DCH on Mitchell

Perfect location and easy to find. Check in was simple, however upon arrival to our room we opened the fridge and immediately hit with a revolting smell realised the fridge had something in that was moldy. So clearly this made us question how clean the rest of the room was. We went straight down to reception and asked to change rooms which they allowed us too. We had to also request more pillows are the ones in the rooms were as thin as paper. The air con worked great and the shower was nice and the rest of the room was intact clean. Not the best place I’ve stayed but for the price and location it was not bad.

Well, what can I say, it's in the party central precinct. Flight got in at 1 am. The streets front & back of hotel partied until 4 am, screaming young adults, then the street cleaner came at 5 am we got no sleep that night , went to reception the next morning, got a room change to the other side of the hotel, this was better, other than a lot of corridor noise. Only good thing going for it, is it's very central in location. There are 95 rooms in this 3 story complex SO you can imagine just how small the rooms are. And quite possible photo shopped for booking sites. The pool isn't clean to swim in. I would not recommend this hotel, plenty of others to choose from. The staff were nice

I booked what was advertised as a 4-star hotel through DCH, but what I got was completely different. They put me in another building that was basically a backpacker hostel. The room was noisy, filthy, and very dirty. Bins were overflowing, people were having a party in the carpark until well past midnight, and there were beer bottles everywhere. On top of that, people were smoking weed right outside. This was nothing like what I paid for or expected from a 4-star booking. Extremely disappointing experience.

Good location, close to the city centre with plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby. It can be noisy at night. Reception is in a different building from the rooms, but there's a sign to guide you, so it's manageable. Room cleaning is only done on some days, and the air filter could use some maintenance. Overall, it was the cheapest place I found in the city—more like a serviced apartment, and you get what you pay for.

Reception is separate from the building I was out to stay. I had to walked around the buildings before arriving at the reception area. Very noisy at night time. Young people yelling and laughing like they are own the building around 11:00 pm. Another yelling and laughing talking very loudly after midnight. It’s a nightmare when you trying to sleep and could not get some rest. Very disappointed. I’m not recommending anyone to stay because of my experience. I founds 3 cockroaches on the walls. Very small room too I could not see iron board in the room

Location is convenient. It was very difficult to find out how to get into the hotel and there were no staff on site. The rooms are incredibly small so not the most comfortable for a couple. One of the nights we were there the fire alarm went off. There was no one working to help direct and muster people. Eventually a staff member from the hotel next door turned up with the fire brigade. Once it was safe to reenter the building he held the door open but didn’t engage with anyone to reassure them or thank them for evacuating. It wasn’t obvious that hotel management cared at all about the safety of their guests.

I was so disappointed, the bathroom looked like it had never been cleaned. Constant noise almost impossible to sleep.house keeping were rude.i ended up checking out & leaving early 3 days before my fully paid week was up.manager didn't seems fazed by my concerns great location.but the hotel needs to set up reception in the biolding & run it like the main hotel on smith Street. I also had to ring them to get them to release my deposit because they forgot to do it.

Best Location total central, great service and always clean. Feel secure and safe yet still in the heart of the city.
