Positive: Location was great. We were going to a concert at Graceland Soundstage and were able to walk to the show. Clean, recently remodeled room. Friendly staff. Good coffee with breakfast. Overall great stay for the price. Would stay here again. Negative: TV service was apparently down at the hotel. Hopefully it'll be working next time if we go to another show at Graceland Soundstage.

Room was to be handicapped accessible. It was not. The only part of the room that you can consider handicapped accessible would be the entrance to the bathroom. I am only referring to the entrance. No shower chair for the tub, I asked for one at the desk and was told they don't have them yet it was advertised. Tub was to have a shower wand as advertised and there was none. Toilet was not a handicapped toilet. Beds are all high in the air making transfers impossible without help. Threshold to come in the room was also not accessible as you needed a running start to get your chair over the bump in. Also the facility only has two handicapped parking spaces and both were taken up the whole time by hotel staff who were not handicapped nor did they have any placards or plates stating they were handicapped. Cleaning crew that came in cleaned nothing. They just pulled the bed covers back up and took the dirty towels. No clean towel or toilet paper was left and I had to go to the desk to ask for it. The only garbage can in the room was not emptied so it was overflowing when we left. Breakfast was a joke as well. No juice just a warm glass container that looked like orange juice but was actually Tang. Nothing about our stay here was pleasant by any means. I feel I wasted my money and if we would have had more time for another option I would have taken it.

I was skeptical because of all the negative reviews, but noticed recently reviews were better. Room had been remodeled recently it appeared. Clean. Great location to go to Graceland Soundstage for a show. We walked to the show from here. Simple breakfast, but good coffee. Only negative was TV service was out for the hotel. Not a major deal since we weren't in our room a whole lot, but would have been nice if it was working when we woke up. I'll definitely stay here again though if I'm going to another show at Graceland Soundstage. Hopefully TV service will be working next time.

Location- located on busy Elvis Presley Blvd. Close to Graceland. So close you could walk. ||Bed- beds were great. Very comfy. Slept great on them. Size was double. Good for two people. Nice linens and pillows.||Room- basic amenities- shampoo, lotion, ironing board, iron. Room also had tv, microwave and fridge. Room was clean. |**No hairdryer. ||**the door had a gap at the bottom and debris would blow in. Ended up putting a towel at the base at night to filter light out and help with debris coming in. |Towels given for 2 people but when asked for 3 it wasn’t a problem. ||Breakfast- waffles, yogurt, breakfast croissant sandwiches (like frozen jimmy deans), assorted juices, hot water/tea, coffee, muffins. Waffles were at a waffle station. Muffins, croissants, yogurts were not always stocked or a few out of each. Just ask and they got some for us. ||Maid service- we didn’t use. Wasn’t fond of the “not responsible for valuables left in room sign”. We just cleaned up ourselves and exchanged towels at the front desk. Emptied our own trash. No biggie. ||Overall- happy with our stay and would stay again.

Google
Great location if you’re visiting Graceland, but very run down. The pool was green, and the breakfast was just toast and waffles, we really wish there had been fresh fruit and a wider variety. Rooms are clean enough but basic, this is a convenient budget option. If you want a better quality but more expensive stay, try the Graceland guesthouse across the street.

Visited Memphis for the first time. Sy the hotel manager worked with me and treat me great. My first night the bed made a loud sound every time I got in it he moved me to a better room the next day. Final day we left for the airport late in the day was able to work a half day rate and was very accommodating. Lennie The breakfast attendant is a sweetheart very accommodating. The property is within walking distance of Graceland and Uber Lyft to downtown average $12. Had a flawless time. Their television network is satellite so if there's a bad storm it will be glitchy however if you're there to visit Memphis you're barely in the room. Rooms were clean remodeled good water pressure good water temperature comfortable beds extra pillows granted as requested. For having a roof over your head at a fair price along with the free breakfast I couldn't have asked for a better staff accommodation and overall experience. I give five stars on the level of hospitality and A++ to Sy and Lennie for making my experience memorable would highly recommend as a place to stay while you go out and enjoy Memphis/Graceland

