David Citadel Hotel

We just concluded our week-long stay at the David Citadel, and everything was fantastic. The highlight of our experience was the exceptional service. Baha attended to us from check-in to check-out, truly making our visit a 5-star experience. His warm and friendly demeanor, along with his willingness to assist us with everything we needed, left a lasting impression. We will definitely return, thanks to him!

We absolutely loved our stay at the David Citadel. The views are honestly unreal — looking straight out at the Old City never gets old.||The hotel is beautiful and definitely feels luxurious, but what really made the stay was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and seemed to genuinely care about making sure we had everything we needed. Nothing felt forced or scripted — just warm, thoughtful service the whole time.||It was one of those stays where you actually feel taken care of. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

I stayed at the David Citadel for a mix of business and pleasure, and the hotel absolutely lived up to its reputation. The rooms, location, and amenities are excellent, but what truly set this visit apart was the concierge team, especially Ilan.||I’ve stayed in many excellent hotels over the years and have worked with some very good concierges, but Ilan genuinely stands out. He combines warmth, professionalism, and a deep understanding of Jerusalem in a way that elevated my entire stay.||He arranged restaurant reservations that were otherwise impossible to get, organized reliable cars and drivers for both business meetings and touring, and offered thoughtful local guidance that only someone with real experience can provide. When I needed to change rooms due to scheduling, he handled it immediately and smoothly, removing any stress from the situation.||Throughout the visit he checked in just enough to make sure everything was perfect, always in a sincere and unobtrusive way. His attention and care turned a very good stay into an exceptional one.||The David Citadel is a top tier hotel on its own, but Ilan’s concierge service brings it to another level. I highly recommend connecting with him early in your stay.

There is truly no better place in the world! From the incredible hospitality and delicious breakfast to the welcoming service, and comfortable rooms everything was exceptional. The location is perfect—just minutes from the Kotel and across from Mamilla. From the start of our trip to the end, Manuel and the entire staff, including Yardena, were always there to help. When our flight was canceled, they went above and beyond to assist us. The David Citadel has truly become our home away from home, and we can’t wait to return. There is no place we’d rather stay—thank you for an unforgettable experience!!

We were fortunate to meet Manuel Arbid, Director of Guest Relations. He was very attentive to our needs and gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. We would highly recommend this establishment. We had excellent service in the lounge and the presentation was beautiful. Thank you Luai Sinora!

When we cane to the David Citadel one of the highlights was the amazing breakfast (pro tip eat outside over looking the pool and the old city it’s beautiful) Ata, Samer, and Samir are the best they all went above and beyond their service was amazing and made me feel like a king! I loved the hotel and can’t wait to come back for my next vacation.

Breakfast was great mostly due to the service of Said!! The dinning room manager Issa was most helpful The housekeeping was not good. A can of coke and 2 empty bottles of wine were not removed for 6 days.
