Dazzler by Wyndham Puerto Madryn

Our stay at the Dazzler Hotel Puerto Madrid was overall quite enjoyable. The hotel boasts a lovely seafront location with plenty of restaurants, bars, and a supermarket nearby. Our room was very spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable with nice linens, and the overall comfort was great. The only small downside was that the bathroom water pressure could have been a bit stronger, but it was still perfectly fine. As for breakfast, they offered a decent variety of pastries and other items, though the quality of things like coffee and juice could be improved—fresh juice would have been a nice touch. A special thanks to the reception staff, especially Facundo and Pedro, who were very friendly and helpful during both check-in and check-out. Overall, it was a pleasant stay!”

We stayed here three nights for our trip. The room was actually larger than I expected. It is not 4 or 5 star but location was excellent. Not very expensive either.|Food could be a little bit better including breakfast but not a deal breaker.|Lots of places to eat within walking distance and the view of the ocean from the room was nice.

Absolutely incredible! We had an amazing view of the ocean and the privilege and luck to watch whales play directly from our room window. On top of that we were waking up every morning to a beautiful sunrise. The room is spacious and the bed comfortable for a good sleep. The staff is friendly and ready to help with all the things you need.

After staying at another Dazzler property in Buenos Aires, we hoped to have a similarly good experience at the Puerto Madryn hotel, but we were sorely disappointed. There were multiple problems with the rooms, including no water pressure/hot water, keycards not working, and the most annoying of all —- sweltering rooms with no ability to control the air temperature. All rooms require you to call the front desk and ask to adjust the temperature. Whatever they did does nothing. You have to choose between opening the window and hearing loud street noise, or roasting. Mattresses were uncomfortable, breakfast buffet was inedible, and front desk staff were apathetic at best. Avoid!

Perfect for us - modern with courteous, helpful attentive staff, spacious, secure, right on the seafront and a short walk from some great restaurants, coffee shops and places to organise tours and excursions. The hotel has its own restaurant with fine dining in the evening and a fabulous breakfast buffet. There is a sun terrace with sun beds and fabulous views.

Hotel Dazzler Puerto Madryn Rooms are comfortable size and located centrally, some overlooking the beach. The beds are not great and rather uncomfortable, the other furniture bad for one’s health. The shower can hardly be called functional. Our window would not close properly, which made sleeping in the strong wind (very common here) difficult, so they sent someone to fix it - with tape! The curtains do not close properly, which considering the rooms face north means one is woken up early. The breakfast is basic and unchangeable, which after.a few days inedible. The times are for their convenience and not the guests, as breakfast ends at 10:30 - even on New Year’s day. The dinners, to which hotel guests get 20% discount were very good. The cleaning depended on the person doing it. Likewise reception staff, some were very friendly and helpful, others could not be bothered even to greet. The big exception was Juliette who very helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable! This lady was a gem who really did her best to help in any way possible! The restaurant evening staff were friendly and wonderful! It is sad the hotel offers nothing between breakfast and lunch, coffee options would be convenient for guests, especially if it rains or while waiting. Since the flight to Buenos Aires is quite late, we requested late check out for which we had to pay US$ 80 (more than half a night’s rate). The hotel is stated as 4 star which considering the above, we do not feel it deserves. At best it is a 3. If we were to come to Porto Madryn again we would seek another place.

We have just spent 3 nights at the Dazzler and can't fault it.||We has an Ocean View room which gave us many views of whales in the bay.||The room was very spacious, clean and fresh and met all our needs. We ate in the hotel restaurant (Coiron) twice. It is very popular, open to non-residents and reservations are essential. The food is excellent.||A special "Thank You" should go to Julieta on the front desk for her fluent English and for being extremely helpful and welcoming.||All in all...a great location and a great stay.

Lovely 4 star hotel, we came here for 3 days as part of our honeymoon, central area with a nice sea view. Staff are very helpful and beds are comfy, breakfast didn’t have much options but a great way to pick up some food if you’re on the go. Would def recommend !