Google
I was so wary of staying here judging by the reviews however when I arrived i found it was an excellent location for Graceland. Room on ground floor was immaculate, spacious and modern. Handy to get taxi to Beale Street and would stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel without many expectations due to the amount of negative reviews, but I can say that it was better than I expected. When we arrived, our original room had a light bulb defect and they changed us without any problem. Our new room was neat and clean. With the exception of the safe that didn't work, everything was ok. The breakfast was simple but pleasant (they even have a guitar-shaped waffle maker that my son loved). The staff were all helpful. The only point that left something to be desired was in relation to cleanliness, or better to say, the lack of it. Of the 6 nights I spent there, the maids just took out the trash and changed the towels, and that was it. I killed a bug on my first night and it stayed with us throughout our stay. But for the price paid (57 dollars per night), I can't complain. The only advantage of staying in this region is the proximity to Graceland, keep that in mind.

Yelp
Stayed here on vacation because it was close to Graceland. The room reeked of cigarette smoke and marijuana and imbedded into everything. The amenities were half used. Ironing board with no iron. Towels were rags. Absolutely NO Elvis memorabilia in the room at all! No breakfast. Beds and pillows leave your back hurting and there is NO soundproofing so conversations on the patio echo in the hallway and can be heard as if they are RIGHT outside your door. Cigarette smoke can be smelled from inside the door from people on the patio. Toilet wasn't bolted down completely so aside from being woken up early, I had a heart attack to go along with it. Cheap hotel to rest your head that's about it.

Erica L.

Yelp
The room was okay as far as Days Inn locations go...no roaches or bedbugs. 4 pillows. Cheap, rough towels. The obligatory crusty bathroom tiles and cigarette burns all over the furniture. Didn't appreciate the lobby being locked and having to check in whilst standing outside in 30° weather speaking to an older clerk I couldn't hear through the glass. Bed was okay, on a metal folding frame. One headboard section was falling off the wall. Concerning for injury. No phone in room. A/C unit in centigrade, which was weird. Good location. Cool swimming pool (see pics). Darkest room I've EVER stayed in. See the over-sink candlelight quality lighting. Half the lamps didn't work, so it was VERY DARK. Would probably stay again because the price and location were the best we could find for our needs.

Tim T.

Yelp
This place is a dump! More like a fancy flop house. Dirtyy walls that need paint! This room has a total of 26 cigarette burns on the furniture. The AC is disgusting! The only thing That would make this room acceptable would be hookers and cocaine which both can be gotten in the parking lot after dark. Please enjoy at your own risk

Yelp
This place is filthy and the Management is non existent Mrs Patel is supposedly the owner but never returned my numerous calls. They stole food we had brought in our car for snacks and also stole a pair of pants my wife was going to wear the next day. When you go to have breakfast you have to wait in line behind the gardeners and the Thieves who clean the room and then the lazy woman who sets up the breakfast does not clean up the tables but has a big tip jar on the breakfast table. The bathroom floor was so dirty I wore shoes to walk in and out of the shower. The mattress might have been used in the Civil War. The walls are scratched and the furniture and light fixtures need work or better yet replacement. The only thing they have going for them is that it is walking distance to Graceland. I complained to Wyndham and they did nothing but words. That place should be dumped by Wyndham and called Patel's House of Thieves. It is home for black mold, bed bugs and wait in line so the gardeners and thieves eat first and sit at a table with dirt and syrup on it. WYNDHAM HAS LOST MY BUSINESS

Yelp
Though the hotel seems to be relying on it's proximity to Graceland, it's guitar shaped pool and it's memorabilia, it was not suitable for a business traveler looking for specific amenities. The hotel is being renovated and offers no coffee or food at all. Not even a coffee maker in the room. The room was clearly not finished and ready for someone to stay in it. The smoke detector hanging by wires from the wall and malfunctioning door missing a secondary lock do not imply that safety is a priority. This doesn't include the fact that the door stuck so badly it had to be forced open by hotel staff just to get into the room. Cosmetic items can be fixed if someone does a thorough inspection - toilet not secured appropriately and leveled, television not working appropriately being two examples. Also, be sure to double check all documentation and receipts, as you are likely to get the wrong ones. Perhaps this hotel works for those doing touristy things, but this will not be one I return to on future business trips to the area.

