Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Thunder Bay

Hotel is not clean and smells the same. Hot tub was disgusting and the entire top layer of water had white things (maybe skin cells or something even more gross) floating in it along with hairs and other debris. Pool was unavailable half the time we were there. The continental breakfast had zero hot options other than carbs if you toasted them and a pancake maker. The hard boiled eggs were rubbery and tasted old. Not even ketchup there to try to help them. The milk was put in a juice style container so not idea where it comes from however it smelled so bad I wouldn’t ingest it. The hotel staff however were very pleasant and I just felt bad for them as you can tell this is a management issue and they are working with what resources they are given.

The hotel was clean for the most part. The appearance was fairly simple. The room was spacious enough for four adults but the lack of electrical plugs was noticeable as well as a microwave. Breakfast was very simple. Nothing “hot” and very continental. Except for a pancake machine. Plenty of bread types and bagels. We didn’t try the pool but it seemed adequate however hot tub was out of order.

Great hotel. Could use an update in some rooms. This time we rented the suite and we loved it. Think we will do that all the time. Elevator was not working and we were on the 3rd floor, only negative. We did not stay in room much as we were there for the races. Grandkids loved swimming in pool.

I had an amazing experience last time i stayed at this Days Inn! The rooms are nice, prices are decent, amenities are great but most of all the staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. In particular, Thomas went above and beyond, assisting me with local recommendations, ensuring that I was taken care of. This is the customer service that should be the industry standard. I definitely recommend and would come back.

Considering the Cost of a room nowadays There should be a better breakfast And the building should have better upkeep. Could not have a bath because the metal plug was ripped out of the tub, You have kids running up-and-down the halls late at night.

Very nice clean rooms grate pool and hot tub good breakfast only thing is the TV seemed old but I did not use it much 👍 😀

Good hotel to stay in. I was very surprised by reception. I usually just get handed the keys, but this time, he took the time to tell me what was available. A very friendly person. One complaint was that our room wasn't cleaned and no new towels while we were out for the whole day. A very good free breakfast, too 😋

Room decor and bedding could use updating but overall a great place to spend a night or two. Super convenient to have Montanas in the same parking lot as well.
