David's Hotpot

We went there on Monday night for our work colleague farewell dinner. It was a good setting and a quiet venue. So, it's easy to chat and we sat very comfortably. The food was great. We ordered 2 flavored soup - mushrooms and another one with spicy flavor. The service was friendly and professional - 5 stars service. The price was reasonable. The location is right opposite to Melbourne Central Station.

The hotpot here is absolutely delicious! The broth is rich and flavorful, and the ingredients are fresh. The staff are very friendly and provide excellent service, always making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic and tasty hotpot

We went there to celebrate a good news, the broth was so gooooood. The meat is fresh, i love the taro dessert perfect pair to spicy, we tried the bullfrog. Lots of sauce, noodles, veggies to pick, they don't have cheese balls but its fine. Atmosphere 100% you can yap. Location is Behind Fancy Life.

This my second time trying this place. The soup is very good, restaurant's decoration is nice, staffs are friendly, a bit pricey but overall is good. Located in central CBD so very convenient.

Loved the experience sure got my money’s worth. Loved half pot and surely enjoyed every bit of it.

Tried David’s Hotpot for the first time in Melbourne. The food was decent, with the base soup being the highlight—flavourful and well-balanced. The place was packed even on a Wednesday evening, which speaks to its popularity. The ambience was good, and the staff was friendly. Overall, a decent hotpot experience, though not exceptional. Worth a visit if you’re in the mood for hotpot!

Food was really tasty, they have four different kind of sauce you can select as your choice. It was too spicy to me but tasty. Can manage. Food were very fresh it’s no doubt. Place clean and crowded but it’s no problem to us as the place arranged with a large space. Same places in Melbourne have space problem, it’s not here. Specially the staff very attentive and friendly. You can select many kind of food upon your request . Highly recommend the place.

Delicious hot pot in Melbourne, excellent presentation. Very packed during peak times. Price slightly on the high side, but worth it, food is amazing! Very authentic!

The "seasonal special" popcorn chicken was just awful. It was $5.80 so I should've know better. It was waaaay worse than the chicken you get from McNuggets. Didn't taste aaaaanything like chicken. How could anyone in good conscience serve that abomination and call it chicken?? I had late night food cravings - the chicken was so bad I stopped into a kebab place to redeem the night.

Decent hot pot place! You go and choose your items from the fridge, and they throw it into a soup base for you. Word of warning - the spiciness scale here is spicy, so go at least one or two less in terms of chilli level than you would normally. Pricing was OK, and the quality was OK - the seafood was mostly frozen and not the highest quality, but acceptable.

This is a 100% Chinese hotpot restaurant,we haven't seen one word in English,and white people in restaurant, a little bite funny...but the staff was authentic, it's exactly like what we had in China.the service was ok, and portion was huge!!Must try the beef!!!

there was a weird aroma when we walked in from the cart near the door, hostess was kind of rude even though we walked in with smiles and greeted HER, got sat in 15 minutes even though no one was there, sat for another 15 minutes without being greeted by any server, had to flag one down, the broths were flavorless, lots of younger crowd came in and seemed to get better service than us, we are a family and im in my 20s. Idk.. i wouldnt recommend it, pricey too for just not a good experience.
