David Richard Gallery

I've been a fan of the great shows at David Richard gallery for years starting in Santa Fe. Their shows and selection of art are museum worthy and a real treat for serious art lovers. As a painter I truly admire their taste and commitment to the art from. Most recent shows for Thornton Willis and Ronald Davis exemplify a true devotion to painting. I myself am an artist and in 2021 I am happy to report I had my first NY one man show in their gallery. The show was a success in both garnering public and industry attention also great sales. I am happy to be working with David Richard Gallery and look forward to our future.

David and Richard run a great gallery! The work they show is of the highest quality and they are not afraid to take a chance on a potentially great emerging artist while showcasing more acclaimed artists. They are two of the hardest working people in the business who work tirelessly and ethically to get great work into the world and keep artists doing what they do best: creating.

Artist was offered a New Mexico contract, with arbitration only. No consignment given, and refused to account for paintings taken. Forced to withdraw the artist, works withdrawn. (Hopefully, all of them.) Sad thing is, David actually appreciates older, perhaps overlooked artists. (Also, please note many reviewers for the gallery have one review. One. All four stars. I am an amateur art collector living in the UK. I enjoy the work of most of the artists whose work is exhibited in the David Richard Gallery and have bought several pieces in the last few years. David Eichholtz has been unfailingly courteous, helpful and efficient in handling my enquiries, purchases and practicalities concerning shipping to my home in the UK. He gives good, sound advice at all times. I have learned a lot from him. In short, I have thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated my dealings with the gallery and would recommend it to anybody.

I first visited David Richard Gallery in its Santa Fe space back in 2012. I've loved keeping up with their artists' work, which is consistently the most exciting geometric and minimal painting being created today.

David Richard Gallery exhibits the work of varied and excellent contemporary abstract artists. The gallerists are helpful , well-informed and happy to talk with visitors about the work on view.

The gallery has a strong program focused primarily on abstract painting - from the geometric abstraction of Ron Davis to the signature-gestures of Stephen Pusey.

One of my favorite NYC Galleries. I love the work of the artists showing at the gallery. I hope to show David my work someday.
