Kind of a mixed experience. Beautiful venue and outdoor area, with a huge tent cover to dine under, loved the atmosphere. And great cocktails.
The food is where it gets tricky so I'll give individual scores.
Starter 5/5
We chose the variety of cold tapas for two as a starter and got a great selection of cold meats, cheese, hummus and sides, really nice and worth every €.
For our main courses:
3/5
I got the Rib-eye chianina tagliata, a €38 Italian slice of beef, grilled and cut, served with some rucola and parmigiana cheese. Honestly for me it wasn't worth it, for the price you pay it was underwhelming. I expected something better, it wasn't bad but just not great either. It lacked depth and flavor. The whole dish revolves around the meat and it just didn't stand out. Also the few sprinkles of cheese on top where kind of sad, a bit too few too small.
My girl had the smokey burger: 3,5/5
I gotta say it looked amazing from my side of the table. But she told me it was too salty, and we both like salty so that's gotta mean something. Also the two slices of cheese ment this overpowered the flavor of the meat.
We will definitely give it a second chance, the staff was super friendly and a great atmosphere/location. I'll definitely update this after our next visit.
