DaYung's Tea - Deer Valley

AMAZING OVERALL!!! DRINKS: 9/10 ~drinks were absolutely delectable. Some of the best boba I have ever had. Would've been a 10/10 if there were different cup sizes to choose from. [i recommend the strawberry fresh milk or the caramel boba latte] AMBIENCE: 10/10 ~the vibes were immaculate. The music was perfect volume and the store was very cozy and welcoming. SERVICE: 9/10 ~the staff were very friendly. The drinks took a bit longer, but that made sense considering how busy they were. I was very impressed with how organized they were.

I ordered for pick up. The ordering was a little confusing it had options for three maximum toppings, the kiddos wanted boba so I paid extra for that, my husband didn't want boba so I did not select any toppings. When I picked up the order all milk teas had bobba but the ones for the kids had extra boba like half a cup of Boba. I was so confused, so I guess don't choose toppings because the milk teas already come with Boba? I really like that you can choose the percentage of sweetness and the taste of the boba made up for the confusion. The kids didn't mind the extra boba because they love it but I wish I didn't pay extra for them. All and all, I recommend their milk teas were good. We'll be coming back for our boba fix!

Finally an authentic boba place in north Phoenix! Boba milk tea has real tea flavor and "less sugar" means real "less sugar" and not sweet to death. The drink is ready promptly and price is affordable. They also have a corner of kids books where my kiddo enjoys a quiet moment reading. We will be back and may try the app/online order next time.

This location is smaller as compared to the Tempe and Chandler location. Only one four person table by the door and all others are bar seats along the wall so not for staying for a long time. They do have WiFi though at this location. You can order via a kiosk inside and the menu is the same as other locations. It is also the only location that opens every day of the week with shorter hours (I believe they close at 7pm).

I've wanted to visit this location since I heard about it opening a couple months back. Truthfully the main reason I haven't visited is because they are closed Sunday! I hope one day they open Sunday as well as I could visit so much more! Staff were friendly, but definitely a little disorganized. The supervisor/manager had to alert the cashier to come to serve me as she seemed distracted with a task of stocking stuff under the counter. I ordered a classic milk tea with boba and an orange green tea with boba as well (half sweet). Drinks took a little longer to make than most places including their Tempe location. Drinks were excellent minus the boba tasting relatively unflavored. Thankfully the tea was perfect!! Unfortunately they don't do punch cards at this location or any loyalty program. Their Tempe location does the punch cards and virtually every other boba shop in the Phoenix area offers some sort of retention program; I hope they add one soon! The store is small with very little seating, which the largest table was occupied by an employee cutting out a rectangle from a large cardboard box. I presume this location is mostly grab and go. Looking forward to this location fine tuning their process and becoming even better with time.

DaYung's has arrived in the North valley! I was a semi-regular at the Tempe location years ago when I worked nearby, and would visit whenever I was in the area. I was so excited to see a third location, this one on my commute to work. I stopped by one weekday afternoon and there was a couple ahead of me and a few folks waiting for their drinks. They have a few tables and chairs available to hang out. I went with a classic: boba milk tea with 50% sugar and less ice. I love that this drink already comes with the boba, otherwise it's $0.75 to add. I asked about their rewards program and the friendly bobaista said they are making their own punch cards to be ready in a month or so. My drink was prepared fairly quickly and I was on my way. Sweetness level was spot on, boba was cooked well and there was plenty of it! The drink was slightly watered down/lacking tea flavor but overall wonderful! Looking forward to trying all my favorites and maybe some new ones as well. Hope to see more locations open around the valley, specifically the northeast!

A new Taiwanese bubble tea chain has opened in the Deer Valley area next to Lychee Kitchen. They offer a selection of milk teas, macchiatos, hot teas, and fresh fruit concoctions. The store is bright, clean and modern with minimal seating inside. I came here during grand opening month and took advantage of their daily deals. I ordered a few Boba Milk Teas, Thai Teas, and a Pink Beauty for my co-workers and I. Since I am not a huge fan of milk products, I opted for their fruit-flavored drinks. I wish they had a description of each drink, which would make ordering a bit easier instead of asking the staff and holding up the line. My drink was refreshing but not overly sugary, it was grapefruit flavored with jelly inside. I like how you can customize your sweetness and ice level with additional toppings for an extra charge. I can see myself visiting here frequently on a hot summer day!

