l've eaten here a few times and never had any problems. The restaurant is spacious and clean, with plenty of room to roam about and sit down to enjoy the food and art on the walls. The employees there are friendly and helpful. I usually order the sliders with medium heat, and they hit just right for me. My friend ordered the loaded fries, and while they are rather filling, they were not our favorite on the menu. The chicken did not appear to be properly cooked, and the cheese sauce tasted very salty, she ended up sick after eating it. Aside from that, I'd recommend eating here; just avoid the loaded fries.

Great food before the movies I came to watch a movie at AMC Flushing Meadows and arrived a little early, so I stopped by Dave’s Hot Chicken for a quick bite. The food was excellent—you can choose your spice level from none to very hot. I picked mild and really enjoyed it. The first time I visited, the place was packed, but this Sunday was calmer and still a great experience. I highly recommend Dave’s Hot Chicken if you’re looking for tasty food before or after a movie.

The first time having Dave’s was when it first opened nearby my gym Planet Fitness,Their chicken is well made and it’s very crispy. My experience when I came through was it was packed at the start due to the grand opening but at the end of the night it was worth the wait.The service is pretty good,They get you right away in no time!The quality of the food is off the hook.And this place is definitely a really good one just like QDOBA!

First time visitor after seeing all the buzz about cauliflower 'not' chicken and the mozzerella sticks. The hot cauliflower was truly perfection! I'm so happy that daves is doing what no other chain is doing for vegetarian and non-meat eaters. I really enjoyed the flavor and texture. Well done. The fries are seasoned but very mid The hot mozzerella sticks were very good also. Very similar to chilis mozz sticks, but daves is dry rub seasoning so it different and very flavorful. I think daves is doing big things here and i hope they keep the cauliflower and mozz sticks on the permanent menu and ill be a customer forever! Employees were very friendly and helpful. They all kept introducing themselves by name, which seem like it is probably annoying for them, but they were very friendly. The service was slow (20 min for my order after paying). Prices are fair. Store is large, ample seating, and was clean! Overall well done Daves!

Yummy chicken sliders. I decided to get their two chicken sliders and fries which is a great deal for its price. I tried the medium spicy level and it sure does have a kick to it but I will step up the spice next time. Chicken was very crispy and juicy with their coleslaw and bun. I love the cheese fries. I will get more of them again!!

I changed my score to 5 stars. I got a call from you guys. I talked to Mohammed. I was incorrect about the Millkshake. I was told how there made. It may look like it vanilla but it is chocolate. I never seen a chocolate milkshake be light like that is all. I apologize for that. But I was offered a free meal since I was giving a wrong meal last time. But have to go there. I ordered from here today. I hope it makes up for it.

the chicken is always hot and the fries are always fresh! it was roughly $63 for a box of fries and 10 tenders. the tenders come with a cup of their special sauce, pickles, and toast. their chicken seasoning is a bit on the saltier side so be wary about that. the staff here are always personable and kind! lots of seating and a vibrant environment. you have to drizzle honey on your hot tenders!

Great! Every worker is pretty nice, and there was really quick service as my food came in about 1 minute 30 seconds Food was great I love it I recommend going here! And the one complaint? I'm way too addicted and I also ordered from here a few days earlier and it was fast good and al that! And the strawberry lemonade is literally the taste of heaven like 5 tenders and fries plus strawberry lemonade is heavenly! And forgot to mention it's halal I'm Muslim and all this is halal so yeah it's amazing you should try it yourself!

My son LOVE fries, so we are in a "I want to try all fries, from everywhere" This establishment is very new to our community. We were greeted politely. The service was fast. The place is kept clean. The atmosphere is calm and there's plenty of seating. I recommend this place, if you like spicy food.

We were soooo looking forward to ordering and trying this new place in fresh meadows. Absolute total disappointment.... The sliders are a joke. A piece of chicken the size of one piece of popcorn. It was hidden under a slop of coleslaw. My husband and son thought their food was ok. (They had hot/spicy tender sandwiches with fries). The best part of the whole thing was the vanilla shake with lucky charms in it. This place is absolutely nothing special and for $70 for three measly orders, we will not be returning.

