Davey's Delicious Bagels

The bagel was delicious. I got an everything bagel with chive and onion cream cheese. There were so many options. They also have some lox options. They have a ton of coffee options. They have half and half, whole, skim, almond and oat. Their menu is huge. The music is great. They have regulars in just a few minutes of me being there, which shows their service is great.

This place was truly wonderful to work with for catering our staff holiday party. Communication was clear and friendly, pickup was smooth, and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a variety of steamed bagels, including gluten-free, along with several cream cheese options and a full platter of pastries that quickly became staff favorites. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, affordable, and inclusive of a wide range of dietary needs and preferences. We’re so grateful and would happily order again.

From the moment you walk in, Daveys delights all of your senses. With the music, the fantastic art, the sweet aroma of coffee and fresh bagels, and a team that gives each and every customer a warm welcome as they walk through the door, you really don’t have a problem with getting comfortable and feeling like you’re at home. I ordered The Guapo and a mocha, and before I knew it my plate was empty. If you’re looking for great accommodations and good eats, you’ve come to the right place!

This place is AWESOME! What makes a restaurant special? Well, you have to have awesome food, and they do. The bagel was soft and warm, the avocado was fresh the cream cheese fantastic. There were lots of options and it all sounds delish! The second thing and just as important is the atmosphere and THIS place had atmosphere to boot! It feels like an interactive art installation. The ONLY negative is i live 5 hours north, but you can be sure whenever I'm visiting Fort Wayne this place will be a must stop. Congrats on such a cool place. Xo

Went in early on a weekday morning and the place already had a steady flow of people. The bagels were fresh and still warm, with a nice chew and good flavor on their own. I ordered a plain bagel with scallion cream cheese and it was spread evenly, not skimpy but not overdone either. Staff was friendly enough and moved the line along without rushing anyone. Seating was a bit tight, but it felt like a normal neighborhood spot. Prices seemed fair for the quality. Overall, it’s a solid bagel shop I’d come back to when I’m nearby, especailly for a quick breakfast.

If you’re in Fort Wayne, don’t miss Davey’s Delicious Bagels! I tried the Big Beef Bandit—a bagel loaded with beef bacon, egg, cheese, avocado, onions, and banana peppers. It was absolutely excellent, with a great size and flavor that made it well worth the cost. The venue itself is a gem. It’s filled with local artwork, including pieces from elementary school students—such a cool touch! There’s even a piano for anyone to play, and plenty of unique seating areas, which makes it feel like a really inviting, creative space. Plus, it’s just a short walk from downtown, so it's easy to get to. Highly recommend stopping by for a bagel and the vibe!

El Guapo was the best bagel of my entire life, and I’ve had many New York bagels. If you are crazy about bagels you need to come here. This place is next level. Shoutout to Davey

My fiancée and I visited Davey’s Delicious Bagels and walked away with mixed feelings. The atmosphere is definitely a highlight—there’s plenty of local art decorating the walls, giving the space a warm and creative vibe. It also looks like they host live music from time to time, though none was playing during our visit. Unfortunately, the pricing really took away from the experience. We paid nearly $30 for two bagel breakfast sandwiches, a 12-ounce orange juice, and a 12-ounce latte, which felt excessive for what we received. On top of that, while the staff did call our name when our food was ready, our drinks were left sitting on the counter unnoticed until we happened to find them ourselves. Overall, while the atmosphere is enjoyable, the high prices and service issues make it hard to justify choosing Davey’s over other cafés that offer better value for a breakfast and coffee.

Davey's has a dive bar vibe with lots of character. Things you should know: I. PARKING You could park in a nearby parking lot, like we did, and pay a slim fee for your time there or you could gamble to find street parking. II. SERVICE Fair. Seems like they serve everything in a to-go fashion ~ tinfoil wrapped. I can see this place having a lot of potential for unique dishware to fit the fun esthetic of the space. Seems like they're sometimes out of menu items and don't always account for high demand products ~ they were out of tomatoes when I asked. III. QUALITY Standard IV. CAPACITY Fair amount of available seating for a weekend late-morning.

Hidden gem of Fort Wayne!! Stumbled upon this place and so glad we did. Great menu options, great quirky interior, great service. Had plenty of options for any dietary restrictions. Will be back whenever traveling to Fort Wayne!

This is a go to spot whenever I'm in Fort Wayne to visit my sister. The bagel sandwiches are solid. I love that they use beef bacon. The steamed bagels are also unique but work really well. This place definitely welcomes the artsy community. They have several pieces of local artist hanging from the wall that appear to be able to purchase. Very low key and eclectic vibes in this places. The service is a little slow and kinda hit or miss on the friendliness, but as long as they keep putting out good product, I won't complain.

