Check-in seemed chaotic at the front desk, which was expected for a 3 pm check-in time. Finding the elevator was challenging as it blended in and did not look like a typical elevator. The hotel is old and needs renovations and repairs. My room had a light switch that didn't control anything. There wasn't a central overhead light, only two small lamps between the beds and a desk lamp. The desk was shaky and unstable. The carpet was sticky, and there were dried pink stains in two places. The bathroom was clean and nicely decorated, but it didn't have a toilet paper holder. The bathtub didn't have a plug, which was inconvenient. The deadbolt lock on the door didn't work, which I should have checked as soon as I arrived. I expected more from a place with the Days Inn name. PS—If you are a fan of breakfast, I recommend skipping the free breakfast, as it was disorganized, and the food and coffee were cleared away by 10:11 a.m.

Awful experience. Worst I ever had in a hotel. Front desk people very rude. And even worst behavior the manager Nancy Gandhi. This people tried to blame me for the problem with the toilet in the room they gave me. I kindly went to the front desk to ask for a room change even thought their toilet was the issue and it was water all over the floor and my shoes. Instead of saying sorry sure we”ll change your room, this people said you did something to it immediately not even asking what happened. I was shocked. I paid for that and they seem like they were giving me something for free, even the manager was the same attitude super rude. I don’t know how this hotel let people like this with 0 customer care run the business. I’m never coming back and telling everyone I know how horrible service this hotel has. Also there was a stinky smell in the room.

This is hands down the worst hotel we've ever stayed at. The room was absolutely appalling. Everything in the room was broken or dirty. The bathroom door would not close all the way, the door paneling itself was obviously screwed back together and what looked to be chiseled poorly or maybe just worn down from trying to open and close it. The cabinet door was missing a hinge making the mini fridge almost impossible to get to. The light fixture between the beds were tilted and the outlets wouldn't work. The curtain rod was coming loose from the ceiling. The bed skirt had STAINS all over the side of it. *gags* The bathroom drain was clogged with what looked like yellow/orange sludge. The hairdryer attachment was falling off the wall. Then anytime we turned on the shower it sounded like there were 10,000 tiny men jackhammering inside of the walls. It was LOUD and had to have been so disruptive to any of the rooms surrounding us. I will say the staff here was very pleasant. They did offer us another room but having children (one with autism and elopement issues) with us, we weren't comfortable having a walk-out door by a busy road. We ended up having to end our trip early because of the unsafe and unsanitary conditions of this place.

Very bad experience. We were 25 to 29 total family in 2 rooms for 5 days in days inn wayne hotel. On the first day we faced a problem while opening the door of a room with the key. After complaining, he was sent to another room. After a while in bed at night, it felt like something was biting. I fell asleep because I was overtired. After waking up in the morning, I noticed that at least 15 places on the body were red and swollen. Mild pain and accompanying itching. Same situation with my son staying in other room. He assured the hotel officials that they would look into the matter. Back to the hotel at night again in the same room. Insect bites again. Then the next day I complained to the front desk. I showed the insect bites in different parts of the body. But no action was taken. Everyone in the family is pretty much a victim of bed bugs. 1200 dollars for two rooms for 5 days was taken in advance. So I couldn't leave the room.

Positive: Leaving! Negative: The breakfast was a joke. The entire complex was filthy! The front desk didn't even answer the telephone. The bath tub was clogged. One bed was jammed against the air conditioner/heater. The guys at the front desk were mono-syllabic.

Google
So they “banned” me because I called corporate and told them how my room was atrocious. Soon as I checked in the bathroom door was locked and the front desk had to use a screw driver to open door . Sheets was dirty , no blanket on one of the beds and they didn’t even have rags. Also one of the beds was broken to the point it was even on the damn box sprig or whatever it’s called and my mom almost hurt herself . The manager only offered me a $16 refund , didn’t wanna refund me all my money and got mad when I asked for corporates number. They don’t clean these rooms the way they’re supposed to this is ridiculous

The room was clean and the hotel was quiet. Large hotel with plenty of rooms. Looks like it was recently updated. Has an outdoor pool that wasn't open at this time. June. Turned off the leaking toilet at night. The desk chair was quite dirty. Nice location in Wayne near a lot of restaurants and shopping. Some nearby parks for hikes. Breakfast was minimal but there were plenty of diners nearby. Would stay again without hesitation.

