I think Gordon Ramsey would give this place a 5/5 all the food tastes fresh. Service was amazing and the place is very one of a kind. I got the jalapeno burger and it was mouth watering I wanted more even with how full I was. I definitely recommend going at happy hour or lunch time. Place is a little pricey but once you put the food in your mouth you understand why. Thank you so much we will definitely be back.

We took my mom here when she came from Florida and we all had a great time! Our server was the absolute sweetest and the food was wonderful. I love that they have steak bites on the kids menu vs places with the typical, basic items!

Second visit today. We went for the Tuscan cod over orzo that we saw on a FB ad. Husband had a Regular Old Fashioned with bullet bourbon. He would give it 10 stars. They use premium cherries not the kind you get on an ice cream Sunday and the perfect amount of orange peel. He had a second special smoked Old Fashioned that was good, too. We started with loaded potato wedges that were great. The portion size was huge even for an appetizer. The jalapeño was a nice addition. We upgraded the salad to the BLT which has a really nice taste for something so simple. Croutons were tasty. The cod was perfectly prepared and the pasta was perfectly prepared. Flavors were good. We had to add salt but that’s getting to be the norm for restaurants. We recommend.

From the moment we walked in till the moment we walked out we was treated wonderful. A quick table with food that didn’t take forever. When I tell you I had the best steak I’ve ever eaten in my life I mean it. My kiddo was able to sit comfortably with me and was greeted and treated so wonderfully I couldn’t be anymore pleased with the food, service, and the cleanliness of this establishment. We will 100% be back

What a great experience! First off it's everything Lazlos wasn't. The only thing similar is it shares the former restaurant's space but the place was packed and the atmosphere was great. David himself was present working the room and making sure everyone's night was perfect and friendly. I ordered the pretzel and lawdy, I can say it's the biggest I've ever had and very delicious! I do think 50 West has the better cheese and spicy mustard combo but this was still amazing! Very nice atmosphere and the price was remarkable and makes it a place you can take the whole family every weekend. I even bought a friend's drinks and our bill was $60. The same meal at a place like Mt Carmel Brewery would be around $110. Love this place and kudos to what David has done here! It's local restaurant done right in every facet. Well done!

Where to start... friendly staff made us feel at home and offered a seasonal drink menu/experience as well as food recommendations. From the drinks to the kitchen everything felt fresh, done in house and authentic. The "John Dutton" enjoyed by my husband was wrapped in bacon and cooked to perfection, he states it was the thickest cut steak hes had in years. I had the "Apple Orchard" which was the best pork chop I've ever purchased in a restaurant (juiciest as well) laying on a bed of obviously fresh baked cinnamon apples with a generous dollop of cinnamon butter on top. 🔥 The drinks were so good, I may have over indulged... but the winter sangria was our absolute favorite with the waiters recommendation being or second favorite (you'll have to go to know). Even our appetizer, the loaded potato wedges, were clearly fresh sliced and deep fried, topped with bacon and dill. Can't recommend this restaurant enough!

Went with a friend to David's on 1/19/26 at 5:30 pm for the first time and had an awesome experience! Wait staff was friendly and attentive and offered great suggestions. Menu is moderate but there is something for everyone and the prices are on par with other similar restaurants. The food though, well that's where this place stands apart - everything was EXCELLENT and I mean deeeelicious! The crispy aioli brussell sprouts - amazing! the margherita "flatbread" with mozzarella - amazing! Note: it's not a flatbread it's a medium sized pizza and I am not complaining, hello leftovers! Cod sandwich and fries - amazing! (the fries are sooo good!) I forgot to take pictures of anything but the pizza, I was too busy enjoying the brussell sprouts & the company. We had 2 large draft beers, an appetizer, a pizza, a sandwich w fries and I took the short rib grilled cheese w fries home for my husband, the bill before tip was $65 - 3 meals (and leftovers so really 5 meals) and 2 large beers, I was pleasantly surprised

Our first time here but definitely not the last! Our server was Campbell, and she had excellent suggestions for food and drinks. It was very busy but we didn’t have to wait for anything. This place runs like a well oiled machine. We started with the hot pretzel, and then I had the short ribs grilled cheese and a delicious “Santa Snow Old Fashioned.” My fiance had the classic burger and tore into it before I could get a photo LOL. They have a great selection of menu items and cocktails, beer and wine. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out!