This place is delicious, creative and has awesome customer service!! Super aesthetically pleasing, super creative! And love all the artwork! The food is absolutely delicious: ordered the turkey bacon, egg & cheese on an Asiago bagel and iced chai tea and it was sooo good and filling. Customer service was also great! Was warmly greeted when we got there, food and drinks came out in good time and when a big group of customers came In, the owner quickly got up to help his staff! Definitely will be coming back

After multiple visits to Davey's, I have had only stellar experiences. Fun atmosphere, friendly and engaged staff, delicious fare. That's every piece of the puzzle right there folks. If there's a gripe to be had it's the parking, but not much to be done for that. Sort of the trade off to being located in a historic building in this part of town. However, although it's a NBD short walk for me, anyone with limited mobility might find it problematic. If you're in such a situation, you can sometimes secure curbside parking on the street out front. In the end, for me, the delicious and inspired food options, excellent coffee, clean interesting atmosphere & friendly service more than compensate for any other issues.

I've been meaning to stop in here for some time, and I finally managed to get an opportunity today. It has a cool design and coffee shop feel with several very kitchy rooms to hang out in, I saw some of the reviews complaining about service, but it was great service for me, and the bagel was quite tasty (I had the black forest, ham, egg, and cheese on asiago.) they do seem to be store-bought bagels, which is a little bit of a disappointment given the price point, but I'm not mad at it.

My friends and I made an online order. I got two bagels, one for me and my husband. My friend had five bagels. So much was strange. Here we go. - the employees did not start our online order until we got there. We ordered it 10-15 minutes before we got to the building. We ordered to be able to pick up quickly. We had to waited 20 minutes after putting in our order 10-15 minutes before. The line was almost out the door and almost everyone in that line got their food BEFORE us. I am shook. - the people working were very kind and were dancing. It was super sweet. However, they all were SO SLOW. I have never seen a bagel assembled so slowly. We love a good vibe and when it's busy you need that quick pace flow. As a former bartender and barista, you gotta know when to be chill and when to get going. - my friend had to ask for a refund for the Asiago bagels because they said they were out. They refunded her $2 for the four bagels that were supposed to be Asiago. The employee gave us grief about it though. They said they weren't going to refund my friend because they were giving her everything bagels. My friend said online only Asiago was an up charge. The employee went to talk to her manage and then gave us the refund. However, there were three bags of Asiago bagels behind them (see picture attached). They were giving them to people who were coming in and ordering. The bagels though are INCREDIBLE and the environment is so fun. They just need to get their service in a better flow.

I bought a coffee, when I opened it to put milk and sugar, there was a fly in my coffee. I told the lady at the counter. She made me another one but didn't even have the nerve to apologize. Never going back. Thanks.

Its Costco bagels, just to forewarn you. And what i assume is Costco cream cheese in small portion cups, so get more then one. Latte was good. Local art, service was fine. But if you want an actual artisan made bagel go to Shop 260.

Bagels are yummy, but don't go if you're in a hurry on a Saturday morning. 30 minute wait for a toasted bagel with cream cheese. Stand there and watch the staff chat and work at a snails pace while you wait.

Being from the east coast I am a HUGE Bagel / Sandwich Shop guy. This spot was really neat and showcased some local art. I had two separate bagels, one was a toasted sesame with some Jalapeño cream cheese which was absolutely delicious. The other was a craft bagel sandwich thats seemed absolutely loaded. On top of great food and interior decorating the staff was extremely nice and informative. Highly recommend swinging through if you get a chance.

Had a bad experience here. I recently placed an online order for a plain bagel with two different cream cheeses. I paid for it on the online ordering app and all of a sudden I get a text from the owner saying I needed to pay an extra $2 because I "didn't click the right button" to add 2 different flavors of cream cheese. When I went to pick up the bagel, I asked the gal at the register why I had to pay because I was genuinely confused and she didn't know either and had the owner explain again why I had to pay this. Food wasn't great, management obviously isn't great, wouldn't recommend. Worth the $2 for us to never return! :)

Food was salty, not enough protein for the amount of bagel given, egg was nothing special, lox was frozen, sauces were eh, didn't honor my online customization option for a sausage patty on the Roast Beef. Basically just your regular overrated downtown-ish American fare. Honestly didn't put me in a mood to review further, but it's not too bad. The beef bacon was really good, though. Still quite salty but texture-wise, YUM I'm voting for that.

My sweet East Coast Fiancé had been on the search for good bagels. I suggested Davey's because I stopped in once by myself. We had Delicious bagel sandwiches with local ingredients. He said they are not quite like home (NJ) it was still amazing

If you live in FW and haven't been, go immediately. If your visiting FW, go immediately. It's a 10/10 for me. First the bagels, wow! They steam their bagels so the flavors meld together and your mouth doesn't hurt from chewing a crunchy bagel. So many menu options! Vegetarian and pescatarian friendly options! The staff. So welcoming and kind! It def has a small business vibe which I like! The atmosphere. Unique, breathtaking, and memorable! Each room is saturated in beautiful art masterpieces. Photo shoot backdrops for days. They even have games available as well! Such a cool vibe, highly recommend!!

