Honest, friendly, knowledgeable, and don’t try to sell you things you don’t need like other brand name shops. Doug is a well versed and awesome guy that runs his shop very well. Will always take my e-bike and any other mountain bike here for as long as he’s open and running! if you’re in the Monterey or Salinas area this is the only mountain bike shop you need!

Bought a Giant revolt online. They immediately notify me the bike has minor cosmetic damage and share picture with me. They also help me to get discount from Giant. Drove over 300 miles to pick up the bike.. Very smooth transition and very helpful service from Doug and Sherry.

DISINFECT YOUR BIKE. They provided me with a quality product that suits my needs. I knew little of what I wanted, and they guided me easily to exactly what worked for me. On that note, Doug did not follow COVID-19 safety precautions and wear a mask when dealing with customers. He asked if I wanted him to wear a mask, but I answered no for one reason: he had not been wearing a mask around the place for who-knows-how-long. Likewise, a family-unit apparently familiar to Doug likewise were not following precautions, and had a child about the place. I had to assume the whole store may as well be infected (the only safe assumption to make). I kept my hands to myself for my protection. The lovely lady behind the counter wore a mask for my comfort and protection, and she made my visits pleasant despite the circumstances. That lack of integrity turned off my partner from buying from them, however, while I was content to deal with handling my own safety; I returned home after each visit and thoroughly cleaned my car, my hands, and eventually me beautiful Rocky Mountain Cross bike and snazzy helmet. Quality Product. Knowledgeable staff. Sloppy operation/policy enforcement. Nicest piece of equipment I own.

I had an issue with my older bicycle. The bike wasn't worth a lot but it has sentimental value and I still wanted to get it fixed. The staff at DC-10 took their time to find the best solution for my issue and the labor costs were more than reasonable. Communication during the process was excellent and everyone at the shop was very friendly. Ol' Trusty v2.0 is all fixed up looking better than ever. Thanks DC-10.

Great staff, great shop! Professionalism, great recommendations, no sales pitches, just there to help you get back on two wheels. Honest as the day is long. If you need a place to hang out, you’re welcome at anytime. Reminds me of the shop I worked at in the mid-late 80’s.

Had a great experience. A few months back I had new breaks and tires put on my motorcycle the price was right for everything. It even came in under what I was quoted, and they even did a few extra things to my bike at no charge. Will be coming back for anything else my bike needs and would definitely recommend this shop.

Doug is super knowledgable and capable mechanic of Beta motorcycles. He's worked on my Beta Xtrainer and helped work through some warranty repairs. Very responsive and accommodating.

Best place to get your bike fix or have any questions. Doug and his wife are welcome and great personality. Best bike shop in Salinas, CA. I go to the shop for anything road and mountain bike.
