"First founded in Memphis and later opening a second location in Nashville, David Lusk Gallery represents contemporary artists working in the Southeastern US and beyond. Lusk’s goals in starting the gallery were easy: “1. Have a good time representing a small crowd of talented artists, and 2. Expose clients well beyond mid-south borders to the artworks their artists create.” Once you take a stroll through their space, you can feel that they’ve done just that. Because new shows go up every five weeks, you can count on there always being something fresh." - Platoon

DLG never disappoints. I can’t think of a single time I’ve been to the gallery that I’ve not left completely invigorated by what I saw. David has been in the game a long time and it shows. His team is a class act, always helpful and ready to show you work from the racks. This gallery is a Nashville gem. Pics from a recent Bill Killebrew show.

DLG is one of Nashville's leaders in contemporary art. The space can accommodate exceptionally large paintings and sculpture. The gallery has the feel of a blue chip fixture in a major art city like Miami and NYC.

Yelp
This gallery is a must see. It's got NYC taste and feel, with southern warmth. My art works friend moved from NYC to Nashville. We are alumn of the Skowhegan Program.
We spent the most time at this gallery, and had the most satisfaction venturing here. It was inspirational from an artist's point of view. The gallery owner w said hello. That was nice!

Yelp
Thanks for your generous time today Greg - I was able to turn this dirty painting into a beaut with your tips! I can't wait to visit the gallery.

Yelp
We visited the David Lusk Gallery during the Wedgwood-Houston Art Crawl this past weekend, and I was really impressed by the gallery offerings. In particular, I was impressed by an exhibition of Rob Matthews' work (an artist that works locally). I highly recommend checking out the David Lusk Gallery if you're into art galleries generally or during the next Wedgewood-Houston Art Crawl if you're just getting your feet wet in the art gallery world (like us). A very interesting gallery!

Yelp
The DLG is well known in Memphis, so I wanted to check out the Nashville space while I was in town.
The gallery is small but welcoming and I really enjoyed the works on view:
* fragments and a game of chance X KJ Schumacher
* FICTIONAL SPACES X Nora Sturges
You should definitely stop in for a visit and also see the pieces next door in Zeitgeist Gallery!

Yelp
Lovely experience with young lady there to help visitors/buyers. The current exhibit, HEM, by local artist Emily Leonard, continues to show her developing, and. consistently. beautiful pieces focusing on nature. I met David Lusk on my second recent visit, & found him honest and genial. Give yourself a treat. Visit HEM in July and perhaps a fresh baked good from 12Dozen Bakery right next door, complete with shady patio umbrellas and tables.
