I know this place has realllly good reviews all over the internet, so I don't know why my experience was so bad.
First off though, everyone is so nice there. I'm not giving them a one because there is a mean one among them, for sure. They couldn't have been nicer to me.
It was the quality of work, compared with their prices. First, I went in needing really simple highlights. Just the same ones I've been having for years, definitely nothing fancy. Blond highlights on light brown hair is all.
First off, they took over four hours to do them. It seemed like they were too busy and not really paying attention. So by the time I was done, I just wanted out of there so didn't pay close attention to how they looked.
But when I got home and looked in the mirror, my roots were orange. I started crying and called them back for help. Since I had a haircut appointment in two days, they told me to just come back then and get it fixed.
So, I walked in and yes, they all agreed my hair indeed was orange. But first it had to get my haircut then they could fix the damage. So, the haircut cost 135 euros and they barely trimmed my hair. I asked to cut off the damaged ends so I could continue growing it, but she just lightly trimmed it, with absolutely nothing I couldn't do myself.
But the real reason I am giving it a one star is that then I went back to get my highlights fixed. Holy cow. It took them two hours to "fix" them, but when she washed my hair it was still orange. I started crying in the salon. The girl blow drying my hair looked horrified. And pointed out more and more orange spots. So I went back under for MORE. By this time I was a wreck. Another two hours and damage to my hair. When we went back, there was still an obvious orange and my beautiful hair was an awful platinum color. By that point though, I was drained. I was also convinced they just don't know what they are doing. Why would my hair still be orange after three attempts?
After I was sure yet would give me a new haircut, since my hair was beyond damaged now. But no, they just charged me 135 for the cut and 190 for the highlights. They actually tried to charge me another 100 for the correction, but James the receptionist talked them out of that :-(
It's really hard, because they are the NICEST people. I still tipped them like a chump, because of their kindness. I just don't think they know what they are doing, which believe me I know is contrary to all the other reviews. I don't know. I feel so embarrassed that it cost so much and is so terrible.
