David Citadel Hotel

We had an amazing experience once again at the David Citadel. Baha and his team were extremely attentive and anticipated our every need without fail. The food was fantastic and the staff was plentiful and couldn’t do enough to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and housekeeping was there to replenish our water bottles and towels without having to even ask. ||The views of the old city from our room were breathtaking. The gym has everything you need no matter what type of workout you prefer. ||The pool was refreshing and perfect for doing laps. ||We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Israel which will hopefully be very soon. It was another amazing experience in Jerusalem at the David citadel.

I spent a week at the Citadel in early June for work. I had an alcove deluxe room on the 1oth floor with an Old City view. The room was spacious and very comfortable and the closet space was great. It was nice to have a sofa and a balcony to sit on after dinner. ||I had breakfast on the terrace facing the Old City most mornings. The breakfast buffet has everything you could possibly want and the omelet station is a really nice addition. Ada is a wonderful waiter and I always make sure to sit in his station. Samir makes really good iced coffee and cappuccino! They make your morning something special. ||We had access to the lounge which was nice to be able to pop into in the afternoon for a snack and something cold to drink. The pool is a nice plus in the warm months and the hotel location is great. It is easy to walk to a lot of places from there. ||All the staff at the Citadel are all very helpful and nice. Check in was seamless and they are very helpful when you need a cab. This was my 6th or 7th time staying there. You can't go wrong by staying at the Citadel.

Great hotel, really made us feel like special guests. Highlight was the breakfast and Said the best waiter in Jerusalem (maybe Israel!). Said made sure to get us anything we wanted and even memorized our drink preferences so he could have it ready for us before we got there. We felt like royalty! Thanks Said!

We celebrated Birthday at the hotel and the welcoming was so warm- What a perfect experience. |Our room was clean & stunning with the most beautiful view. |The service by all staff was excellent.|The food was delicious & the pool was enjoyable. |We will definitely return back ❤️

have not stayed here in over 15 years but the hotel has been upgraded, refreshed. breakfast buffet was plentiful & interesting. overall hotel service was excellent. my room, alcove deluxe old city, was well appointed, clean & modern. housekeeping staff was efficient & there early every single morning. i wud like to single out Yael Kofman, in the call center, for praise. she helped me rearrange my reservation after ElAl changed my flight. she was efficient, followed up with all my requests, made some excellent suggestions & even called me n NJ to ensure that all the new details were correct. very impressive customer service!! i will definitely be back!!

The hospitality professionals here are 1st class and a pleasure to do business with. Yett’s at the desk was impressive and helpful beyond description. A great Ambassador for this delightful hotel! Many others, as well. Naim in valet and concierge is wonderful

Great safe hotel in Jerusalem. Excellent location with walking distance to western wall, Ben Yehuda, mamilla, great synagogue and everything else.|Excellent breakfast buffet and clean and well appointed rooms. Parking is a bit tough but it’s doable.

"I had a fantastic dining experience at Vernda Restaurant Fine Grill! Zayn, our waiter, provided excellent VIP service from start to finish. The starters were delicious, but the real highlight was the Tomahawk steak - cooked to perfection! The cocktails were expertly crafted and the desserts were the perfect way to end the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable dining experience."