Yelp
We stayed in room 104 from 11-6-2021 to 11-9-2021.  I was stuck on the I40 for five hours due to an overturned semi, but was able to call the front desk and have my mom added to the reservation so she could check in after her flight landed, which she was able to do.  The room was reasonable, and the "blue suede" color on the walls pretty. (The hotel is obviously Elvis themed.)  The beds were comfortable and the shower hot and powerful.  The room had a microwave, fridge and coffee. One of the bed lights was completely broken and the bathroom sink faucet was loose. The faucet's temperature was reversed. The property is within walking distance of Graceland which was our major stop in Memphis. Each night was $93.45. Grade:  B Would stay again?  Yes

Ariel S.

Yelp
I wish I could give this zero stars. The room was trashed the towels looked like they were used. There is music playing 24/7 and it's loud you hear it all night long over the TV. There were missing and mismatched lightbulbs. Fixtures were rusted and dirty some even broken. The floor was covered in filth and everything smelled awful. It was not worth it. Never stay here.

Tammy B.

Yelp
Major safety issues. Back door propped open. No sink or tub stopper. 3 days no hot water. Room was never cleaned. Smelled pot in at least 2 rooms. No breakfast ( blamed on change of management) employee asleep on lobby couch. We took out our trash, got fresh towels and toilet paper. Days Inn should be concerned about their reputation . We also killed two roaches.

Mama W.

Yelp
Horrible place. Under renovation and we got the only "renovated" room. The toulet leaks on the floor, and there's no toilet paper holder. The tv freezes constantly, and we just killed a cockroach. I feel sorry for the owners. They seem nice but this renovation is just lipstick on a pig.

Shannan L.

Yelp
Worst hotel experience of my life. No shower curtain. Filthy room all around. Rude front end "service" if you can even call it that.

Rudy L.

Yelp
Do not be fooled by the cool neon and guitar shaped pool. This place is a scam and a dirt hole. We came in late, around 11:00pm. Asked for a room and was told it was cash only as "booking is closed". That was the first red flag but we ignored it. Paid cash (that we had to get from the on-premise atm), yet they still took our credit card info. We go to the room and it's filthy; webs and debris on the wall by the door, stains on the bed sheets, a general unpleasant smell. We tried to be positive so I went to ask for new sheet. I walked out to the front desk (because there's no phone in the room) and asked for new sheets, to which I was told it wouldn't be possible because the laundry room was locked. We decided to ask for a refund and leave, so in response they were combative, would not accept and offered another room. We went to go check it out but the experience was already soured. The new room was maybe slightly cleaner but the bed was thin like a futon pullout bed. So we decided to be firm and get a refund. Getting a refund took far too long. We were told that the cash box was locked, the desk clerks shift was over, the owner was unreachable, and suddenly new sheets were available. We eventually were able to get a refund but it was exhausting and we were livid by the end of it. Terrible experience. Great place to go if you are looking for a bad time.

Shane A.

Yelp
The staff was nice, and the beds were comfortable, they had microwaves, and fridges in the rooms which is why they get 3 not 2 stars. Now for a pretty extensive "bad list." Parking can be a bit of an issue, especially when you have a lot of luggage. If you're room is on the far side, and upstairs prepare for a walk. They play Elvis from 9am to 9pm over a loudspeaker!!! If you're the kind of person who likes naps, and is sensitive to sound you're not gonna have a good time here. The carpets, and showers are disgusting! Sure they vacuum, but my wife spilled some water, and while wiping it up the towel, and our socks became black! The shower was full of mold, and mildew; with bubbling in the paint. In conclusion, okay stay for a night or two, but you don't want an extended one here.

Kymberlee Kaye R.

Yelp
Our room was horrible! Bedding was full of piss! Phone didn't work and front desk wouldn't answer! Front door of hotel was shattered! What a horrible hotel experience!

Lisa G.

Yelp
Great For the price. They had a complementary at Breakfast with do it yourself waffles, cereal, coffee and oatmeal. Not bad at all. We walked over to the meditation garden where the king himself is laid to rest from here. If you go from 730- 830 you can go into it for free and pay your respects.

Branden M.

Yelp
I had a good stay, some things could have been better. The location is the best thing about this hotel. It is within walking distance to the Elvis Presley museums and Graceland. The area is a little sketchy and run down, so be careful to not keep anything valuable in your car. The highway is about a 2 min drive. Not bad However, there were some problems. The TV didn't work. The joined room door was broke and I couldn't lock it. There was no outlets near the bed to charge my phone, I had to charge it in the bathroom. Room was clean. Breakfast was very basic and only had English muffins, cereal and bread... I only got coffee and left. The pool looked clean but it's February so I didn't go in. I didn't complain because I was staying 1 night and just passing through Memphis.

