Not quite 5 ⭐ but definitely better than 4. The site is located right on the beach with a swimming jetty. The sea views are excellent although include the industrial port which is nevertheless quite dramatic. It is very near the local tourist attractions such as the infinity bridge and Marselisborg Slot. It is easily accessible for Aarhus either by bus or bike. The Old Town museum in Aarhus is incredible. Check in is incredibly efficient and staff very friendly. They were very responsive when I changed dates on several occasions. The toilet block is clean and I love that the showers are not push button. You need to choose a sunny pitch as many go in the shade by early evening. The shop has a small bar and there is a burger van. The grass is quite worn in places and generally it is not so modern.

Brilliant campsite in the forest near Aarhus. Direct access to the beach with sea swimming. Easy to get to the town and local attractions by bike along dedicated bike paths and the bus stops right outside. A trip to the infinite bridge, the kings summer palace, the old town museum and restaurants on the marina all recommended. Had a brilliant stay here. You may need some wedges to level your van.

We spent a week at the DCU Blommehaven campsite. It's nice situated near Aarhus and right by the sea. Unfortunately, on the very first night, our connected e-bikes and electric scooter were stolen right next to the camper. Along with ours, several others were stolen! The campsite told us that the many cameras at the entrances were inactive. Why? Something like this hadn't happened at the campsite for a long time. We filed a police report, and they told us that theft is a big problem in Blommehaven! Why aren't we warned? A sign or a notice would have been nice! Our vacation isn't quite as enjoyable without our bikes. We're now driving around the trailer for our two children and the dog trailer for nothing. Stupid! We would have appreciated a warning and honesty from the campsite.

Very friendly staff, superb location. BUT: having the bathroom doors closed because of the swallows, while 10 toilet cabins are occupied by men doing their "business" is an olfactoric challenge! Aircondition would be a thing here!

The camping spot is right in the south of Aarhus and you will reach the city center by bike within 10 to 20 minutes. Right at the camping side we enjoyed a perfect view on the bay, the refreshing jumps into the water and walks along the beach as well as the surrounding forrest. We will come back.

We had a great stay at DCU Camping Blommehaven. It's not too far from Aarhus by bike (about 15-20 minutes). The location is excellent, close to the sea. The toilets, showers, and public kitchen were of good quality and kept clean. The staff were also friendly. The only remark I have is about the waste system. Like other DCU campsites, there aren’t many containers or an easy sorting system. This contrasts with the otherwise well-organized waste sorting system in Denmark.

Great spot for camping by the woods and lovely landscape, but the servicehouses with the toilets and showers had always full garbagecans and rarely paper to dry off the hands. It was also a lot of humidity in the shower/toiletrooms which is not nice.