I have now visited David's three times, and I cannot say enough nice things about the fantastic neighborhood gem. The atmosphere and warm friendly staff are perfect. The food is wonderful. Huge fan of the salmon BLT. The pretzel and brussel sprout appetizers are both yummy! They also have fun events. Music, trivia, paint and sips....check them out soon!

This is such a hidden gem. Truly! We've been to this establishment multiple times. Every single thing, down to the signature cocktails have been incredible. Pretzel app, best cheese squares I've ever had! Burgers, amazing. Chicken sandwiches, incredible! Fries, so good (and I'm really not a French fry fan) every single thing we've ever had here has been amazing. All the food and condiments are house made. I absolutely love this place. Worth the 30min drive for us. Don't miss out on this incredible family owned restaurant.

My family decided to visit the newly opened David's Kitchen + Bar for Sunday lunch. Good choice. The place is friendly and service is excellent. We started with the Saratoga chips followed by entrees of Salmon Florentine, chicken Caesar, burger and baked potatoes. Everything was yummy and well cooked. I will give this place another visit and you will want to as well.

Great food and a hidden gem of the east side! I had a ribeye and my wife had salmon and both were phenomenal and at a great price. Beers are cold and vibes are good. They did have a neat little covered patio bar but we sat inside. Will definitely check the bar out on our next visit.

Excellent food and service. Clean. Owner involved venue. Well worth a visit. I'm sure we will be back soon.

Quality of the food could improve. A fish sandwich for $20 that didn't even cover the bun is appealing to me. The servers were great everyone was nice. I like that there was a beer garden with a band. It's a great idea if you're just drinking, I wouldn't go back for the food.

First time trying the new David's restaurant. Interior of the restaurant wasn't changed much from previous one. Staff was prompt and efficient. Our fish sandwiches were hot, crispy and delicious. Probably one of the best I've had. The grilled asparagus was seasoned a little salty but had a freshly grilled taste. Technically their fries were waffle fries. They are not my husband's favorite but he ate them readily. We will try the Saratoga chips next time. This is a pleasant place on the East side of town to have lunch or dinner.

The food was so good! The burgers and mac & cheese are amazing. It's a little loud inside for my taste. It's very hard to have a conversation but other than that it's really great.

We were seated and then never saw anybody again. We watched the people seated after us, get their drinks and then have their orders taken and we couldn't even get the attention of anybody. Ultimately, we left and told them why. It's OK because now I am having a lovely cup of coffee at Butterbees.

Had lunch here today. Very enjoyable. The BLT salad was very fresh and tasty. The pesto chicken sandwich was delicious. Reasonably priced. Large portions. Our server, Bella, was friendly and attentive. The place looks great! Can't wait to go back for dinner soon!

Service was excellent. Knowledgeable and informative about all menu items. Everything on the menu is made from scratch in their kitchen. Food and prices were great. Got to order the pretzel - a meal in itself

Had to go back for round 2! Thursday at 5:30 busy busy busy! Seated within 5 minutes very quick with our beverages. I ordered the seasonal salmon Florentine. Charbroiled salmon fresh cut. served over sautéed spinach and peppers and capers in a lemon butter sauce. Absolutely divine, salmon cooked to perfection and very very hot. The spinach was not overcooked and very flavorful in the lemon butter caper sauce. I highly recommend I will be returning to check out other menu items. Great job. They have warmed the dining area up from the previous owner, which makes it a much more casual and comfortable dining experience.