Richardo T.

Yelp
As background for this review i just want you to know we stay in 20 something different hotels each year. Sometimes for one night and sometimes for weeks. So we know what makes a fair, good, and great hotel. The Days Inn near Graceland is by far the worst kept hotel I have seen in decades. The property condition in one star. My room had a stench of mold mixed with B O. The air conditioner was so so loud you could barely sleep. The room door and walls were dirty. The bath tub had gouges with huge pieces of enamel missing. And the white towels had a grayish tint to them. There were wires hanging from the TV, and the furniture was as cheaply constructed as you could buy. The place needs a MAJOR renovation and then some. To put it in perspective, it was the second worst hotel I have been to in over 30 years. I wish I would of left, but was too tired. In my opinion you should not even consider this property.

Joe R.

Yelp
If I could give this hotel 0 stars and it would still let me review , I absolutely would. The property looks nothing like the photos available here, through any other booking site, or even the Days Inn website ran by Wyndham directly which is where I booked through. I can understand you cant expect much from a hotel that was only set to cost me 77 a night, but I have stayed in multiple Days Inn locations before and they've NEVER been as horrifying or compeltely unacceptable as this was. When I arrived, the building just looked kind of off and noticed the outside looked much.... dirtier I guess you could say than anything I had seen on the outside. Okay, not too big a deal. I was very tired and whatever. I just wanted to get checked in, go get something to eat, then go to bed. As I was getting settled, I had noticed a few things in the room that seemed weird, but not too bad as ive seen them in higher end hotels and it doesnt bother me because you cannot alwaysget maintenance in to fix thing like a scratch in the wall. I started noticing more things after I got woken up by screaming outside my room at midnight, and what I assume was a drug deal going on later as I heard someone right outside my door talking about "3 grams" of something. after that settled down, I got up, turned on the lights, and started looking around the room. The things I found once I was conscious enough to see them after I had already stayed there include but are not limited to: Stains on the walls in the main room A stain or possible mold/water damage on the ceiling A dirty inside of the microwave A space between the bed area flooring and the stone tile for the sink where you could see down to the concrete flooring underneath and i actually cut my foot on Some kind of yellow stain running down parts of the bathroom wall(looked like tobacco stains or something i dont know) Cigarette(or some kind of other burns) on the bed linens Coffee stains or possibly even blood stains on the bed linens The AC(that barely worked) being held up with small random chunks of 2x4 boards The door seemed crooked and did NOT fit properly in the door frame leaving a large gap The door frame itself, looked like someone tried to break in to the room at some point and the property management did a poor job at repairing it. There was a random tiny dead lizard sitting on the floor that, if I hadnt have stepped on it, I wouldn't even have noticed since the color looked similar to the flooring. An electrical socket in the sink area(that you're supposed to plug the hair dryer in to was NOT plated to the wall and was just kind of sank in to an open hole Stairs outside my room were starting to crumble a bit.(Not a huge deal, but looks like it had been an issue for a while and wasnt being fixed. No coffee maker in the room as was listed. Also pool was closed which I can understand due to Covid and the free breakfast was non-existant as well(possibly also due to covid. no big deal on these, but it is NOT listed on the Wyndham website and I didnt find out until check-in) I had booked this room due to its cost and proximity to Graceland as I was taking my mother there for her birthday and this was an absolutely horrifying experience which as I said before, was surprising as I've stayed in other Days Inn locations and never had any kind of issue like this. THANKFULLY there was an issue at home that caused me to have to check out early and not be able to stay my second night. The only saving grace for this hotel was the fact that when I went to notify the counter that I had to check out early due to an issue at home and leave , the woman at the counter on the morning of Friday 7/31/2020 was kind enough to check me out and not charge me for the second night. If you want to visit Graceland whether it is with family or alone, PLEASE do yourself a favor and book at a different hotel. I felt afraid for the health and safety of myself and my mother.

Sharon H.

Yelp
No elevator. Rusty steps. Room smells. Dirty refrigerator. Front desk not helpful. Don't bother staying here.

Nova V.

