This restaurant exudes a charming ambiance that truly captivated us. We thoroughly appreciated the intimate setting created by its limited number of tables, the inviting aroma of freshly baked goods, and the vibrant, lively colors that brighten the space. I had the pleasure of trying the Korean burger, and I must say, it was a delightful experience for my taste buds—absolutely unforgettable, a food Orgasm I say . Their pastries were equally impressive—fresh, rich, and perfectly crafted. The place tends to become quite busy, whether for takeout or dine-in, which is a testament to its popularity. However, despite the limited seating, we found that service could be a bit slow; it took about an hour to receive a cup of coffee, which was sometimes already cooling by the time it arrived.

We had breakfast here yesterday and really enjoyed the experience! I ordered the Trout Eggs Benedict with a cappuccino – everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. The food did take a little longer than expected to arrive, but it was definitely worth the wait (just don’t go too hungry 😅). Our waitress, Nandi, was absolutely delightful – professional, warm, and she kept us updated throughout, which made the wait much easier. I also loved seeing the variety of homemade pastries, cakes, and croissants on display, and the unique Korean-inspired touches like kimchi on the menu were a nice surprise. Overall, a cozy spot with great food and excellent service. Would definitely recommend! ✨

Great place we went to for breakfast after spotting it the day before because of the colourful exterior Service was awesome, everyone was attentive and welcoming. Food and drinks arrived quickly (though we went early on a Monday morning and it was not yet busy) The food was excellent, loved the Miso Sourdough Bread with the beetroot hummus, was a lovely combination of different tastes The almond croissant was great as well, still warm from the oven and a lovely treat.

This was worth the long wait 😜 What a vibe in the middle of Melville. A must for breakfast. We recommend the Gochujang Breakfast Muffin. A real flavour explosion, rich in taste and the sour Kimchi cutting through it all. It’s probably the best breakfast we had thus far in Johannesburg. The toasted chicken-mayo and kimchi sandwich was also really good but didn’t beat the Breakfast Muffin. Coffee was very decent too and the service very friendly yet slow. We will come back next time we are in Johannesburg!

First time here. Had the mince on toast. Tasted good. Thought the price (R135.00) high for what I got here, based on what I get for the same at other places. Nice colourful place. Tge baked goods looked superb. Bought some cookies and a custard Danish which were really nice.

Absolute gem. The coffe is divine, the croissants as if from a parisian bakery and the people just so lovely and warm. Definitely recommend the cinnamon roll and almond croissant if in stock.

Worth a visit! The quality and flavors of the pastries are incredible! So good in fact, we order some more for takeaway. Really nice that you can have both sweet and savory options, and all are equally delicious. It was lovely to sit near the counter, and the bakers are willing to chat. This place is HIGHLY recommended.

This is a quaint and charming little café. Service is good. The cookies are to die for and the croissants are absolutely heavenly. Recommend. Edit: they also pass the French toast test with flying colours