Hottest new place on the east side!!! Heard about this place from a friend and had to go! It's hard to match outdoor music & bar with GREAT food but somehow they did it!! I had a burger and it was PERFECTION!!! Well seasoned & cooked and delicious. Better than I recently had at a high end restaurant downtown. You gooooooooo!!! Tip big for local!!!

We tried it for the first time last week and liked it so much we came back a week later and brought someone else to try it. They agreed.

The food is amazing. The drinks are plentiful and all the people that work. There are happy you can't ask for more than that.

We stopped by for a quick bite and a drink and sat at the bar. Our bartender was very friendly and we found that a manager there was someone we'd known for some time. Jordan, you helped make us feel right at home. Good food, good service and a pleasant atmosphere.

Food was good! Our server, Jocelyn was amazing and so sweet! She recommended the cod (which I got) and it was what she said it would be, delicious! Keep up the great work Jocelyn and crew at David's! ....oh, and I almost forgot about the tavern fries - if you go there, you can't Not order them!!

I'm a huge proponent of supporting local businesses, so I was eager to check this place out......but sorry....no. My companion and I ordered Saratoga chips, a fish sandwich, a pecan and chicken salad, a Diet Coke, and an iced tea. If my fish sandwich had not ultimately been comped, this would have come to $40. Not joking. So.... The "fish sandwich": priced at $13.99, it was mostly pickles and lettuce, with a thin band of a fish-like substance on a store-bought hamburger bun. The entire sandwich was soggy. A McDonald's Filet-o-Fish would have been seriously better. The salad featured chicken that was literally absent any seasoning of any kind... you could buy a better salad in a bag from Kroger. Even the iced tea tasted like it had been sitting around for a couple of days. So, in summary, the food was terrible, but at least it was overpriced.

I live 10 minutes from this place and I've been waiting for months to finally have the opportunity to get there. I took a friend here for her birthday dinner tonight. It was very good. Service was excellent. People were friendly. The food was very good especially their cheesecake. I'll say again, especially their cheesecake. Don't leave without a piece! The honey salmon was excellent. Only one complaint and that is the place doesn't need to be at 58° freezing everyone out. Work on your temperature control and I would've given you five stars.

Very good food - we had appetizers of fried mozzarella and chicken wings. Dinner was fried cod sandwich, chicken fingers and bacon jam / goat cheese burger. Service was excellent. Very busy Friday night - great busy ambiance. Will definitely return.

Stopped in here for a late dinner last night and we're so glad we did. Excellent service, friendly, helpful, and prompt. Wife had the Dad's Favorite burger. The balance of flavors was perfect, best burger we've had in a while. Saratoga chips were fresh, hands down the best I've ever had. I had the chicken fingers, so no high expectations, but they were unique and delicious, too. Mac and cheese was legit, not kraft for once, and fantastic. We were all starving and getting kind of hangry, David's was exactly what we needed.

The food and value are excellent. The ONLY downfall is that seating on the first floor, near the bar, is very tight. If you have two people it might be ok, but sitting 3-4 at one of those high tops is a really tight squeeze. That won't keep us from going back though, as there's plenty of other seating

Checked out David's Kitchen & Bar for the first time today. Had a great lunch with tasty food, warm atmosphere, and excellent service. We were impressed with how relaxed it felt, with everything clicking, and it only being their first week open. We will be back!

Just came from my first time at David's. I ordered my nine year old the steak tips cooked well done. An hour later they came to us and they were bloody when we cut inside, so we sent them back. They came back as charred and burnt as they could be. The waitress even commented that she could smell them when she brought them. This isn't a mistake, cooks don't let burnt food leave their kitchen unless they intend for it to go out that way. This is how David's treats kids. Don't go to David's, or at least don't send anything back. You won't like the way it gets returned.

Went in with 5 friends Wednesday night. We were asked to leave after 90 minutes s as someone had been waiting for our table 30 minutes. There were CLEAN tables all around us. We will NOT be back!