Yelp
This place is a disGrace to Graceland, Elvis, his family, his fans and the opportunity for respect to the meaning of being an Elvis devoted fan. Get ready this will be long but please read because this place is beyond the most disgusting hotel to stay. In fact Wyndham should be embarrassed to be associated or have their name attached to "Days Inn Graceland" Upon check in for myself, son and 9 year old granddaughter which she was the reason for the trip she fell in love with Elvis after seeing the movie. I personally have been to the mansion before AND stayed all 2 times at Days Inn and thought I would endure the same prior experience with her. But nope I was shocked to see how run down the place is. The pics on all websites are NOT what it really looks like. The lobby used to be decorated pretty for Christmas not this time no tree, no Christmas decor, no cheeriness, no stocking hung but maybe a mouse was stirring somewhere. Arrived to room after a 10 hr drive with all our luggage in tow first thing it smelled like was marijuana! The people next door were smoking and started fighting and arguing. We immediately gathered our things and dashed to the office to let clerk know she tells us..."well whose to say if I move you it's not gonna be the same thing". Omg seriously! I said, give me a room that is safe. She stuck us in the very back of hotel where a suspicious vehicle was parked on the phone as if waiting for someone or something and can't imagine what that was about. Finally, ready to bathe shower head was not connected properly water spitting out, drain was clogged, holes in wall, could still hear people ne to us. Upon taking my daughter to see guitar shaped pool people in parking lot in cars smoking weed everywhere. I did not check out because i was being charged $145 and couldn't get another room on my credit card. Place is the pits please don't stay here.

Ian V.

Yelp
Sheets dirty towels rough and the pool is never cleaned and your room will probably never be cleaned

Ricardo P.

Yelp
Not what the picture looked like I feel it was false advertising. Place was very dirty. The only good thing was it was right next to Graceland that's it. But I guess you pay for what you get.

Kelly H.

Yelp
I have stayed here a few years back and it was a nice place. However I put my parents up here when they were traveling and it has gone down hill really bad. The person was very rude. Had to change rooms cause tv didn't work and neither did a light. Rooms were dirty and smelled of cigarettes. There was no ice available. Pool area was used for storage

Amanda R.

Yelp
One star is too good for what we checked in to. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Filthy, disgusting, dirty, pool closed(sort of), restaurant closed, no tissue in the room, see thru towels, soiled linens, the toilet was coming undone from the wall, a legit hole in the tub, floor never been mopped....black socks to prove it. So disappointed for our family trip. What a fall from grace!

Ricardo A.

Yelp
I'm APPALLED at how absolutely disgusting this hotel is, roaches crawling around, a room that smells like complete shit, black mold all over the ceilings, the bathroom smells like piss.. countertops are completely dirty & stinky, so are the floors.. DO NOT STAY HERE & WASTE YOUR MONEY. This is a literal nightmare, I don't even think I'll be staying here tonight b/c I genuinely can't, I'll end up leaving here with bedbugs & roaches if I stay here. DISGUSTING.... They even changed my room & the second one was even worse, all that black mold was from the second room & I spotted several little roaches as soon as I walked in. It won't allow me to post a video or I'd show the roaches I recorded. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!

Krissy E.

Yelp
Location is great for Graceland. Within walking distance. Staff was friendly. Room wasn't great. Floor was dusty/dirty - socks got filthy! Room smelled musty, smoke detector was covered with plastic bag, so someone had been smoking something in the room. Ironing board but no iron. Light fixture falling off of the wall. Sink faucet was about to fall off, was super loose. Lobby was closed - no food/snacks. Great little restaurant next door with good food. So there was that. I feel bad, because you can tell from the pictures on the website that this place was great in its prime, but it is long past it's prime. Hopefully they can get it back there in the future. I'd recommend it for a one night stay to visit Graceland.

Bobb F.

Yelp
walked in the front desk office and smelled like pot, shook that off and got to the room and it to stunk like pot. The place should be called the pot hotel. tried to get money back and it was denied.

Anna M.

Yelp
I booked a non-smoking room but the room had a faint smell of cigarette smoke. The tub drained slow so you're standing in water by the end of your shower & the curtain had a mildew smell. The pool is closed & office is closed to guests so no breakfast or coffee. Looks like they're updating the place but it's not quality work. Ceiling is poorly patched, painted walls are scuffed, cable wires run along the floor of one entire wall, bathroom faucet isn't properly secured so it wiggles. The only thing going for it is proximity to Graceland but I would never stay here again.

