We travelled with some of our family booking 2 family rooms. We enjoyed our 4 nights & everything that was available. |The breakfast buffet was very good with lovely choices ! |Sitting by the different pools with a cocktail or 2 was also enjoyable. |The food at the restaurants was great, good menus, service & ambiance. |Having the pop-up restaurant was a great treat also. Such a good idea when you want nice food in a relaxed setting by the pool or waters edge. |The water sports were very good we had plenty of fun using it all. Also the outdoor cinema was a huge hit for all ages. |We found all the staff members lovely, friendly & helpful. |Highly recommend a holiday here for a relaxing few days for couples or families. |The ferry was great way to commute from Hamilton Island where we had flown into, also included in our package. |It’s lovely to see so much work has been done since the last cyclone & a credit to the grounds staff keeping everything so well maintained. |We certainly are lucky to have family friendly resorts off some of the best waterways in the world.

The location is undeniably magnificent; however, the overall experience falls short. Issues such as severe understaffing and exorbitant prices for both food and drinks detract significantly from the visit. Despite the stunning setting that rivals some of the world's best, the quality of the dining experience does not justify the high costs. Additionally, while the resort maintains a charming appeal, its dated facilities may benefit from updates to enhance its overall allure.

Husband & I (plus 2 friends) enjoyed a fabulous 6 days on this island with a great room, food, service & staff. Living reef was a unique experience with fish feeding, commentary & exhibition area. Underwater Observatory amazing & available for private functions. Atrium is welcoming, providing friendly reception staff, a shop, Tonic bar with a generous buffet breakfast included. Enjoyed happy hour with trivia, bingo & music. The 3 pools are inviting (a bit cool in April) with a swim up bar & ample comfortable lazing options (our favourite hangout) . Highlight was Lover's Cove, serene atmosphere, free snorkelling & kayaking if inclined. drinks while viewing the amazing sunset, unforgettable. Dinning options, Salti & Infinity provided interesting & varied menus with top service & views. Pop up shack is a casual dinning experience with a relaxed atmosphere & open fire pit (look forward to experiencing this on our next visit). Gardens are very tropical & add to the holiday feeling. So good we are going back in late November/early December to fully enjoy the pool options & 'up close' & personal living reef experience.

Staff are absolutely amazing. I spoke with Lucy about an error I had made with my booking that I was very stressed about (all my own fault) and she was so kind and helpful. She was able to help me fix my issue quickly and take away any stress I was feeling. 10/10. Will definitely be booking our next family holiday at Daydream Island Resort

Had a great stay here. All of the staff were lovely. Shout out to Trinity for being so hospitable throughout the trip. I would just say that there needs to be an additional mirror in the guest rooms but other than that cannot fault the place. Such a relaxing atmospheric and would definitely come back one day.

It was a great experience, we couldn’t recommend it enough. The reviews from a couple of years ago aren’t valid as the resort has been upgraded. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. It was such an affordable get away!||One of the restaurants we visited named Infiniti was absolutely mind blowing with their Asian inspired cuisine.

This is a great place for kids because of the simulated display of the reef, which is also good for adults who can't snorkel or dive. Pools, rainforest walks, stunning vistas and a wedding chapel with the most amazing view also provide stimulation, whilst birds and friendly wallaroos add excitement.||Staff are pleasant and friendly and ferry services are plentiful. Buffet breakfast, complete with roaming curlews, have a good selection. The cocktails and restaurant menus left me wanting, rooms are pretty basic but spacious, and I felt that overall I got good value for my money.