Service and ambiance: When I entered this new location, I was immediately greeted by the workers. The decor is fun. The eating area is very spacious and clean! When we ordered, the cashiers were very kind and helpful on suggesting what items to get. The most popular orders are the number 1 and the number 3. I chose to get the number 3 which I includes one tender and one slider. It also comes with pickles, kale slaw, and fries. Plus, each tender comes with a slice of bread. You can choose to substitute your fries with mac and cheese. Food: This was 5/5!! Tenders and sliders: I totally recommend getting medium (the hot spice level is too spicy). The chicken was so crispy and it was super flavorful without any sauce need. I didn't love it with Dave's sauce but I recommend trying it with honey sauce. Fries: The crinkle cut fries are flavorful like the chicken and crispy. Mac and cheese: yummm The price may seem much, but the portions are pretty big and it was very filling!

Great big juicy chicken tenders. We ordered the 10 tenders, half with no spice for the kids and half mild flavor and they were great. Definitely get the seasoning as it's delicious. I don't have much of a spice tolerance so the mild was perfect for me. It has a strong paprika taste, but there's nothing wrong with that! Comes with a dipping sauce and some pickles. They put white bread at the bottom I think to soak the oil up but you can use it for a sandwich.

I don't care what the reviews say. A company doesn't go, in less that 10 years, from an initial $900 investment, a picnic table and portable fryer in a parking lot (according to their marketing) to 200 locations nationwide attracting a private equity offer rumor of $1 billion dollars to buy the company if they aren't doing something right. With the experience I had it confirms to me that they are. I waited for the hype to die down a bit because waiting in long lines in the freezing cold for fried chicken (or any food hype) isn't my thing. They now have online ordering up and running (I read that you couldn't do that when they first opened) so I looked over their straight forward menu. Chicken tenders are the thing here in various configurations, other locations I saw they offer cauliflower but not here currently. We went with the Slider and Tender combo to check out those configurations. I selected "hot" for both with my order. My partner in crime got extra hot (caution: this is really spicy) on her slider and medium on her tender. Fries for me and I liked that you could sub them out for the mac and cheese, which is creamy and delicious. Getting a vanilla shake with this was the move - it balanced out the spice nicely. First time ordering in the app gave me a free drink with our order - they have unsweetened ice tea and other flavors along with other fountain sodas. The honey (ask for packets with your order), especially on the extra hot, helped balance out the heat even more. The slider (most fast food places would call this a sandwich because of its size, its not small) is nice since it adds slaw to the mix and some spicy mayo sauce. The tenders come with a traditional slice of white bread - even if you don't eat the bread use it to hold the tender because the spicy red coating can make a mess of your fingers. To me, pickles with the bread and chicken make a great bite. If you aren't a spicy fan then I can't really see the appeal in mild or even medium options - its the spicy rub on that fried coating that makes this place so appealing. They use white meat chicken so this isn't the juiciest or most flavorful cut such as chicken thighs or other dark meat options.

4.5 A lot better this time around. We walked in and it was pretty packed. You can smell the spiced chicken and feel the energy of the place. The line moved pretty quickly and looked like my first trip issues were due to opening jitters. The staff, friendly just like the first time. We ordered a Top Loaded Fries and the 2 Tender Meal. The chicken had more taste and wasn't dry like my first visit. The loaded fries weren't bad either. Even though we got it to go and didn't have it for about 12 mins, the fries held up and didn't get too soggy.

Fast ordering on a busy Tuesday night. Customer service was greeted with a smile and sweet service on top of that Inside is really clean and enough seating for daily or individual eating Menu is basic but it's enough food for a regular eater like myself but if you eat you might have to order another tender. Mac n cheese is soft and creamy but pretty good for my taste. The tender are crispy and juicy (way better than raising canes) Even the sauce was better in my opinion or you can use real honey that they have also Milkshakes are available I didn't try but the options looked good then they also have slushies so I really enjoyed my Dave's chicken

Did Dave's just jump to the top of my favorite fast casual fried chicken restaurants? Yup! When I ordered I thought hmm 2 tenders isn't very much. But when I saw them I realized why that's the serving size. They're huge! I ordered the mild and felt like that was the perfect level of spice and flavor for me. The fries are nicely seasoned and the sauce that comes with the chicken is sooo good. Props on the mac & cheese too. A lot of fast food places have flavorless mac & cheese so I appreciated that Dave's was tasty and cheesy. Decor was colorful and eye catching. Dave's blows places like Raising Cane's out of the water. I will absolutely be back!

