenir shop where you can grab memorable keepsakes. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Davao!

I imagine it must be stressful for the tigers to have the audience walking on top of their very little cage. In general the animals have little space. I'm shocked about the audience's behaviour, slamming on cages and shouting to get the animals attention.

Truly awful place that takes awful care of its animals. A baby croc had its mouth taped open for pictures, three tigers were in cages barely large enough to walk around (behind a much larger and half decent enclosure) and a lioness with a large scab/injury on her ear. The lions, too, had far less room than healthy. Even the koi fish had sores and gross, bubbly cuts on their headsz Save your money, dont contribute to the abuse here. The farmed crocodiles were treated better than the zoo animals. (Not to mention the other guests, spitting at koi fish, jumping on top of enclosures, mocking an orangutan) Ive been to a at least a dozen zoos spanning three continents, this was by far the worst and most inhumane.

I recommended going especially if you have kids and they like animals. It's like any other zoo with many animals but, I do agree with the past review that the enclosures are small. It's not like the experience won't be worth it since there's also other activities that my family and I didn't try but, we were able to do a picture with the snake and baby crocodile. We also went to the butterfly house that was nearby. 10/10 experience for my family and I.

I went here with my family along with some of my siblings, nieces and nephews. We went to look at the different animals and I love how the park has a lot of animals in there. You can feed the lion, the crocodile and some birds. You also can get up close with the ostriches as well as get near the monkeys. The shows are also entertaining. There is a comfort room always nearby and they sell great food too! I recommend this place if you want a great family time.