Had to wait 40 minutes to get our food when everyone else got theirs, they definitely forgot my order. I ordered a plain bagel and they gave me half plain and half everything bagel which didn't make any sense when i asked for just plain bagel. when i asked to remake it they thought i wanted an everything bagel and made my order wrong again, and that was already well over an hour of us waiting so i asked for a refund because $30 for two bagels and small drinks was not worth over an hour of my time waiting for our food

We NEVER go on a Saturday but decided to take our out of town guest, today, Saturday. Big mistake. Perhaps under staffed for the amount of patrons, definitely was not organized with the order tickets. Took 48 mins to get our orange juice and over an hour to get our bagel sandwiches, which had to be re-made as they contained either the wrong items or missing items (mistakes are costly for someone with allergies). The bagels are fantastic, but go Mon-Fri. for the best of everything, including service!

Right when you walk in, the workers are friendly! It was super easy to pick from their amazing choices! Definitely coming back again!

What a fabulous visit to "somewhere new"!!! Nick was amazing at helping us this morning. The Asiago Bagel was soooo yummy!!!! My sister Tess and I love that they make their own cream cheese. I had watched a spot on the news about this delightful place. They have amazing rooms to sit down in and enjoy local art which was also recommended by Nick. Thank You Nick!!! Later I visited your website to find most helpful information about places to park... I should have looked ahead of time but at least I will know for future visits.

Cool space, ok coffee but I think the bagels are from Costco vs a freshly made boiled and baked bagel that you expect from a place literally named after this product.

I was really looking forward to having my Loxy Lady on a Everything Bagel or at least a Asiago but instead the put it on a white bagel which was dry and a real let down.

So good!! And a fun environment. We had the double 07 and the big delicious can't wait to go back!

I visited daveys this morning (Saturday). I was in a rush and ordered over the phone. I did this because last time i was there there was a line for online and phone in orders. I was short on time. But, I thought, I could run in grab my bagel make a donation for their free coffee and get on the road. When I arrived there was a line lliterally out the door. No problem, I could grab my order and get to my 1030am meeting. NOPE, they made me get in the standard order line. I told them I didnt have time and that was why I ordered over the phone. The man behind the counter told me they could not process my order and I needed to go to the end of the standard line. I explained I didnt have time foe that. He askwd me never to return again. Their food is great. The way they handle their customers is awful. I will never return.

Such an amazing place. Once you go you want to keep on going back. The staff is beyond amazing. The owner is always very welcoming. Coffee and bagels are outstanding. I love this place It's one of the few places I have a vegan breakfast option. Keep it up you guys are amazing

Great bagel sandwiches! However, service by the female cashier on Saturday morning, 5/20, left us wondering why we drove across town for breakfast. After having placed and paid for the order, my husband asked for his small black coffee. The rude cashier told him to 'give us a minute'. Not sure why a simple order for black coffee and Diet Coke wasn't immediately filled upon payment. I could think of at least 10 better responses that could have been provided, besides the snarky 'give us a minute response'. Please know that while this rudeness was occurring, we were the only customers in the restaurant. A restaurant can have the best food in the world and can even get away with charging a high price. However, when customers receive rude treatment; don't expect them to return!

3 stars because I'm rating ONLY the bagels! Good options and selections. More vegan options might be good for future customers. Me on the other hand, I can make better choices at home, seasoned and toasted just right so I wouldn't be inviting myself back to be patronised by Nick who made things so much worse after having the audacity to be snarky and arrogant after they were almost an hour late with my already pre paid DD order. This guy needs to humble himself in a desert island of businesses.

what a great place! amazing steamed bagels packed with all time favorite or unique tasty fillings sure to leave you satisfied! The espresso drinks were steamy and deliciously real! the atmosphere and vibe of this local staple is diversity, creativity, passion and friendliness. Something to inspire your mind covers every piece of the wall- the section featuring local high school students artwork caught my eye- The staff cares about their product and each guest and if I was a local I would be here every morning! frosting on the cake- it's affordable enough to do that

The lox bagel sandwich was horrible and so disappointing. The bagel was soggy and the whole sandwich fell apart not even halfway before eating it. I approached the staff about this and they just shrugged it off neglecting to address my concerns. Such poor management.

Friendly staff, bagels don't seem to be 'fresh' or local but more store bought. Secondly ordered the 'el guapo' but with an everything bagel, and they messed up and still put and Asiago bagel instead. That was pretty irritating since I got it to go and didn't realize till I got to my destination.

I had the Unu bagel, which was absolutely delicious. Their service was fast and the ladies behind the counter were ever so sweet. They take great care of the interior it's beautiful. It wasn't too busy on a Sunday morning- I was seen maybe 30 seconds after I walked in. The only complaint I have is that it's still listed as west central coffee on Apple Maps, so I looked for the wrong thing for a bit.

Tried taking my fiancé for the first time today & he was excited to try it, we ordered because we had some time to spare before his hair appointment. We were 2 out of the six customers there at the time, and the people who ordered after us got their food before us which we thought maybe they ordered something less complex, but we sat patiently waiting and no one seemed to be making our order so we asked & they never printed off the ticket for our food. So we just wasted 25 min sitting there for not one employee to realize we never got our food, especially since we were seated right in front the register & they looked at us multiple times. Just disappointed & now hungry.
