David Heusinkveld, MD: MidState Internal Medicine

The best Primary Care Doctor in the World. He has been my doctor for over thirty years on/off (due to changing my insurance companies. Some, his practice did not take.) Luckily, he is my CURRENT primary care physician, and I would recommend Dr. Heuskinkveld to any person. He saved my life thirty years ago when I needed an emergency operation regarding Pericarditis. Thank you sir, once again, for saving my life.

I do not like the receptionist working at the front desk. She is young, rude, and thinks she knows everything about me and as the patient it is infuriating. This practice has good doctors and nurses but it is not very good as far as staffing and they gossip alot.

Dr H is the most thorough, patient, and caring doctor! He has so much knowledge and takes time to make sure his patients understand and have all concerns addressed.

Dr Heusinkveld is the one doctor I trust completely. He is caring, takes as much time as needed with a patient, and is always willing to help. He is a rare find in the world of doctors. I feel so lucky to have him as my physician.

Dr H. is a wonderful, knowledgeable and caring Physician. I have been a patient for 20+ yrs. On the other hand, in the last year or so his ancillary staff leaves much to be desired. Ms. P is her same caring efficient self.But the ever changing others.......Don't know if turnover is high or what the issue is, but hopefully it is noted and corrected soon.

Extremely knowledgeable, kind and caring. I can't imagine a better doctor. He has been my primary care physician for many years. I felt safe and comfortable due to the safety measures in place.
