db San Antonio Hotel + Spa

First time in Malta. Brilliant stay, great staff, food, and facilities. Great weather for February too, so I also enjoyed the outdoor pool a couple times. It’s a little shallow, but otherwise pleasant. I found my room a little hot (???) but no other problems. The location is really handy. There are lots of things to do nearby, and the transportation links are very good. Big room, nice view and great value for February. I would come back.

Lucky to stay here for our first trip in Malta in winter season with reasonable price. Here I feel really welcomed. Everything is comfortable & Casual, the deco, the facilities(lifts, reservation restaurant automatic machines) & room equipment are modern & efficient. gym is well equipped, very friendly helpful staffs everywhere & excellent breakfast , Tajine restaurant was enjoyable, so far 2 days experience is fantastic. Personal opinion Only things I like to swim^^ early in the morning. In spring I would better go to the beach at Sunrise… The indoor pool opening hours are late for me. Weekday at 8h. The outdoor pool is not heated. I think many other hotels are the same.

This hotel is in a good place for access to the shops, sea front and bus terminal. The rooms are clean, have all the stuff needed and exactly as the photos show. The food was very good and a great variety. We ate in the Tagine restaurant and that was amazing. All staff were helpful and nothing was too much. We had a few issues with the room which were fixed within 10 minutes. I will certainly go back to this hotel and have already started to recommend to family and friends.

We had a wonderful stay at dB San Antonio Hotel & Spa. The room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—truly a home away from home. The staff was very friendly and supportive to my parents, especially my mum who uses a wheelchair. We had some fantastic dining recommendations and New Year's Eve celebration will surly be a memorable one. The all inclusive concept offered a huge variety of buffet options. All dining experiences were delicious. The use of the Spa gives you a warm welcome and it is the perfect hideaway from reality to relaxation, thanks to the efficient staff service they offer. The location of the hotel is perfect for a nice walk down the promenade and close to any amenities needed. Thank you for an exceptional experience; we can’t wait to return!"

I took my mother on a trip to Malta and chose this hotel because we could go all inclusive. We were both looking for a place were we could eat good food, drink good wine and relax in lovely surroundings. ||The hotel is considered 4/5 star and there is the option for an all-inclusive plus which gave us wine upgrades and access to a select area as well as a few other perks. ||My confidence in the places was rocked when I discovered they had no record of my booking despite it being confirmed by email. After a few tense phone calls all was sorted. When we arrived there seemed to be another confusion as they again could not find the booking. ||Once sorted we were booked in. We had both chosen the upgraded rooms with sea view. However, worth point out that our rooms had partial sea views because despite photographs (which have been carefully taken) most views are blocked by buildings. The rooms themselves were adequate but probably not worth the upgrade. The all inclusive plus gave us some treats in the room - my Mum got hers but I had to ask for mine. ||The food is buffet style and was good enough with something for everyone. There is no outside eating space and the interior (save for one area that was once a restaurant open to the public) is pretty basic. The AI+ gave us better wine, but the restaurant was not equipped for this and we constantly had to ask for the wine list. It would be 10 mins between asking for it, giving an order, it coming and then another 10 while they searched for a corkscrew and this happened every time. ||There is a special lounge for AI+ with a terrace which was a nice touch. It had snacks and lots of choice of cocktails. The terrace is not in the sun. ||There is a roof terrace which for us was spoiled by a group of young people playing very loud music. We could tell it was annoying and disturbing lots of people and they were asked to turn it down but ignored the staff. After this we used the ground terrace near the pools. This was ok but crowded. ||If you go AI you can choose to eat in some of the other hotels attached to the restaurant and these were mostly good with a good choice of food. ||The hotel is separated from the beach by a road, but it is central and you can walk to lots of shops and restaurants. ||The staff in the hotel were delightful and very helpful. The evening entertainment was dire!||For me this was a hotel that over-promised and under-delivered. It is very much catering to the TUI package holiday market and while they offer a swish AI+ they truly couldn't live up to it for so many reasons. ||This is also very much a family hotel with children running round everywhere and has taught me that adult only hotels are probably more me. If you are looking for something for a family then this may work for you.

Handy location close to the sea front promenade and shops, bars and restaurants. 5 minutes walk to the bus station with connections across the island. Room was a good size with a balcony with pool and partial sea-view and was clean and tidy, could've done with a bit more storage and a vanity desk but these are really very minor comments and didn't detract from our great experience. Several restaurants with a wider choice of food than you could ever need, always plenty of tables. I was particularly impressed with the Smart lift system which avoided the usual chaos you often get in hotels. A special shout out to the staff who were all faultless, from the front desk to the restaurant teams and house-keeping, always very polite, courteous and helpful.|Many thanks for making our stay so enjoyable (M&F P******d, rm476 28/12-03/01)

The hotel room was a little disappointing and is in desperate need of some updating. The area was quiet but at the same time has a fair amount to do. The food and all inclusive service was really good. Overall the service was great in the hotel itself!! But the lady in the gym was not very hospitable when I asked about the opening times, until her manager stepped in and assisted. On the contrast, in the hotel itself I especially liked the customer service which was given by Natacha at the front desk. She was so helpful when it came to assisting my husband with the purchase of a bouquet of flowers for me and also helped me with the transportation of the flowers back home. I really appreciate what she has done and the hotel is so fortunate to have her 👍🏾. Also Michael in the restaurant was excellent!! He addressed each person in their own language and always was smiling. He is a true example of great customer service. I enjoyed the service here and it was definitely a plus for the hotel. Thank you so much for making our stay a great one.

Great hotel, the location is perfect, offering breathtaking views and easy access to all major attractions. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service. I would especially like to thank Santosh for going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. His warm and professional approach truly made me feel welcome and valued. The food was delicious, with a great variety to choose from every day. The entire staff was attentive and always ready to assist.
