We absolutely loved the food! All of the dishes were tasty and next level in terms of the details, without being pretentious.
We started with a 0% bubbly Chardonnay that was recommended by our server, and it did not disappoint. It had highlights of the grape without being too sweet.
Delicious cabbage salad with mache, toasted almonds, and grapefruit, the best risotto I have ever had, with a delicate lemon undertone, creamy barley, topped with perfectly prepared asparagus and julienned yellow squash, with a dusting of slightly sweetened toasted oats. Leeks braised in their own skin, full stop amazing. Served with a delicious mustard based purée and toasted nuts and a dollop of vegan crème fraiche. All vegan!
Dessert was a very rich pannacota topped with poached strawberries and sesame sugar “wafers”, for lack of a better term. Plus a divine stewed rhubarb which was just firm enough to maintain its integrity, but dissolved on the tongue.
