The island is beautiful, the staff is multicultural and very kind and helpful in every way (shout out to Gabriel, and Maxxi).
Our kids loved feeding the kangaroos and the stingray ($50 paid separately) in a immerse experience.
The island also offer kayak, stand-up, catamaran and snorkelling at no extra costs any day up to 3pm. Snorkelling at lover's cove is a must-do, specially if the sea is calm.
The sunset at love's cove also offers live music and drinks, and is an amazing/romantic experience.
The resort also have some tennis table, tennis court and some toddler playground.
The down points: 1. they serve Vittoria coffee everywhere on the island, which is terrible. We were really missing a good coffee in our 6 day stay.; 2. everything on the island (perhaps in the region) is at least 20-80% more expensive than anywhere in Australia, from food to boat hiring (which can cost as much as an light aircraft hire with instructor in many parts of Australia).
Maintenance: I heard bad things about it before getting there, but got not much to complain. The island is well maintained, common areas cleaned every day, room cleanliness 9/10, comfortable bed, a little bit noisy aircon, but great 4-star rating I would say.
Tip 1: if you plan to stay more than 3 days here, you may get bored by the lack of restaurants and activities. Going in/out of the island could be very expensive and time consuming. So plan accordingly.
Tip 2: Check the time-sensitive activities on the days you are there, as many things are not available every day (i.e.: morning meditation, movie, etc)
