We stayed at the David Citadel Hotel with our family and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel was impeccably clean and beautifully maintained throughout, which immediately set the tone for a relaxing stay.||The food was excellent across the board — high quality, well prepared, and consistently enjoyable at every meal. What truly stood out, however, was the level of service. Every staff member we encountered was professional, attentive, and genuinely warm, always going out of their way to make sure our family was comfortable and well taken care of.||The location is ideal, making it easy to explore Jerusalem while still feeling like a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. We had absolutely no complaints during our stay and would without hesitation choose to stay here again. Highly recommended.

The stay was more than wonderful. I came with my husband and children on a family trip, and the service at the hotel was excellent. I had an issue in the room, and Mr. Nidal from the evening housekeeping service solved the problem and helped me a lot. I would like to thank him.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The room was dirty, the floors were filthy, and housekeeping was clearly neglected. Room service was impossible to reach—after six attempts, someone finally answered and said there was no food available. I then ordered two large buckets of ice. After over an hour and multiple calls, I received a tiny 8oz bucket instead. When I complained, the staff member returned visibly annoyed, didn’t apologize, and said nothing. To make matters worse, the Wi-Fi in the room barely worked, making it impossible to relax or get any work done. This hotel is overpriced for how poorly guests are treated. Bad service, poor cleanliness, unreliable Wi-Fi—never again.

We were fortunate to meet Manuel Arbid, Director of Guest Relations. He was very attentive to our needs and gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. We would highly recommend this establishment. We had excellent service in the lounge and the presentation was beautiful. Thank you Luai Sinora!

I visited the hotel on a business trip, and I was very impressed with the hotel’s service. The staff were extremely cooperative and helpful. I would especially like to mention Nidal and Eyad from the evening housekeeping team, who were very friendly and made my stay comfortable with their excellent service.

For I've of the most expensive and luxurious hotels in Jerusalem, the return on investment is quite appalling... My client's room was flooded in the second day - the shower just drained into the closet, and instead of fixing it immediately, they moved them to another room the following day. No service at the bar or the restaurant, so they had to eat out. In short - avoid if you can and book one of the smaller hotels in the city, even if it involves a few more minutes walk.
