De Koningsherberg

Nice place, nice atmosphere, kind people. We stayed for a really long time while ordering only once because we chose this location to meet up with friends and talked for quite a while and instead of asking us to order again they brought is a fleece for the cold. Enjoyed the coffee too, though I'm not an expert on that front

We had an excellent fresh orange juice and a slice of apple pie that was crusty and well warmed up, with whipped cream and cinnamon. Recommended. Only minus, the service was a bit slow

Stopped for lunch. Warm day. Outside on the terrace. Nice !||Lunch menu average. Young lady serving nice enough. My "uitsmijter" (fried eggs on ham/cheese/bread) however was lukewarm to cold and the egg in places rather chewy (fried in superglue ??). The partner's choice was OK though nothing special.

We visited the Koningsherberg while on holiday. We first had morning coffee and cakes and then, later the same day, returned for lunch. The service was friendly and efficient and the sandwiches and cakes tasty. There is outdoor seating from which you can watch the happenings in this beautiful vllage. Would definitely return if in the area again.

At lunchtime I stopped with my bicycle at the Koningsherberg and took the "Uitsmijter" with carpaccio and Parmesan cheese. It was almost to big for the plate with all the garni. The tast was also very good. One minor point were the toilets with walls consisting of very dark tiles.

Nice hotel, restaurant and cafe. Very friendly young staff and good food. The apple pie was still warm and very well presented.

Too good to be true. The chef and barista are magician's of presentation. Favorite coffee place, #1 on the list.

Nice warm apple pie and coffee also some nice special beers on tap.
