We stayed for four nights. On the first day, we entered our room. It was very cold (17°C). We turned on the air conditioning to warm it up. After an hour, the temperature remained the same.
I then called reception for a solution. Fortunately, the woman I spoke to was very responsive and told us that the air conditioning had been broken for two days. She then moved us to another room for our stay within half an hour. Thank you to her!
Next time, however, avoid putting guests in rooms before the air conditioning is repaired, especially in winter.
The room was well-furnished, with everything you need for cooking.
The cleaning could be more thorough in some areas, but overall it was clean (a few marks on the shower walls, stains on some sheets and towels, no mattress protector, a sewer smell in the bathroom, and the shower soap dispensers were almost empty).
Our room faced the street, and you can definitely hear the passersby. Bring earplugs.
Finally, on three out of four mornings, the fire alarm went off. I tried calling reception to have someone turn it off. The first morning, it was done within 15 minutes. The other two mornings, it was earlier (around 9 am), and no one answered. The alarm sounded continuously for over an hour. I hope that if there's ever a fire, reception will be more responsive if it happens before 10 am...
Otherwise, the location is quite convenient, right on the tram line to the train station. The neighborhood is rather quiet and pleasant, with parks, restaurants, etc.
We had no problems with the QR codes; they worked perfectly.