Susanne M.

Yelp
My dad and I stayed here because we were attending the Liberty Bowl. It was $120 a night. This I thought was way to high, they only charge because they are close to Graceland. The staff seemed nice. The decor is adorable. They have a guitar shaped pool!! However the rooms are disgusting!! My room reeked of cigarette smoke and mold! The showers were dirty and there was no hot water or water pressure. The absolute worse part is I got bit by bed bugs. The breakfast is nothing to brag about. I told the lady at the front desk my wrist. It was bed bugs!! Ugh!! I hope the manager will do something. I did love the decor but because of how unclean and unhealthy this hotel is, that is why it gets a one star.

Elizabeth J.

Yelp
This place. Sad. It has so much potential to be something great. It was a huge disappointment. We ended up being 4th in the line where everyone was getting their refunds. The staff gave the $140 each room back right away and didn't even try to argue, they knew what was up. Nonsmoking rooms smelled of smoke and every inch of furniture had cigarette burns. The sheets where visibly dirty, exposed electrical, dusty, filthy outside area, dirty tubs, TV would not turn off, every space on every wall had a scuff or dirt stain. We checked out and stood on the side of the place for an hour trying to get another hotel and an Uber to get us there. It was getting dark and we realized it was probably one of those rent by the hour rooms. We started seeing ladies of the night entering and then coming out all sexified. Oh and to top it off, there was a whole ass booger on the wall. That was the last straw. I've included a picture of the booger as well.... please do not stay here. We ended up going downtown and staying in the Canopy. So nice.

Leah B.

Yelp
If I could give this place a negative star rating I would! STAY AWAY! This place is filthy! Mold in the bathrooms, cracks in the ceiling, dirty floors. Even the guestroom door wouldn't close properly! I did not feel safe and couldn't bring myself to stay in that filthy room for more than 2 hours - while I searched for a new hotel. I inquired about a refund due to my horrible experience and was only offered $34! Wyndham hotels have deplorable customer service! I wouldn't recommend that my worst enemy stay at a Wyndham hotel!

Jerome M.

Yelp
I have stayed at this location several times over the years. The quality has dropped significantly, so much so that staying here is no longer an option after this last encounter. I made pre-paid reservations months ago. When we showed up for our stay we were told there was no reservation. We were told it was canceled by the app we booked through. When we showed the clerk that our reservation was not canceled he said the manager had canceled all reservations because current guests extended their stay. So, which is it, or did he just make it up? When he broke this story to us he literally laughed. I told him there was nothing funny about it. He continued to laugh. We had another person in our group that had checked in previously. She walked into a room that had a foul odor, a broken mirror, a smoke detector ripped out of the ceiling, low water pressure and more. As soon as we found out our rooms had been canceled and the condition of her room we pulled our other group member out of this dingy hole and moved to another hotel. I will never consider staying here again & would not recommend anyone else to stay here. If they don't care about their own hotel, why should I? Days Inn should strip them of their name.

Heather Y.

Yelp
We got in late and found the door to our room was unlocked and the television on. I immediately felt unsafe and checked the room for anyone in there. The room was filthy and smelled of smoke. Gum on the floor, food on the bathroom wall and doorknob, a very big spider in the room. The air conditioner was broken. There were several people sitting in their vehicles at 4am. I can only assume prostitution and/or drugs happening. We left after about 10 minutes. We did not feel safe at all. We slept at a truck stop.

Yelp
People 1* is 5 to many. Beds are horrible, we didnt even stay, we just left. Keep my money you need it to buy some bleach to wash the blood off the walls. Yes there was blood on tbe walls. Smell of the room was horrifying, I just about dry heaved several times.

Yelp
The shower pressure was great as was the location for those who are doing the Graceland tours or wanting to be near the airport. Those unfortunately were the only good points. The room smelled horrible, almost like a smoker had locked themselves inside and smoked their way through a dozen packets. The power points near the bed were borderline dangerous they appeared to have had something plugged in and then the table pushed into them. The sleep number beds both didn't work and were stuck on whatever setting they last worked in. The beds also had huge sags in the sides which meant if you were on that side you either fell out or twisted your back trying to stay in. The walls in the bathroom appeared to be patched by a 5 year old and the layer of dust on the bathroom fan/vent was absolutely disgusting! The parking lot was very well lit, which was great to make you feel like you and your vehicle were safe, however this lighting meant that it was darker in our room during the day then it was at night.

