The line was very long to check in and the prices were higher than listed on the promotional screen. I paid about 100 usd for a room but it was well worth getting a good sleep after an overnight flight. The location is right by the metro but still in the airport so you don’t have to fuss with shuttles. The rooms are modern and gigantic and the bedding was clean and comfy. At 3 am the hotel was really big inside on the top floors and a little creepy in the hallways but just because it was huge and dark. I liked the room a lot and it had a huge window overlooking the airport and Shanghai skyline. Check out is late at noon and they held my bag til 8 pm while I took advantage of a 24 hour transit visa to sight see before my next leg. I’m a super budget traveler so 100 usd for one night is a big splash out for me. But I was happy with my decision.

Situated between Terminal One and Two ... location is great and room is spacious! Another plus point is they allow the airport trolley to push all the way to room ... good hotel for those. With long stop over and need to catch morning plane ... staff is not friendly .. just do their job... The only dissatisfaction is the supermark located in the south lobby ... they charged me 40RMB for a bottle of drinking water .. that's 10 times more than outside ... as its passed midnight and I needed water .. left with no choice ...

Located between terminal 1 and 2 at the airport. If you have a long layover and you wish to sleep, take a shower, etc it's perfect, no need to book beforehand and you can pay by card. Room is nice. 2 things I've found a little bit bad: wifi is unusable as everywhere in China and you have to pay for the whole day for a room, there was no hourly option. I mean this is a transit hotel and most people staying here are doing layovers and just would like to go in there for a few hours so I found this unfair. But overall a good option for long layovers.

We took 45-minutes direct ride on the subway train from the city center. On arrival, we took a short walk from the station to the hotel following a clearly marked sign. After going up the elevator, we had to make a decision, left or right, as there were two buildings - North and South wings. Since our online booking didn't say which one, we tried the North. After registration which didn't take long, we were told that our room was in the South wing and so we went. The staff there just gave us the key card in no time. We found that the room was surprisingly good. The amenities provided were even better than the hotel we stayed in the city. This is a good 3 star hotel. Don't expect any luxury or butler service. However, I add one star for such a convenient location. We had an early morning flight. It took us less than 20 min checking out, walking to the check in counter at the airport. I added one more star from the positive surprise after reading all the negative reviews. Recommend for a good night sleep before your flight.

We had an 8 hours layover from 6am. Hotel is very easy to find, just in the middle of the path between two terminals there is an elevator clearly marked as Hotel Elevator. Receptionist was not smiling at all, but had good English and has checked us in quickly, no reservation was needed and a daily rate was 688 paid by Mastercard. We were on the 5th floor of South tower. Room was great, very modern and looking sharp, same for bathroom. No smells or noises. Room had water, tea, even slippers and all shower amenities. Two double bads with very nice sheets, so we had a great sleep. Nothing beats location, and price is on par with hotels where you need to take a shuttle. Maybe we got lucky but from what we have seen, highly recommend if you are tired and just need a nice place to crash.

Avoid booking this hotel. Check-in is way too long. Room smelled of cigarette smoke even though we requested non-smoking room. The lobby, hallways and the entire hotel smelled like cigarette smokes. Room wasn’t well cleaned. Mattress is hard and cheap. Agree with the rating. If you’re allergic or sensitive to cigarette smoke, don’t book this hotel.

After reading the comments here in google and from travel websites, I was not happy. I had a very long overlay of about 19 or 20 hours. I withdrew the amount of cash needed to check in (room + deposit ) from the ATM in the airport, I prepared the printed out reservation email and then I went to the hotel with the lowest expectation ( Rude receptionist, air conditioning is not working, scamming guest for money ... ). I was pleasantly surprised. Other than the receptionist during check in, with little to no English knowledge and the cleanliness is not top priority ( I have worked in Housekeeping in Motel One. Each room is being double checked by a floor supervisor after the cleaner is done. I would not call it disgusting, just not Standard. overall, I would rate my experience there as good or at least " not bad ". I GOT LUCKY. The receptionist was not rude and I wasn't even asked to pay for a deposit which was not in the email reservation ( I've read from the travel websites that its 300 CN¥ ) and my room was OK. I got a room with a working AC, a shower and I made makeshift comfy bed ( the bed was very hard. I am a fan of hard mattresses as I sleep on one, but that felt like I was sleeping on table. ( absolutely no cushion. An older person will get Pressure ulcer. ). I used the Duvet as a cushion, my jacket as blanket and just wore jogging pants which was good enough.

A very weird place. We stayed here only for about four hours to get some sleep and a shower during our 12 hour layover. You can rent a room by the hour which is exactly what we wanted. We just walked in and were in a room within a minute. Very weird room - it had a window in the door that was unable to be covered so people could see in. The door also doesn’t lock. The bathroom is across the hall and shared but was adequate for a shower. If we weren’t so tired from our 36+ hours of travel we probably would have run for the hills, but it provided what we needed at the time. I wouldn’t recommend it for more than a night. It only took us a few minutes to walk to the terminal and the staff spoke some basic English. Price was around 85 Australian dollars for about 4 hours.
