De Eenhoorn koffie & thee

The coffee was good, but I was surprised to see their cortado recipe have so much milk. Usually it's 20-20 or 20-40ml.

I went to this place to buy non-supermarket coffee. The staff knew the characteristics of their roasted beans, which are the beans that are roasted by them. I told about my taste preferences, and they recommended some beans that would fit the best among their options(I'm not an expert in coffee tasting). Since I don't have a grinder at the moment, they helped me in choosing a grind size; and they did the grinding for me. They had a nice grind level list next to their beautiful looking grinder 😊 I still recommend owning a good quality grinder for yourself, because a shop grinder may not be very accurate. I got a mixture of medium and fine grounds. The cupping image I'm sharing is for 9g/180ml. It shows the complete picture of the ground without any separating techniques. I liked the coffee I bought. I can try other options, but this is a safe option for me now. Since the shop was not busy at the hours I went, we could have a friendly chat on coffee. They were nice people 😊 Their English was also great! I also had a cup of cappuccino for 3€. I haven't had a good coffee since a while, and I really enjoyed it. I think it was a good one. With the coffee, they gave something like a little cookie. It was cute and tasty. Among with coffee, they told that they have, like 50 tea options, which was nice to hear 😄 The place I sit indoors had a cozy feeling. I remember some dark wood aesthetics. There was also a candle on each table 😊 I liked this place. Would consider going again.a,

Great place to enjoy excellent coffee and tea. Nice personnel and don't forget to check out the coffee roasting (usually Thursdays) and the adjacent cigar shop. Update 220204: No more coffee roasting in public space. But you can book a factory tour to watch cigar making and possibly coffee roasting.

Tasty flat white. Could really taste the strong coffee flavor. ☕.

A very lovely place. Linked to the artisanal cigar workshop next door, this is a place that has been providing this town with fine coffee, tea, tobacco,... for a very long time. So they sell and serve quality, and all of that in a cozy setting. Even if you don't have time for a drink, just pop in to have a look.

It's interesting to observe the evolution of coffee houses in Italy to relatively new phenomenon in my hometown of Portland, Oregon. The owner, I believe, has visited our city and I'm pretty certain this place brings tradition (nearly) full circle back to Europe, bringing with it the contemporary advancements in coffee-sourcing, roasting, machinery, and barista mastery. These places have become the beating heart of the community, providing a meeting place and a venue to feature local artists and craftsmen. Of course, do not forget tea, cigars (next door) and other treasures. Besides coming here whenever I can find an excuse, it's a perfect place to find gifts to bring back home.