Drinks - 5 stars! Wife and I went during their promos for their grand opening and got the boba milk tea and orange beauty. Both were delicious as always. Orange beauty is my favorite drink - refreshing with just enough sweetness and fun to chew on the aiyu jelly. Service - 5 stars! Arrived with a line of people out the door but it was expected as they are having promos for their grand opening. There was probably 5-6 parties ahead of us in line and others waiting for their order inside the shop. But the line moved fast and we got our drinks within about 15 minutes. We had our 14 month old babygirl with us, and she didn't seem to mind the wait, so it couldn't have been that long :) Ambiance - 4 stars. It's definitely a small space with minimal seating so waiting for our drinks felt crammed. Also noticed their tabletop seating against the right side of the shop seemed a bit high. They have barstool style seating against the wall but the tabletop just seemed way too high (although I am a short asian man, so do with that information as you will). Overall - 5 stars! Will be back for sure. Glad they opened one up on the northwest side of town because Tempe was way too far for us in NW Peoria.

I'm so happy to have this place near-ish my house. I have frequent the Tempe location for many years but disappointed I didn't have a more convenient option near home. The fruit teas are great but my personal favorite is the milk tea. Enough tea flavor with a nice balance of sweet at 30%. If I don't get the milk tea, I get the pink beauty or the orange green tea. Boba is always consistent and good. The service is great at this location. They stay organized and are friendly to customers. There is kiosk that can you order from but you can also order from the cashier. Great ambiance to catch up with a friend. The recently added a book corner, which has been good when I bring my kid (who loves boba now too).

Taiwanese Boba shop, perfected over 20 years of dedication. Every cup is handcrafted with premium Taiwanese ingredients and fresh local fruits. They have chewy, house-made boba to our rich milk teas and cold-pressed fruit infusions. I got their Orange Green Tea with 50% sugar level.

The aroma alone makes you not want to leave! The friendly service & a welcome invite feels like a welcome back. The shop is immaculate and a just deserved "A" rating is posted. They have everything that you want in a boba & fruit tea. Savor every sip! 3pm on a Wednesday was busy like it was a Saturday. When you taste it, you'll know why.

Super fast and very friendly service! Staff speaks mandarin and English. This is my first visit to this location. DaYung's is consistent in their flavors and I was not disappointed here. My go-to, taro green milk tea, half sweet, w/less ice, was perfectly creamy and made with real taro! The Wintermelon lemon w/Aiyu jelly was refreshing! Please note: Wintermelon drinks cannot have their sugar level adjusted--it's just how they're made! Cute space, not huge, but inviting and can accommodate small groups! Wish there was one closer to central Phoenix!

So glad we now have a good tea spot in North Phoenix! Came by on a Tuesday at 1pm. Not too busy. Menu has a very nice selection of drinks available. Ended up ordering 5 drinks for myself alone! My favorites were the Fresh Fruit Tea and the Orange Beauty. Refreshing with crisp flavors. Definitely going to be a frequent stop for me!

Tasty milk tea with great tea taste, you can customize amount of ice and how sweet you want it. The boba is great - fresh and slightly chewy. Perfect. Lots of drinks options Will def come back

DaYung's Tea is a pass for me. Both their boba and drink flavors were just barely okay. Walking inside you notice it's a pretty small cafe with limited seating. Most likely you'll have to awkwardly hover over someone at a table while you wait for your drink. Like the amount of seating, there aren't a whole lot of options. The menu is small compared to other boba places. All three drinks I ordered were not really good. They were all thrown out before they were empty. For service, there is not a lot of interaction with the staff, aside from receiving your drink. Everything is done on a kiosk.

Friendly staff, great selection of drinks, and a fun place to enjoy a refreshing beverage in a hot PHX summer with family!

This is easily one of the best boba spots I've been to! The drinks are always fresh, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The boba is perfectly chewy and consistent every time. The menu has a great variety, and they're happy to customize sweetness or ice levels to your preference. The shop is clean, has a nice vibe, and the staff is super friendly and quick with service. Definitely my go-to place when I'm craving boba!

So good. Reasonable prices, kind staff, delicious tea. The tea tastes high quality like it's actual tea, not powdery or syrupy. The boba is fresh. Thanks guys

Love having a real bubble tea shop around my brother's home. You know it's real when they have real taro instead of powder. It was delicious and they have a huge variety of tea!