Yelp
The floors were filthy, turned the bottom of my white socks black. The wifi does not connect to the internet. There has been no breakfast for 3 years.

Yelp
Great location to visit Graceland. The area around Graceland is not great for sure, but if your there to visit Graceland this hotel is perfect for one night. We paid $60 each for our two rooms. The hotel is completely decorated with Elvis memorabilia . Our hotel rooms were very outdated but the staff truly had done everything they could to make it as appealing as possible. Bring your own pillow if possible. The front desk could not have been any nicer throughout our stay. The pool is shaped in a guitar and in decent shape. Elvis music played throughout property. There is free wifi, free parking , and a free continental breakfast. The coffee was great! Not a lot of room in breakfast area so plan accordingly. We left our car in the parking lot of hotel to visit Graceland and avoided the Ten dollar parking charge per car. The walk is frankly just as close or closer than Graceland's own parking lot. I would definitely recommend staying here for a short stay.

Yelp
After our Motel 6 incident we decided to head on over here! This hotel is really close to Graceland, no reservations are needed, and is pet friendly!!! Oh and also has a ton of Elvis crap everywhere, yea!!!! They even have a freakin awesome guitar shaped pool, too bad it was humid and 85 degrees and then suddenly tornado weather when I dropped by, lol. The rooms are nice and clean with comfy beds and pillows. They also have a good sized tv, fridge, and microwave. All the decor is kinda retro and funky, and there are Elvis portraits on the wall of course. The area is not very loud since it is a few miles away from any highways, so you will sleep pretty well here. There's a channel that shows Elvis movies 24/7 but it didn't work, so fail right there Graceland Days Inn. I was excited about that after reading about it in the other Yelp reviews. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was actually pretty good. There are lots of options: waffles, toast, fruit, cereal, etc. I wish there was soy milk though, so I can eat the cereal somewhere where there's a complimentary breakfast one of these days! I know, I'm getting greedy and picky over a free breakfast. Also, the breakfast cafe is all decked out in Elvis stuff too, so enjoy while you eat. Also, when we were checking the power went out in the entire Days Inn!!! It was pitch black in all of the room and lobby, I guess this is a problem in Memphis, lol. This part of Memphis is definitely not the nicest part of town, but it is where Graceland is, and wayyyyy better then West Memphis. So if you want a nicer area stay closer to downtown Memphis and drive over to Graceland, and pay the $10 to park there. Oh yea, and how can I forget the best part of all, Graceland is walking distance, so you can wake up and walk on over to start your Graceland tour. :) There is Heartbreak Hotel right next to Graceland which is definitely closer, but way more expensive and probably only a little nicer than this place, which is good enough and only $75 a night.

Yelp
Priced right, located directly across from Graceland, and with a guitar-shaped pool, this Days Inn exceeded our expectations. Rooms are small and a bit outdated, and the Wi-Fi sketchy at best, but this staff were very friendly and clientele very international: in the breakfast room we heard accents from Britain, Germany, Ukraine and Japan, and several that were unplaceable. Hip Elvis tip: from 7:30-8:30, before the tours start, the gates of Graceland are opened up for fans to walk up and see the Memorial Garden at no charge. Staying right across Elvis Presley Blvd, I got in right at 7:30 and had a private audience with the King for a few quiet moments. You can't do that if you're staying downtown.

Yelp
This place was conveniently located (just a block away from Graceland) and the pool was guitar shaped. Very cool! The staff was also very friendly. However, the room had a weird smell to it and it just felt icky. We were only there for 3 nights so we decided to stick it out. It did the trick but I would not stay here again.

Yelp
For Elvis Fans Only. Affordable hotel walking distance to Graceland and Elvis Experience. Leave your door open to hear Elvis radio over the PA system and to air out the ashtray smell of the room. Memphis is a smokers town. Friendly staff, comfortable bed. Free Parking!

