Kamelhar Pulmonology

I had an appointment yesterday with a doctor, who truly impressed me. Professional, thoroughful and genuinely caring. It’s rare to find someone like that. I felt I was in good hands. Finally!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Kamelhar for many years. I have chronic illnesses in my lungs. He has patiently explained how best to live with my health issues and he is a great diagnostician. I feel secure that he has treated me with the best possible care. I write this to help others feel secure in a decision to have Dr. Kamelhar as your pulmonary Dr. whatever your lung issue may be.

Dr. Kamelhar is an outstanding doctor who takes his patients’ health, concerns, and wellbeing very seriously. After being misdiagnosed by two different doctors over the course of several months, Dr. Kamelhar was able to see me, get me into testing, diagnose and treat me in record time. I am so grateful to him for getting me on the road to recovery so quickly. He is truly an expert and widely known as one of the best for a reason.

Dr. Kamelhar is excellent doctor with so much knowledge, great human being, kind hearted, never rushes you and makes you feel like you are under great care. He is great listener, unbelievable communicator and most importantly very kind to the patient. His diagnostic expertise is super and within 24 hours I feel like a normal person. He truly defines the true meaning of doctor. Thank you so much.

I have been a patient of Dr. K's for almost 25 years. He is the most thorough and competent physician I have ever known. He is a very compassionate person who breaks down ans explains your medical issues in layman's terms and devises an effective treatment plan to get you back on the path to good health. He never rushes and is very generous with his time. I consider myself most fortunate indeed to have Dr. K as my pulmonary specialist!

Staff was friendly and efficient. Doctor took his time to explain everything to me and showed that he cared. Has a straight-to-the-point-slightly-gruff tone about him but it’s more of an old school NY thing than a bedside manner thing. Actually made me nostalgic. Doctor really made me feel like he wanted what was best for me and I appreciated his candor. Funny too. The nurse who did my breathing test was very pleasant and friendly and checked in every step of the way to make sure I was comfortable. I believe her name was Jessica.

Dr. Kamelhar goes well above and beyond for the sake of his patients. He is extremely committed to getting to the bottom of any issue and truly cares. He’s very data-driven and analytical and includes patient self-report as part of that data. He’s reachable and responsive. One can feel very secure that his judgement is backed by both clinical evidence and years of experience. Dr. K is one of the best doctors I have ever had and I am very thankful.

Dr Kamelhar is just amazing in every possible way. He’s clinically brilliant with a wonderful bedside manner. He listens attentively to his patients and genuinely cares about them. He got it right !