My regular and best discovery when back to the city. it tastes quite consistent with the "street boba" in Taiwan, authentic, and original. I like HK or Thai style milk tea too, but the Taiwan style is my best; Also, as an asiafoodie, I literally tried all boba places and this one tastes legit. some stuff is practicing their English: it's fun to learn some Mandarin with them :-) Last but not least, their 6$/24oz average price is really fair and most sugar/ice level is adjustable, love it! I will make a video about asia foods here, stay tuned!

I wasn't going to write a review because I like the drinks here and I usually come often but with my experience today it forced me to! First...prior to coming in today I found a fuzzy hair in my drink, came up my straw so I called to inform them of it, so they gave me a credit for my order. 8/9/25. Came in today to use it and everything was fine till the girl with the glasses that was making my drink used her fingers to hold my cups in and at the top AFTER SHE TOUCHED HER PHONE... To me that disgusting and unsanitary! So I politely asked her if I could have new cups. She proceeded to get 1/2 new cups and had COMPLETE attitude and sounded irritated when she was talking to the other girl in their language, obviously I don't know what she was saying because I don't speak it. She also gave me one of my drinks with ice and I specifically asked her numerous times not to put ice in 1/2 of my drinks. So she said another girl would make it, I'm like "sure" I just wanted no ice and at first she told me it would have a little space at the top which is fine but not almost half the cup not filled... I threw my drinks in the trash because I don't know what cup was still touched by her dirty hands. Not to sure if I'll be back after this interaction...which is unfortunate because neither situation should have occurred!

One of the better places I have been too in Arizona. I got the milk tea and my wife got Thai. The milk tea was superior to the Thai tea. It wouldn't surprise me if this was the best boba shop in northern Phoenix. Service was good and ambiance was good as well with a couple outside tables to site. Overall if you are a boba fan this is a must stop.

The drinks are delicious! I got fresh taro milk tea and they actually use real taro. I also got a banana milk tea and it was amazing. It had a great banana taste because they use real fruit. Service is good; You are expected to order using the kiosk. Seating is okay. Mostly stools and one 4-person table.

This is the best boba place around. All fresh ingredients. None of that powdered flavors that the other places use. This place uses real fruits in drinks.

When I worked in Tempe, I used to always stop by their Tempe location. Im so glad they have a location up north now. Customer service is great. Drinks are delicious! and prices are very reasonable for fresh made drinks.

REALLY wanted to love this place, but our drinks were just awful. My husband and I both ordered taro milk tea with boba. The drink was white and frothy and had tons of booger-like chunks in it that made us gag. Didn't taste anything like taro (and taro should be purple?), and was quite disgusting. I'm not one to leave a bad review but it was a total waste and we were bummed! Cute place sweet employees. Wanted to love it!

We went during their opening month and everything was great! Boba Milk Tea and the Strawberry drink were both delicious. Very nice staff and shop as well. We will be back!

It was very cute and modern inside. We got a mango green tea with boba and it was not what I was expecting, but in a good way. Most boba tea places just give you a green tea with a bunch of flavored syrup, but here, you get fresh fruit that's been blended and mixed in with green tea. It's VERY refreshing and also not too sweet. It also helps that you're able to fully customize your drinks sweetness and even ice level. The cashier was very nice and made sure everyone was taken care of very quickly. Only complaint I have is that the drinks on the menus don't have any sort of descriptions, but I'm sure the staff would have no problem explaining them.

Been waiting to visit the shop for forever, finally got to go on Monday!! I've been looking for an authentic boba place in Northern Phoenix and I believe I've found it. Unlike many other boba places, all their teas and fruit are made fresh giving them a special edge over other competing shops in the area. I ordered the classic caramel boba latte, wintermelon lemon w/ chia seeds, and the taro green milk tea all were phenomenal. Most shops use some sort of artificial taro, but theirs was authentic. Though the shop is small, it isn't lacking in any areas. The people are very friendly. The service is quick. The music taste is amazing. 100% would recommend. Will be coming again!!

This place is an absolute gem. I love that I can customize my drinks on the kiosk to exactly meet my personal taste (I personally like to set my sugar to 70%). Everything I have ordered has been fresh, natural and delicious. If you order the orange or grapefruit tea, please know it is freshly squeezed juice which makes it so fresh and delicious. I absolutely love the brown sugar tea with jelly and coconut jelly and the Thai tea with boba was also amazing. I also love supporting small businesses and this place is very much worth going to :) The service is very quick, attentive and the place is neat and clean.