Google
First off, rooms have bedbug crawling all on the bed and in the floor. (Check video) Room smells like sweaty feet after a 5 miles run. Then the manager opened my door in the middle of the day while I was undressed. Then said sorry. Then on top of that house keeping comes, knocks and wakes you up 3 hours before check out to tell you what time check our is. I will never come here again.

Yelp
My son and I stayed at this hotel/motel for 1 night. The outside leaves a bit to be desired. It looks a little unkempt. The interior of the building is average for an establishment of this age as well. The room is spacious it appears to be recently renovated as well. Very clean and fresh. My shower head in my room was not functioning properly so it only half sprayed but other than that and the confusion of which building my room was in, this was a great room for the cost.

Yelp
We stayed in the Days Inn for one night due to attending a funeral. The price was fair for what others were charging. The room was nice and clean. Unfortunately due to covid they did not serve any breakfast at all which was a bummer. If they were not going to serve breakfast at all maybe the hotel could have gave their customers a voucher to eat somewhere that is nearby otherwise everything was fine.

Yelp
I was staying at the in a week ago and unfortunately it has bedbugs. I addressed the issue to the manager, they claimed it was nothing even though I showed them the pictures. A week later I am back home and my house is full of bedbug.

Yelp
I had to call the reservation line to try and find someone to help check me in. About 10 min after that, the front desk clerk finally showed up. The room was ok at best. The bathroom however, a different story. There were burn marks on the tun and sink. (Nonsmoking room) The shower rod was busted and making it so the shower curtain didn't close all the way. Then there's the leaky toilet that likes to run every now and then to fill the tank, not to mention they didn't even have a roll for the toilet paper to sit on. This would be an individual with OCD nightmare. Calling the front desk was a waste of time as the attendant doesn't answer the phone. Would NOT recommend.

Yelp
-1 Star Travelers Beware! This establishment engages in fraudulent activities. I made a reservation but never got a confirmation email or number. I was told they were having an issue with the computer system and it could take up to 24 hours to process the booking. The following day I still never received confirmation so I called back. I was told there was no reservation booked. Not only that, I was told there were no available rooms for the dates I wanted. Imagine my surprise when the charges appeared on my credit card statement! After multiple attempts to contact the general manager, I finally had to reach out to Wyndham directly. Save yourself the aggravation and stay someplace else.

Yelp
Wow.. I don't know where to start! This hotel was by far the WORST establishment I have ever stayed at! I was attacked by bedbugs over the course of 5 days! I thought i had mosquito bites until at 3am I noticed a big insect under my pillow!! I immediately googled it and realized it was a bedbug!!! I checked the bed and over sudden all over the head board were bedbugs!! Fecal matter, eggs and bugs all over the place! Disgusting! I will have a phobia of beds for the rest of my life now which is affecting my sleeping! I am also seriously allergic! I was taken to the ER by ambulance to get treated due to a severe allergic reaction which caused my body to shut down and my throat to itch and swell up! My face was red and I had a bad rash with severe itching and a sore throat! I was covered in sheets taken to the ER! It was humiliating! In addition I had to discard of my clothing! And some belongings! I have a hospital bill for over 1,000$ and an ambulance bill for 1,000$! Then I had to switch hotels which costed me 40$ by 2 uber rides to get all my belongings!! I might get scabs and I'll be scratching for weeks with bleeding scabs! On top of the terror I had en employee by the name of "Wade" talk down to me without any respect of consideration!! He was awful! He truly disgusted me just as much as the bedbugs.. he had a bad attitude towards my friend too because I think he may be racist!! I'll never stay there again!

Yelp
A horrible hotel. They have welfare people there, and the manager is terrible. I reserved rooms before Covid, and the hotel was never clean. I would never stay now post Covid.

