I was finally contacted with an apology after reminders from my end. Imagine having to follow up for something like this is really beneath my comprehension. Alas, I was reimbursed. Then I was asked to remove my review or update it because I was spreading false statements.
The audacity to ask this is really WILD.
ZERO self awareness and resolution is what I call this. A greedy cheap way to convey 'GOODWILL' with lack of customer building, retention and business acumen.
I had to follow-up / send reminder/call - no response while they had the receipt and my contact info on the back of the receipt. And I was asked to provide receipt proof (which I took a pic of the receipt luckily).
See how you get bamboozled then gaslighted with braveness then switched to a victim and ask for rectifying a review within one breath.
Well done.
I would say if you are going here, know that the moment you transaction goes thru the till /touchscreen. It is gone to the depths of the earth, because they do not reimburse/provide gift cards. Deplorable service.

NEVER go here. They will steal your money, don’t provide credit/receipt and despite call and email - do not reply. Expensive 5,40 eur of no ice cream. Ordering goes through touchscreen - machines were not showing correct amounts. I asked the assistants for help but had already paid (as I doublechecked with other machine) which she rebooted, when I asked for credit/voucher as at that point I couldn’t order anymore after waiting 10 minutes they don’t offer this as service. I explained, I did not live in Rotterdam and this is an expensive ice cream not to receive. She left a note for the owner/manager. I emailed 2x and called 1x and never received a response - this is three weeks ago. I prefer to support local small businesses but when they have deplorable service and zero responsibility / accountability and acknowledgement that is when you know you are dealing with people that don’t value customers. And as such I will go where my euro is valued and respected. Businesses like these are a disgrace to small businesses who already have it challenging. If you want to be bamboozled go to this ice shop. I’m back to Ben & Jerry’s and will avoid this place like the pest.
