Dave Parker Eco Lodge

I am very happy with our stay at Dave Parker Lodge. It is very basic and quaint but the surroundings and views are just breathtaking! The host and staff are very friendly and attentive. A quiet and peaceful place but make sure you hire a vehicle as it is no walking distance from anywhere.

Million dollar view. This is a perfect retreat place. The rooms are cozy and comfortable and it felt like home. Lolita and her staff are the loveliest people among already nice Samoan people. The lodge is quite remote, but if you don’t get an own car, the place offers a complimentary shuttle to Apia which is an amazing service. When we had an issue with our Data SIM, Lolita helped us out immediately; calling to the hotline herself and figuring out the problem. The meals are tasty and portions are more than fair. Guard dogs and the cat are lovely pets and it was fun to have them around. Do not forget to visit the waterfall! Thanks to Dave Parker Eco Lodge for making our short trip to Samoa so great!

Only good thing is the view. Daughter of the owner is so rude and mean!! Bugs everywhere in the room. The shower pressure is so low. And getting to the lodge is so scary you need a 4wd at least it’s so inconvenient. STAFF ARE SO RUDE! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The staff absolutely rude and creepy.|Followed me to my room and just lingered there because she thought more uninvited guests were arriving. I think she was the owners daughter. Wouldn’t allow my son to stay with us but she had all her grandchildren there. The shower was HORRIBLE. Bugs everywhere so we stayed only 1 night and left the next day even tho we paid 7 nights. Definitely would NOT recommend

This was our second visit to the lodge and we had such a relaxing break. We noticed even more bird life this time and the view from the restaurant area is the best in Upolu.|All staff very helpful and much of the food is grown locally. Great small pool on site and even better swimming hole in the river nearby (within the wider grounds). Looking forward to our third visit in the future.

We have loved our stay at this hotel. The staff have all been lovely, welcoming and helpful. We paid for breakfast which everyday has been a big meal but very simple. Rooms are huge, often with a double + single beds. A/c available and a pedestal fan in the rooms. We have come in June/July so the fan was all that was required. Small kitchen facilities with microwave, kettle, mini fridge, bowls, plates, cups and cutlery provided. Complimentary tea and coffee. Small clothes like on balcony from room. About a 25min drive into main Apia town which is very manageable if you have hired a car. Plenty of free parking on site. The driveway is definitely steep but very manageable with a car. All round very happy with our stay and would recommend to others!

We had a very good stay. Lolita and her family really looked after us. Amazing view over Apia from the rooms and the deck where you eat your meals. The meals were very good. Breakfast was included and you got to choose (not always the case) and lots of delicious fresh fruit. Evening meal was delicious. The room we were in was basic but actually had everything we needed - fridge, hot shower, tv, kitchenette, peace and quiet. There’s also a pool and a couple of pool tables. Amazing grounds - 100 acres with swimming places. About 10 mins drive to Apia. Great value. Highly recommended.

My stay in Dave Parker Eco Lodge was very nice. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly and helpful. The Location is not the most convenient but the surroundings are stunning and if you need to go to Apia there is a free shuttle daily. It's definitely easier to have your own transport, though. The lodge has a family-like vibe and plenty of products grown on the premises.
