Don not bother to book this hotel 😱 My family and myself really regret staying for the “ FOUR STARS” hotel for two nights for 2190 baht per night 😅 worst nightmare BTW I really do not how this hotel named itself as a 4 stars and this accreditation is really questionable.👎 1. All room slippers should be of one-time usage and should not be sanitised for reuse. 2. I have asked for a late check out around 2 pm and was told by the receptionist that she is charging additional 1000 baht per room x 2 nos for extra 2 hours 3. The hotel is almost empty with little or no guest and only car parked in the front car porch which is belonging to us 4. Upon arrival of the hotel, there is no bellboy and my partner has to remove the safety cone so that I can park my car myself. 5. There is no bellboy to assist our luggage to the rooms. 6. The receptionist is totally not friendly and show bad attitude during check-in. 7. When we return back to hotel , the receptionist just ignored us and do not even bother to greet us. 8. Lousy breakfast for a “4- Stars “ hotel 9. Too many aspects that do not match a 4 stars hotel. Book at your own risk 😱 can book to experience yourself their quality hotel stay Good luck 🤞

The best thing about De Chai Oriental Nimman is its location. There are many great restaurants, cafes, and massage places just around the hotel. One Nimman (a shopping complex that has an European look) and MAYA Shopping Center are just around a 10-min walk. ||The room is pretty standard with minimal design. It's clean with all the necessary amenities. The bed is comfortable. ||Staffs are helpful and efficient in general. Breakfast is not very elaborate, but has enough varieties. They will also cook eggs based on our preference. We're basically fine with it. ||There is a swimming pool on the roof, but it's really more like a plunge pool. One can probably swim from one end to another within 5 strokes. There are only two sunbeds. ||There is also a bar next to the pool. We had drinks there on our first evening. Nice breeze with city view, but it's not much of a view really. There are many other rooftop bar choices in the Nimman area if that's what you are looking for. ||In short, everything works but it's not the type of hotel I would say "Let's stay there again next time."

Short 2 days stay. Room was quite big with one king bed and one single bed. Nice to have 2 bathrooms. Breakfast was very basic. Location was Ok depending what you are in CNX for. Service was a little less than we expect from thai hospitality. Staff was not too forth coming and initiative. Overall was OK but nothing to shout about.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed by every aspect of my visit. The property itself felt neglected and uninviting from the moment I arrived, and the staff were shockingly rude—providing no assistance unless I specifically asked, and even then, it was minimal. The room was nothing like the pictures: the furniture was cheap and worn, the shower area was cramped and grimy, and the overall décor was mismatched in a strange and uncomfortable way. The included breakfast was also incredibly cheap and unsatisfying, leaving me hungry soon after. All in all, I’d strongly advise against booking a stay here.

Would not recommend this hotel. Super noisy at this hotel at all hours. The walls and doors are paper thin so nearby airport flights sound like jets taking off next to you. Air conditioning is also extremely loud and broke next day. They came to fix it but wasn’t really fixed. The hot water wasn’t very hot. There was also a moldy/sewer smell in the room. There was also domestic violence that wasn’t resolved by hotel staff from 2am until 5am. We had to get involved to ask them to quiet down because they were shouting down the lobby and disrupting everyone’s sleep. The staff needs more training on conflict resolution and not check in clearly problematic clients.

Very comfortable room with 1 King Bed and 1 Single Bed in the Grand Premier Room. The air conditioner is super powerful and can be made to be very cold if you want to. ||Breakfast is not bad, small selection of western stuff such as croissants, hash browns, bacons and there will be a rotation of Thai/Asian dishes such as Fried Rice, noodles, and soup daily. ||Location is really nice, set in a quiet road just a turn in from the main Nimman road. Close walking distance to One Nimman (about 10 minutes). Lots of massage centers nearby, in fact there is one right next to the hotel. ||If I do come back to Chiang Mai, I'd definitely stay here again!

The location of this hotel was perfect, outside the hustle and bustle of the city centre, but plenty of shops, bars and restaurants around. A highlight of our stay was the Italian restaurant directly opposite the hotel called 'Why not?'. The food was so amazing that we ended up eating here for all 3 nights of our stay in Chiang Mai. The reception staff were friendly and helpful when advising us of amenities in the local area. The rooftop pool had lovely views, but the bar did not open until 6:30pm. We didn't find this a problem as we took our own drinks up to the pool area during the day. We booked the two bedroom premier suite which was spacious and nicely decorated.

[De Chai gives you free drinks if you leave them a kind review during your stay so please be mindful of the reviews you see here :) ]I found the two bathrooms very appealing along with the price per night so I decided to stay here during my trip with my parents, but there are a lot of room for improvement.Location: 11-15 minutes away from Chiang Mai Airport so you can hear airplanes flying by in the hotel room. If you’re a light sleeper you might find discomfort staying here. There are definitely better hotels near here, personally I don’t recommend staying here. There are yummy food places near by that made up my experience here! I liked how I could walk to One Nimman & Maya to beat the heat.Amenities: gym is pretty small, and the pool is tiny too. The pool was so warm as the water isn’t being circulated, which personally discouraged me opt out of swimming here. There were dead bugs floating around too. The pool closes from 6:30pm as there’s a small roof top bar. The gym operates from 7am to 7pm only.Room: When I checked in, there was hair & dust on the floor. I later addressed this to the front desk the next day (we checked in the evening) & they cleaned it thankfully. The bigger issue here is a structural issue with the restroom floor. While showering, I realized that my feet were submerged in water and I was showering in a shower booth, not bath. The drainages are not working well so I had to be careful while showering because of this issue. It’s also because the water doesn’t flow to the drain fast enough and the water is just going to be all over the bathroom floor. I communicated this with the hotel staff but they just told me to shower with the drain top off but that didn’t fix the issue as I had to stop from the water overflowing by making circles on top of the drain to help the water drain out + using towels to soak the spilled out water. However, this might be a problem with just my room though. I stayed in room 502, so I hope this helps.Service: Most staff don’t speak english fluently so it was quite difficult to communicate with them especially with my drainage problem. They’re not really welcoming but I think they are just shy because when I asked them something they looked startled and they didn’t know what to say.