Grand opening of Dave's Hot Chicken in Fresh Meadow's, line out the door at 12pm, went fast. Staff is very friendly, manager on deck greeting everyone and passing out menus/ answering questions. Small menu, lots of heat choices! Tenders or sliders are your options, they also have a new item, bites. Sides are fries, slaw, or Mac & cheese. I ordered the 2 tenders w/ fries $12.99 (upgraded to cheese fries for $1.50) & a single slider $7.49. I selected medium and hot, the medium was not spicy to me at all (I have a pretty good heat tolerance), hot was a good amount of spice. Good size tender, very crispy and juicy. Fries were basic, the upcharge is not warranted for the amount of tasteless cheese they drizzled on top. I would not recommend the slider, it's just a tender served on a grocery store style bun. The Dave's sauce is ketchup & mayo with a little bit of spice added. Better than Cane's but not worth the hype. Pricey for what you are getting ($23.93 for 2 tenders, 1 slider , & cheese fries). I got my order to go, served like school lunch. I asked the girl to confirm they included my Dave's sauce on the side as requested and she told me if they didn't I can come back! I've been seeing a lot of buzz about this spot and realized one literally just opened three miles from me! Made the trip in the middle of the snow storm to get my hands on some of these tendies. Walked in with the plan to compare with Raising Cane's since it's basically the same concept, but there's literally no comparison. Dave's wins that competition by miles. I got a Dave's #1: Two tendies, fries, bread, pickles. I got one hot, one extra hot. The spice was nice, it wasn't uncomfortable where your mouth is burning off, but my hairline and eyebrows were definitely sweating. Dave's sauce was delicious as well. The standout really had to be the customer service though. I'm curious if they're this good because it's their grand opening or if it'll stay like this. Manager was extremely hands on, visible, and running around doing everything. Employees would stop at the tables to ask if everything was good, and I was able to request some cole slaw which was brought to the table. All the sauces, free. Extra pickles? No charge. Seeing all this "give away" blew my mind, because what big fast food restaurant do we know that brings in billions of dollars a year all around the world, yet they need to nickel and dime their customers for every little thing? Schmickmonalds, I'm looking at you. The only miss for me was that the spice is a dry rub. I prefer more saucy, and this is a THICK dry rub. After I received the kale slaw (so good), I made what was probably the best sandwich: broken up hot tendie, Dave's sauce, pickles, slaw. That's how we do it! Inside was nice, tons of tables, clean, spacious. Welcome to the 'hood, Dave's!

Knew there was a halal Dave's somewhere, just didn't know it was this location. Was pleasantly surprised when confirmed halal. Service is exceptional, the staff are all so friendly & helpful. 3/5 Dave's #1 ($13): 2 chicken tenders, each on a slice of white bread, fries, pickles, sauce 3/5 chicken tenders: these chicken tenders are unlike any I've ever had before. I got lite mild & they're spicy, sweet, bitter, smoky? Seriously wondering what gives the bitter flavor. It'd be so much better w/o the bitterness. It's spiced pretty well otherwise. 3/5 Fries- thick, crinkle-cut, slightly seasoned. Wish they were more heavily seasoned. 3/5 sauce: mix of mayo & ketchup. I personally can't stand mayo, but this sauce is pretty standard, as it's served in most places.

Dave's hot chicken has arrived in town and it is living up to the hype! This casual fast food chain offers chicken in a variety of different degrees of hotness. There are sliders, tenders, and bites. The sliders are really tasty and are topped with Dave's Sauce and some of their kale slaw. The hot bites are a really hearty portion. The place is very casual inside but well decorated and on brand. The service is pretty fast, and they now offer online ordering.

Dave's Hot Chicken is the real deal. I always get the #3 combo in mild, and it's the perfect balance of flavor and heat. The chicken is juicy with a crispy, well-seasoned crust that doesn't overpower. The sliders are massive, the fries are seasoned just right, and everything is consistently fresh. The vibe is casual but efficient--great for a quick, satisfying halal meal that never feels like fast food. Highly recommend if you want bold flavor without burning your mouth off.

