What the Arch is to St Louis, the columns are to Columbia. With a large open field, the quad is a great place for photos and people watching. It's flanked by historic buildings, including the beautiful Jesse Hall where you'll see beautiful stained glass windows and Thomas Jefferson's original headstone.

Went to visit original grave stone of Thomas Jefferson. It was located in the center of campus. You have to walk to get there. Finding parking difficult. Once I found it, it was interesting!

I have a MIZZOU college grad! This location on campus is very picturesque! I probably fell in love with the campus quicker than my student did! It was a beautiful graduation weekend and it’s best to see this location at night IMO

A mellow, collegiate lab lunch pad for relaxation. The Quad is a gorgeous, historic, and welcoming arena on the MU campus where you’ll often find me sprawled out with a good book or catching up on assignments

One of the most beautiful university scenes ANYWHERE in the world. A classic. Be sure to check out one of the newer features, the bronze Thomas Jefferson, along with his original obelisk-shaped grave-marker, on the East side of the quadrangle.

Talk about some history here. You run through towards the school on your first day of freshman year. And you runaway out towards the world on your last day. The atmosphere is just wonderful people lounging, people studying, people playing pick up games of football, and some people just playing catch. This is one of my favorite spots on campus.
