I spent the night of August 24, 2025 at this hotel without checking the reviews on Google beforehand.
I was so satisfied that I decided to leave a comment. I’m actually very surprised by the low rating. Here is my review:
*Location: (see photo 6 for an airport map). The hotel is right in the middle. It is ideal if you have a flight to catch, as it is located at the very center of the airport (between Terminals 1 and 2). If you get lost, look for Middle Wuzhou Path (see photo 4). Of course, if your goal is to visit the city, this is not the right hotel for you.
*Service quality: this is not a leisure hotel but a transit hotel, intended for passengers in transit. So don’t expect leisure facilities (sauna, hammam, bar, etc.). However, for a stopover, it provides everything you need: comfortable bed, good shower, drinking water, tea, hair dryer, etc.
*Breakfast: for 30 RMB, you get an excellent breakfast, both Chinese and Western (the photo shows my own choice, but there are many options).
*Staff: reception is available 24/7. English is not always perfect, but the staff is helpful.
*Negative point: the hotel is very poorly signposted!
Don’t look for a sign that says Dazhong Airport Hotel: all the signs only say Airport Hotel. The hotel is mainly recognizable by its central elevator (see photos 1 to 3).
*Quietness: from my room, I could see the planes and even a major road, but I didn’t hear a thing: the soundproofing is excellent. I stayed from 11:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., so perhaps it is a bit noisier during the day. The hotel provides earplugs (I didn’t need them).
==>Conclusion: this is a perfect hotel for a layover, but not for a leisure stay!