This Daves Hot Chicken is surprisingly very large with plenty of space for seating available. I got a large chicken sandwich with fries that were cooked perfectly. The service at this location is also very friendly!

Chicken had great flavor but less moist than Chick-fil-A and Raising Cane's. Service was busy and slower due to mobile and take out orders. Ambiance was cool comparative to Raising Cane's decor and vibes. Hot level chicken was a bit too hot for me but the combo was filling.

This is a hopping place to get some fried chicken strips. They have strips in a sandwich or alone with fries or as a side. They have a couple of sides you can order too - claw, Mac & cheese. If you are into a hot and spicy meal or a mild one, you can regulate the amount of heat! They have water, soda and slushies to complement your food. The food was good but the line to order was long around 7-9pm. 20+ people. Forget about the wait for your food. It was even worst. Mobs of people waiting for their food, hovering near the counter. Hard to find seating too. Gotta be lucky and have patience. You gotta speed up on how you cook and get the food to the people! The place was well decorated! Love the splashes of color all around. The fresh meadow sign as perfect! Worth coming back but you have to improve the service.

This place is worth all the hype it's been getting. The chicken is super crispy and still so juicy on the inside. The cheese fries are delish. Even the fries have their own cajan seasoning on them. Don't worry they're not spicy. The mild slider didn't have much spice at all. I recommend the medium. The inside is literally a piece of art. Such a cool vibe. Everything was super clean from the tables to the bathrooms. Even though they were packed the service was super fast. There is also plenty of space to sit down and eat. I will definitely be going back again soon.

New location located in fresh meadows is really adding a spark to the neighborhood! My daughter and I have been waiting for the grand opening but the dates changed. As I told one of the owners it was well worth the wait. We got to go tonight and there was a long line that at first seems intimidating but we were committed. We were in line for about 15-20min but it didn't feel that long honestly we did review the menu ahead of time so we knew exactly what we wanted when it was our turn. They have plenty of seats that are constantly flipping so if you do want to sit you will get a chance. While waiting in line we admired the art work on the walls and had casual conversation about what level spice we think we can handle. We ordered a #1 two tenders and fries no spice & #2 two sliders and fries mild spice. I also ordered a side of Mac and cheese and two sodas. My total was $45 so I was like this better be worth it & IT WAS!!! We enjoyed every menu item we got the Mac and cheese is good for a fast food place creamy and cheesy. The sliders are a great size the chicken is coming out the sides because it really is tenders on a bun but it was delicious I added cheese to both and the put pickles and a kale slaw on it yum yum yummmmmy! My daughter loved her tenders she wasn't sure about the spice but now she says she will try mild on her next go around it's really not spicy at all but has great flavor. The fries were crispy and seasoned well we can't wait to come back!!!

Ordered 2 tenders with fries, 2 sliders with fries, mac and cheese, vanilla milkshake, and a 10 pc. Dave's Bites for pick-up. It was good. I am glad I tried it, but it wasn't memorable and tasty where I want to go back for another. The food was prepared on time and it was crowded on a Friday night.

An ordering line, almost out the door. Loud club music was piping in through the speakers. Lets get this party started! The decor is cool snazzy looking graffiti art, lining the walls and ceiling. There is quite a lots of tables but all were filled on this crowded opening day. With school let out, lots of them must have ran over here. Menu is short and simple. Tenders or sliders. Then choose your choice of spice. How hot can you take it? Me, I go for mild. The hottest level is called the Reaper! Who out there is brave enough for that? And live to tell about it. My mild slider, still had a nice flavor to it. Comes with pickles and some kale slaw which made a nice accompaniment. Seasoning a bit powdery. It was ok but not an epic rendition. Many other better fried chicken places to try. If you are into fried cauliflower, that have that here too. Coated in their secret selection of spices. The creators of this sandwich, say "this taste will blow your mind. Keep coming back for that addictive, mind-blowing experience". ...You be the judge.

