David Kordansky Gallery

We just saw Derek Fordjour’s Nightsong at the David Kordansky Gallery and the exhibition was incredible. It was my first time visiting and the whole experience was inspiring and uplifting. Beautiful space, friendly staff, and I’m already looking forward to the next show.

10/10 The art exhibit was amazing. Layered in culture, music and art. One of the best experiences l've had at an art museum.

I attended an event here. An excellent spot for an art gallery and a magic show. The vibe was very chill, an outdoor bathroom and adult beverages. The crowd was very mixed and within the art world, great for networking and it was an overall excellent experience.

This is a great gallery with an amazing program. The current show is not to be missed.

Really beautiful space inside and out. Top notch gallery that provides ample space to feel free of outside distractions when taking in the artists' work, and they really have a great exhibition program, even during COVID-19!

Derek Fourjour exhibition, totally amazing- go see

Went recently for the David Fordjour show. If you go, be aware it is very stimulating.

I was very close to purchasing a piece from this gallery. The staff was unprofessional, condescending, and lacked customer service. As a result, I revoked my offer. I wrote an email to the owner. Let's see if he cares enough about the reputation of his gallery to respond. One upset person multiplies pretty quickly when companies allow their staff to treat customers poorly.

This is a great gallery! David Kordansky Gallery is an unbelievably beautiful exhibition space. Very large walls, gorgeous concrete floors, abundant natural light streaming in from above and stunning exposed ceiling beams. It's one of the best gallery spaces in LA without question. If you didn't know better, you would think you were in New York. The show we just saw here was Jonas Wood, Interiors & Landscapes (ended on Dec. 16th). It was spectacular!!! Jonas Wood, an artist that I've appreciate for years has really hit his stride with this show in this amazing space. These paintings were amazing to see up close and in person. It was a complete thrill to be there. The receptionist at the front desk was super nice. She was kind enough to show us all of the great books they had available of his works and info on the paintings in the show. She couldn't have been nicer. We bought one of the show posters and it's at the framer right now. Can't wait to hang it! We also bought Clippings, his new book. Amazing work! I wish we could have been at Karma a few weeks ago to get it signed in person. We love Jonas Wood's work and it's fantastic he's in the Kordansky stable of artists. We're really looking forward to seeing what he comes up with next. We'll absolutely be there for the next show. I wish we could have run into Jonas while we were there but weren't lucky that trip I guess. Maybe next time.

This is the kind of gallery for people who have lots of money but zero taste. Art is a very subjective thing but this is one of those galleries filled with "ideas" executed with little to no skill. The space is nice and large they should really fill it with something beautiful not "investment" pieces so desperate to seem relevant and hip that they forget the first rule which is that art should move you.

One star, wish I could rate zero. The two times I've been here I've been treated very rudely. Everyone should be treated with kindness, but you would think they'd at least be more friendly to collectors and potential clients. Exhibitions meh.