Yelp
Let's be honest with ourselves. It's hard not to trust a Days Inn that sports Elvis memorabilia from top to bottom. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean (albiet a little stuffy), and boasted a fridge and a microwave. My biggest concern was the wooden block we had for a bed. Okay, so it was a legitimate bed, but really, may as well have been a giant, king-sized block of wood because when I jumped on it (expecting to bounce), I just about broke my face. It's a good thing I went out until 3 a.m. and was tired enough to fall asleep on a bed of nails. Also, having Elvis watch over you can't hurt. Uh huh. It's walking distance to Graceland, and very nearby Uncle Lou's, which is a must try. If you're in Memphis to see the fun and exciting Memphis tourist attractions, this is a no-brainer. Especially since it's half the cost of the Heartbreak Hotel, and equally as cheesy and fun. It's also right by the highway, so traveling to downtown Memphis was easy-breezy. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay. Did I mention they have a guitar shaped pool? Pretty Elvis-tastic!

Yelp
Stay far away from this place. Total dump , super thin towels , not enough , no tissue-Kleenex, tub is damaged , bed is like a roll out , phone doesn't work , pool closed, no breakfast . Dirty smelly place , Over priced , they should pay me to suffer thru a night at this dump

Yelp
The hotel was trashy on the outside. The rooms were nothing like the pictures on the website showed. They needed updating badly. No coffeemakers in the rooms & saw a bug crawling across the room. Would not recommend to anyone. If you are coming to Memphis and want a positive experience do not choose this hotel. If it were possible I would give it a negative rating.

Yelp
During our 3,000+ mile trip from Chicago to Vegas, we made a stop to Memphis so that we could visit the King's place of residence. We needed a place to stay, had no reservations, we had pets and we wanted to be in a safe place in close proximity to Graceland. Days Inn was able to accommodate us with all the above! Like Rachel H. said, "Its a Days Inn... don't forget that..." It isn't the Ritz Carlton by no means but it provides the essential and never lets you forget that you are across the ways from the home of the King... He is plastered all over the place. Starting with the lobby, his photos, statues and the huge photo of Graceland behind the front desk. Once we were all good to go with our rooms, we passed by the guitar shaped pool. Granted, we were there in late October so we weren't able to utilize it, but I think it's very much unique and a nice touch for the whole Elvis theme. And once we reached our rooms, there he was again on the walls and 24/7 channel of all Elvis movies all the time! We're big time Elvis fans so we sure a heck did not mind the gorgeous man all over the place :) Again, it is a Days Inn, the rooms are average but this was the nicest Days Inn that we stayed at the entire trip, we stayed at 3 and let me tell you... The faucets worked, the toilet and shower were CLEAN, though outdated-- the TVs worked perfectly, the rooms were CLEAN and there were no remnants of anyone smoking in there, yea they're nonsmoking rooms but I am scarred for life w/ other Days Inn locations with their so-called "nonsmoking" rooms. It's walking distance from the Graceland tours area, but if you're traveling or touring w/ the elderly I'd suggest a wheelchair or dropping them off and parking your vehicle back at Day Inn, you have to PAY for parking at the Graceland tours area as to where at DI, it's free. They offer a free continental breakfast. But don't be fooled, they say "hot breakfast" the only hot part of the breakfast was the waffles. The rest of what they offer are toast, fruit, juice and cereal. Don't get me wrong, it's free but if you're expecting eggs and sausage, you'll be disappointed. What they offered was enough to suffice our appetite, so I loved it :) If we ever find ourselves in Memphis again, we'll definitely be staying here, LOVE our experience.

Yelp
Great location close to downtown right, next to Graceland. Being updated now nice for the price. Breakfast was so so. Walls very thin..... Overall good place to stay. It was clean. I recommend. Would stay here again. Again I will state they are renovating right now...

Yelp
It's currently 12:40 in the morning and I can't go to sleep because of the noise. I'm pretty sure there are drug deals happening by the dumpster. I have a towel over my pillow and the room is dirty. If I hadn't been driving for 12 hours, I'd leave. Pass it by if feeling safe is an amenity you require.

Yelp
Very convenient if traveling to Graceland. Pretty clean.. just smelled a little perfumey in the rooms. The pool is awesome- but it was winter when we were there.. so didn't get to enjoy it. Rooms are decorated with Elvis memorabilia. Complementary breakfast was pretty weak- stale pastry items and dried out cereal. But hey.. it close to Graceland and not very expensive. Can't beat that. p.s. walk to Graceland from hotel- we drove and had to pay $ 10 parking! It's totally walkable- save your $.