10/5 for service!!! Came here last night to try Dave's for the first time. The line was out the door even in the snow!!! I got the loaded fries with the chicken hot. I normally enjoy spice but the powder used kept flying to the back of my throat and coating it so that made everything a bit overly spicy for me. The customer service was amazing tho. My friend got her food within 5 minutes of ordering. After waiting 10 minutes I went to ask for an update and was told my order had a few more ahead of it. Not surprising as they were packed. The manager found where I was seated and brought over the food for me when it was finally ready!! And then I asked someone for some extra pickles and she gave me an entire container of them!! I don't know that I'd be back so quick for the food but I would like to try the cauliflower

Came here on a Tuesday and there were lots of seats available. The place is pretty clean and workers were friendly. I ordered #2, 2 sliders+fries (switched out fries for Mac and cheese). You can customize the heat level of the tenders, I picked medium and hot and they tasted pretty similar. The seasoning is very flavorful and the tenders are juicy. My partner ordered extra hot and reaper and he said there was a big difference in heat level between the two. Fries were seasoned well and the mac and cheese was good (thick cheese sauce which I prefer). There is a mobile app with rewards program.

I would give Dave's a 4.7 on a scale of quality and taste for fast food restaurants. My gf and I ordered the #3 and #2 with the reaper spice level. This had to be the spiciest thing we've ever eaten, but despite being so hot, it was very flavorful and juicy. The macaroni was okay, but nothing special. It was a little too watery for my liking, but it had some of the spicy seasoning which was good. The fries were crispy and dusted with spice as well, which was incredibly good. I would HIGHLY recommend ordering extra sauce and eating it fresh if possible, because leftover chicken turned pretty bitter and dry.

Be prepared for a wait, which honestly isn't surprising given it's a new location. The service, in the other hand, was disappointingly slow - waiting twenty minutes between ordering and food coming out after 40 minutes on line to order felt like a bit much. The chicken itself was okay - nothing special - and be prepared for the texture of a dry rub heat versus a sauce heat which isn't necessarily something I find enjoyable. The fries were fine, the plain white bread was plain white bread, and the prices weren't unreasonable. The medium wasn't too spicy but just not the right flavor profile for my taste.

I know this place can get busy but it's well worth the visit! Ample space in the parking lot in the back and spacious interior! The two sliders with fries combo was only $15 and enough to feed two people. The medium spice level is not spicy at all so I'll probably try the next spice level next time. The chicken was so juicy and flavorful! The layer of cole slaw added a perfect layer to cut off the oils from the chicken. The crinkle cut fries were simple and crispy. I would highly recommend coming to this spot for a quick easy meal.

Decided to try this place out with my kids to see what the hype is all about. I got here at 11am on a Friday to avoid the long line/ wait, Amy who took my order was very patient, helpful & kind, and the restaurant itself was clean, spacious & all the graffiti inspired artwork looked amazing. I opted for the Dave's #1 (medium) and #3 (mild)- substituted the fries for mac & cheese for 1 of them. Was given a buzzer & waited exactly 10 minutes. Pretty pricey- $30 for 2 meals that doesn't include drinks ($6 (1) tender/ $8 slider). As for the taste, like another Yelper mentioned- the spice they used on the tenders tasted very powdery & also gave it a bitter flavor, which I wasn't a fan of. The (not so) seasoned fries & kale slaw were bland, the bread they use is your typical grocery store white bread & potato bun and the Dave's Sauce is just chipotle mayo. Definitely not worth the hype if you ask me but my kids really enjoyed it so I guess I'll be coming back again...

If you like truly hot chicken, then this is the place for you. However, you need to know that they're hot is like a nuclear holocaust I would recommend that you try the "medium" because that is spicy but you can taste the flavor of the chicken

Ordered thru Ubereats for pick-up and you know it's busy beause our pick up time was 2hrs out lol. I can see why though. This is easily my favorite chicken sandwich out of all chicken sandwich spots. My bf and I ordered the slider and tender combo with cheese fries. Their cheese fries are nothing to write home about. Will probably sub out for a different side next time. The tenders/sliders are massive and still retained its crunch after a long ride home. I got medium and hot, and the hot was way way way way spicier than the medium. I had to give up on half my tender, because it was just too spicy. So will stick to medium from now on. The dave's sauce was pretty good, but the real star was the honey. Im not sure where they get their honey, but its not thick like honey from a bottle, and its not as sweet(?) so it went surprisingly well with the tender. Would recommend trying at least once.