Yelp
My mother booked this place for a short stay in the area. Against my better judgement, I didn't bother to read any reviews...thank God. Happy to say I did NOT have any bed bugs. However, the room was not ready when I arrived at 3:00, even though I was given a key and told it was. No a big deal, just slightly inconvenient. The rooms are basic. No frills here, but who stays at a Days Inn expecting anything super fancy? The place could definitely use a revamp though. Air conditioning units are on the fritz - room gets crazy cold then Sierra desert hot an hour later. Sheets were clean, bathroom was clean, but my shower/tub was clogged after one night. It served its purpose and it was cheap, so I'd say I got what I paid for here. If you're cool with a basic bed, a quick shower, and some nasty AM in-room coffee, this is your place. Otherwise, I think there's a Marriott down the road for a few bucks more .

Yelp
This place is the absolute pits. I cannot believe that actually charge people to stay here. The hallways are disgustingly dirty, the rooms a dirty and smelly. The furniture in the rooms are ripped and worn out. The hotel staff are very unfriendly. Our room didn't even have blankets on the beds. Hair was found in the sink, tub and floor. Grossest place I have ever stayed in.

Yelp
we were charged double what we were quoted on days in main number and the hotel couldnt help us bc we booked on the phone. the hotel is filthy and there were drug deals and people smoking up at every entrance. homeless people roamed the hotel. most entrance locks were broken. we could not sleep bc the room thermostat would either be 50 degrees or 90 degrees. We left and moved to another hotel for the last night. Days inn owes us $600 at least and no one should ever stay here or book with their phone serv

Yelp
We stayed in the Days Inn Wayne for 5 nights. Overall, a good choice for the price. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was always on time and well-stocked with waffles, yogurt, boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, juices, bagels, etc. The only negative feedback I have is the condition of the building. In many places it was obvious there had been water damage to the carpet, and in parts of the 2nd floor hallway there was a horrible smell of mildew. We stayed in room 131, where the leaking toilet "ran" water all night and one of the floor lamps had a broken light bulb socket. Overall, however, I recommend this place and would stay here again. Excellent choice if traveling on a budget.

Yelp
Stayed for 4 days and only got my room cleaned once.I was gonna stay 2 more nights but only offered me up to 15% off the next 2 nights. They just didn't want to clean the room. This is terrible we should have got more for this.

Yelp
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. After driving 5 hours, we checked in around 10pm and the girl at the front desk was so horribly rude. She answered every single phone call that came through, INSTEAD of checking us in, leaving us standing there, just staring at her. The last phone call she took, lasted the entire duration of her "checking us in". It was a friend who worked there with her, calling off for the next day. They chit-chatted for 15 minutes, after she wrote a note to the manager stating that there was a call off. I've worked in customer service, and was always taught that if you have someone standing in front of you, and your phone is ringing, you take care of the person in front of you. You either let that phone ring, or answer and say "please hold", until the person in front of you is taken care of. Now, to the room itself. Disgusting is an understatement. There were long black hairs all through our bath towels, long black hair on the floor (My hair is not long and black, for he record), and I wore flip flops in the shower because I was so repulsed by the bathroom. Absolutely filthy, and PITIFUL customer service. Shame.

Yelp
Stayed at Days Inn in Wayne NJ. Generally acceptable but do not leave any items behind in the room. Staff gave us an unnecessary difficult time reclaiming our useful but not valuable property. A situation where common sense would have gone a long way. Discouraged by Sunday daytime staff's antagonistic attitude.

Yelp
On a recent trip back east for our great nephew and great nieces graduations, we had the misfortune of staying at this establishment! The first night we arrived, our bathroom light fixture was not working properly, they told us it was a ballast that needed replacing but their maintenance people do not work on weekends but offered to change rooms. After traveling many hours we decided to stick it out til Monday, at which time we had to switch rooms because they had to shut off the electricity so they could work on it. Also the shower curtain was moldy. The second room, one night coming back late we found our bathroom flooded. The person upstairs apparently fell asleep and left the sink running. On to the third room, that just had hair clogging the tub drain which we dug out manually with a Qtip and an overnight rain came in through the window soaking the carpet and our luggage! The breakfast was inedible (lumpy and congealed oatmeal) there was trash outside of the back entrance on the sidewalk. The ladies bathroom in lobby was out of paper towels for a week (told person at desk many times)! The folks behind the desk tried their best but clearly a management problem. It was reported to Wyndham and they said management would contact us! This never happened!
