I stayed here at this days inn in Brigham city, Utah on the risk and casual Thursday night in October 2017. Definitely a welcome sight after driving from Boise, ID with no sleep from the red eye out from Honolulu to Seattle, then to Boise.
Days inn is known for their budget friendly yet great accommodations for the like minded traveler. I have use this brand for the better part of my traveling since 2007 and they are part of my bag of hotels that I usually go to for my trips. The Days Inn brand is usually at the cheaper end of the hotel spectrum, so that's usually the reason why I book this brand frequently. Plus the service and comfort of the room makes it a good stay when you are traveling for work or pleasure without breaking the bank. For me though, it's a little of both business and pleasure. I stayed here for just one night, so it was a good stay. The prices here are reasonable at around $85 a night, but with taxes and fees it rounds out to a little less than $100 per night. While that may not sound dirty cheap to some people, it was the better deal from the cluster of hotels that I had to pick from for my own personal itinerary and needs. I chose my deal on hotels.com, which is quite awesome. For the most part though, my stay here at the days inn in Brigham city, Utah was uneventful. I did have a pretty good nights rest, with possibly a good eight hours a blissful sleep on a king size bed.
The overall experience here at the Days Inn here at Brigham city, Utah was good, positive, and very quiet. Quiet is good when you want that peace and quiet after a long day of traveling, both in the air and on the ground driving a car. This Days Inn location is located off the I-84 in Brigham City, UT. The area looks kind of desolate around the hotel after you exit off the I-84, but that's how it is. The building looks pretty brand new actually, possibly built within the last five years or so. Or a could have been rebranded from a hotel previously. I don't know. Like all the major hotels in the industry, they except major credit cards as proof of payment. Usually you can either pre-pay online or pay upon check in. Do you require your vehicle information also, which is probably standard practice also. There is plenty a private parking for hotel guests in and around the property, so you probably will have space for the night. Maybe just get here early as possible so you can avoid not having parking.
The lobby is small, with a counter and small seating area and the breakfast area. The breakfast here is mostly a continental affair, with 3 kinds of cereal and milk, waffle iron, and yogurt. There is also assorted pastries and orange juice to get you started and get on with your day. With that in mind, the breakfast was simplified but yet, empty with other chains serving hot breakfast options, but I guess that is what justifies the little bit higher room rates per night. The room I received was room 319 for the night. The room came with a king sized bed and a tub. It also had a standard microwave and a mini fridge. The bed itself was pretty comfortable and I definitely got my money's worth by sleeping comfortably for 8 hours straight without interruption. Possibly because I needed to adjust to the time zone change most likely. The service here is good and professional, although limited at check in and check out. The room itself was clean and everything worked.
4.0 stars for the overall experience. I thought that this stay was a little bit cheaper than $100/night, but I guess I forgot to add in the taxes and fees after the nightly rate. 4.0 stars for the room comfort. 3.0 stars for the service. Breakfast was decent and filling. Wifi was good.