I went here for the first time last week. I've been to the one in California and I would say they are pretty comparable. My sister wanted their fries so I ordered them for her. We got the medium spice level. It was actually pretty good, the sauce and chicken bites on top were delectable. It was just the right amount of spice. The wait time is the only reason I'm docking points. I ordered via mobile and when I went to pick up my order because it said it was ready, I watched the woman at the counter take at least five minutes to pack a small fry with napkins in the bag. I don't know if she was new or if there was just a lot of commotion going on, but the order was done and she was just taking her sweet time. Besides that, the location is really clean.

I visited yesterday for the first time and I was truly impressed. I ordered the meal which consisted of 2 chicken tenders with French fries. The meal also comes with bread and pickles. I've never heard of Dave's Hot Chicken until I've seen this place in the shopping center. The food was well prepared and delicious. I decided to try the chicken with no spice and I enjoyed the meal. The service was pretty good considering that the place was crowded. The restaurant wasn't noisy it was just a lot of people coming to try the new restaurant. I would definitely return to try the different spice levels on the menu because the chicken was very tasty.

This replaced Boston market, a longtime affordable and tasteful local shop at the mall. Had mixed emotions when this opened but they do have good food. Recommend that top loaded fries and slushiest slushies.

I love Dave's Hot Chicken. After trying their location on the UES, I was ecstatic to learn it opened near home. Simple menu, chicken tenders, chicken sliders, fries, and other sides and it's all nicely fried and seasoned. I like that the hot makes me pause between bites to cool my mouth; not a lot of places make their food spicy. Ambiance is simple as well, clean, and organized-- what you'd expect from a new establishment. Service is good when it's not busy. There's a lot of hype since they just opened (I understand) so it'll probably be a long wait during peak eat times for a bit. Luv Dave's Hot Chicken. Mm.

Busy spot at 7:30. Lines move quick. Menu nice a simple chicken tenders or chicken sliders, fries or Mac and cheese. Chicken lightly dusted with spice, very little salt, which I love!!! Fresh. Fries ok, too salty for me, next time I will ask for no salt. Environment open with graffiti type artwork. Free parking!

I ordered the Dave's #1: one medium tender, one hot tender. First thing you notice besides the nice location with ample amounts of seating and unique design as well as the service that was surprisingly great, is the price. $14 (after tax) for two tenders and fries feels egregious, but the tenders are HUGE. They're prepared excellently, hot, fresh, perfectly cooked. I wouldn't say the price feels justified, but the portion is solid. Even though the chicken itself is great - the seasoning is the main thing to discuss. Medium: not really spicy at all (to me), it really just tasted like chili powder, almost like barbecue, not a huge fan. Spicy: a step up, I enjoyed it quite a bit, but it is actually VERY spicy (again, to me). Dave sauce tastes like basic mayo/mustard blend with paprika, fries are run of the mill. I'd come back, but only for a specific craving.

Great new location! Staff is friendly and welcoming in! I am so glad I don't have to travel to Brooklyn or the city for fresh Dave's Hot Chicken anymore. Juicy, crispy, and fresh!

Food 1/5 Service 5/5 Food got the 2 tender meal 1 tender hot it was ok but had a bitter old oil taste and other reaper dnt even bother getting this crap waste of money. Got the bites in mild with fries again tasted bitter and oily. First and last time will b getting this waste of money.

Dave hot chicken tenders are so good out there. I pay myself on my money at the service. When it came to the price is high or low.

The portions are huge and the milkshakes are tasty. If you like spice, order up a level spicier than you think you'll want. I hope we get one closer to us soon - I'd go again!

Cashiers couldn't be nicer or more helpful. I got a tender and and slider with fries and a small drink for $18. Not cheap but it was tasty. Chicken seems to be cooked to order as they give you a buzzer and it takes a few minutes to come out. I got medium spice on the chicken it was flavorful but not painful. Not a regular stop for me as the menu is pretty much riffs off Nashville hot chicken but I will be back.

Came here for the first time and the girl I ordered my food with was SOOOO NICEEEE her name was Dani (not sure if I spelt her name right) but she was incredibly sweet and recommended a fire orange drink. Would come back cause her customer service was on point!
